Aki thought his head was going to explode as he woke up. He was on the ground and he didn’t remember sleeping in such a creepy place at all. To be honest, he didn’t recall this place at all. He was sure that he slept in his own bed, in the afternoon, because he was feeling sleepy. Two of his teachers were absent this day, so he had enough time to go home and take a nap. And now, he found himself in a room who reminded him a little of a laboratory. Suddenly, the pain came back and Aki couldn’t help but cry a little. What happened to him? So far he knew, he didn’t have something on the head, maybe he has fallen or someone helped him with it. Despite the pain, he registered anything around him. Some broken chairs, things that probably used to be tables before, but no one was here. The young man was entirely free in his movements, but why? “Maybe they thought you won’t wake up so early, if they come back, I hope you’re ready to fight.” Aki stood up calmly and tried to search for a weapon as he saw a familiar bag of him. What was his illegal weapon doing here? As he tried to remember, his head showed his disapproval by sending waves of pains, but he saw him going away after the sleep to train with the gun in an abandoned building. That was all. He opened the bag, took the gun, checked the ammo and hid it under his shirt. If someone had kidnapped him, why would he or they let him alone with this? He still had his cap on his head and a hand on the gun as he looked at the only exit of this room. “You didn’t heard anything here yet, didn’t you? Don’t you find it strange?” The young guy rushed to the exit and tried his best not to panic completely. He breathed heavily and the goddamn pain in his head didn’t want to go away. Is he alone here? What is this place? And why? Aki didn’t know anything and that was troubling him more than he thought. |

Sayuri's nightmare continued. Rather, her dream had started out nice, as nice as dreams could be--especially hers. Surreal but with very familiar elements, the familiarity of things as outlandish as a crimson sky filled with planets and sugary dust, of water parks built in pink coral castles in oceans seasoned with pepper, not salt. Of the lush gardens made with plastic plants--she remembered it was plastic because the leaves snapped--and the masked figure with glowing spots covering its eyes--although everyone said to avoid this figure because its stare could poison you-- --and then dankness, it reminded Sayuri of the school bathrooms with something was clogged, only with --her head pained, the skin felt ruptured all the way to the skull--but it hadn't been the fuzzy monsters like the ones doodled on old homework with crayons, child terrors that could be considered more cute and funny than terrifying--not now, or, really, not recently when the dream had turned to-- --it was dim in her surroundings. Dim but orange. No, green. Sayuri was slumped in an odd position, her torso scrunched and her legs on top of her as her back curved, her head at a pained angle. It was hard to tell when her dreams transitioned sometimes, because they seemed to be just minutes before she woke up, overwriting any past fantasies. When she came to Sayuri found herself in a tube. A broken tube. Sprawled as if she had slipped in a very small shower. She rose, struggling to remember what sequence had led her to these surroundings. It was uncommon for her to be herself in her dreams, she often followed the perspective of someone else--but it still made sense when the illusionary plot shifted to her specifically, having always 'been there' following the other perspective. Sayuri was light-headed rising to her feet so she rolled onto her stomach instead, crawling out of the giant tube. The floor was tiled but grimy, with odd things pooling. She saw something. A mug. She reached out to grab the handle. A cryptic phrase: 'World's Best ____' but the rest was smudged out. It seemed very familiar, its existence key to understanding what had happened she felt, so the mug was hugged to her chest when she did rise. The room was very strange, with other glass tubes--broken or intact--like hers, with cables looped from the ceiling. She'd never dreamed of such a place before and this felt like a very realistic dream. All of her senses felt things. The air was cold and clammy--she was disheveled and somehow moist, her uniform rumpled--something about it smelled sour, again reminded her of water-logged bathrooms when someone didn't flush--her body ached with each step. And in her ears were the sounds of hoofbeats, distant. Although that might be her heart beating overtime. Heartbeat, when was the last time she had felt her heartbeat in a dream------? "H-Hello?" Sayuri called out. "Hello?" Louder. Nothing but an echo. Her voice came back with a tinny quality although she felt the thin air pass her throat. This wasn't an overt nightmare she was in. An eerie atmosphere that suggested--she knew--that something even scarier could be turned to in less than a moment. And so the nightmare continued. |

Aleph walked through the ruins, with his saber by his side as always. Granted, he was still somewhat shaken up by the last ruins trip with his sister, Chika, Akio, and Maki. Still, he desired to continue patrolling the ruins for Unawakened for the sake of saving lives as well as face. He ran into some Wolves and a few Mayas near the entrance, but he managed to slash and burn through all of them, taking barely any damage from them. Aleph looked around the ruins as he continued to search for someone when suddenly he heard a voice calling out. Someone was there, and still alive? Yes! "Hello!" Aleph called back. "Don't worry, I'm coming to find you. It'll be okay." Hopefully, no Shadows would reach whoever might be the Unawakened before he did. Regardless, Aleph then started to take off in a run towards the source of the voice, eager to rescue the new person. |

A voice, a female voice. Aki heard someone who was like him in this strange place. A few seconds later, another voice was coming from the same side on the left as the first one. It said he would be there soon, but the young man didn’t really want to see anyone until he was sure they weren’t responsible of this. Aki followed the floor that was leading in their direction, lowering his cap so that nobody could really see his face if they would show up by surprise. “Two people, one guy and one girl if you heard right. I don’t think it would be a problem, you have a gun, ammo and surely the best imitation of a bad guy you can make today.” If they didn’t have any weapons like him, he was in a good position. But the young man didn’t understood why the ravishers did let him a gun full of ammo. His head showed him again that too much thinking hurtled and he nearly let a sound of pain out of him. Sticking next to a corner, he saw a girl far away from his own position. From what he could saw, she had brown hair and.. Didn’t he just saw a little green for a second? Well, unfortunately, he couldn’t really saw more, so he just opened a door next to him to look what was inside. “If one of them comes this way, you can still hide in another room. So you can be sure to have the surprise effect. Or a chance to flee. But you will do just fine.” The room appeared to be empty, except a few parts of tables, chairs and other stuff he couldn’t recognize at the moment. But as he wanted to close it carefully, he took notice of a watch who was just laying here. After a close looks, the young man picked it up and discovered she was still working. But, this spot looked really old, so how this watch found herself in this place? He heard steps’ coming from the direction the girl was and Aki hid next to the door, to look if something would happen that could help him to understand more of this situation. There were voices echoing from far away but distorted and And that sure looked like the fridge over there, Sayuri could always recognize the fridge and--oh, maybe she shouldn't have eaten that before bed. Nightmares from queasily looking foods in the back of the fridge were nothing new uncle Hideyoshi must not have cleaned it out recently-- She had fallen asleep? It must be night--it was dim in these passages but Sayuri realized she had yet to see a window or any scrap of the sky. It felt like night it felt like-- --clopclopclopclopclopclopclop-- "Who was there?" It was very strange, her throat was dry, when was the last time it had been dry in a dream--? There had been the time she thought she'd never fall asleep with the flu. "You're yelling too soft," she said too softly. Which way had the voices--if they existed--come from? In the next room something moved out of the line of vision. She walked into the room. Everything was tilting. Was that her perception or was the room--? |

Aleph ran and ran through the ruins, searching for Unawakened when suddenly he saw something, or someone, in the distance. However, the other presence was too far away to see or recognize. Aleph kept running and running until he could finally see the other person. It was a girl. Not just any girl. It was Sayuri. "Sayuri-san?" Aleph asked. "Hello. Are you okay? Are you hurt?" |

He was clearly hearing them and noticing everything there was to notice. So, the two others knew each other and the girl’s name was Sayuri. It seems he was definitely alone against the others. Aki hated those moments when he couldn’t understand the whole situation, but now, it would depend on his own life. As he wanted to leave this room and run quickly to hide in another one, he heard something or someone rumble. It was so unexpected he felled on the ground. The pain of his head was decreasing, but now, his left shoulder was crying its pain out. Just before he stood up, he saw something that used to be a tee-shirt, a few meters from him. He could swear this wasn’t here before! “If you start to go crazy, you won’t see the good ending of this. No one is here, you can see it, am I right? You still have your bag, your head and your gun, so don’t try to act paranoid. It really doesn’t suit you. Aaaand I have a little advice. Look above you.” In the moment Aki wanted to see if the two others heard him, his eyes wandered just a second at the ceiling. His eyes winked two, three, four times before he started to believe at what he was looking to. This ‘thing’ was watching him, and his mouth spit what looked like.. An arm. This was really too much for Aki, and he started screaming as he runs outside the room, go on the left, leaving the two persons alone. “Well, there goes your surprise effect. So, it seems I have good, bad and other news for you. Right in the corner is a door, go through and we’ll talk. And just one last very good advice: This. Is. Real.” He did as the voice said before slowly realizing. He still thought it was himself thinking all the time, but the voice in his head was a feminine one. What the hell was happening? Now, he really was lost. As they were inside the room, he locked the door, just for the case. Now, he was really curious what she had to say him. He wanted to start talking, but the woman voice started at the same moment. “I know you’re very very curious, but I will try to answer everything you want for a while. I know you very well after all. Well, we’ll start with the bad news. What you saw just a moment ago was a shadow. This thing, as you probably saw it, eat persons. And it has chosen you to be the next meal. Congratulations! Oh, and weapons don’t do so much damage on them, so, you can immediately erase the idea from your head.” Aki thought she was joking first, but she was speaking so seriously and in a neutral way that a shiver ran down his spin. How could he beat this thing then? “-Before you go on with your news, where the hell are you? WHO are you? And why am I hearing you inside my head?” The sound of something more sliding than walking filled his ears. He took his Glock out and aimed for the door, not making any more movement than necessary. “Okay, Honey. We’re doing it your way then. If you were nice enough to take out a mask out of your bag and put it on, it would make things much easier.” She said this in an amused tone, didn’t she? The boy thought he would really go insane with all of this. A mask? Put it on? Was it a sick kind of joke? As he opens his bag, he saw it. How the hell did this appear in there? Aki's logic really was losing now. |

She thought she could smell something. Flowers. Perfume? No-no, either something fresh or plastic. Though fresh flowers shouldn't smell like plastic. What was it, rose? "Sayuri-san?" Was that someone calling for her? Although 'her' was becoming a vague definition at this point. Sayuri felt like her brain was flowing out of her head--her perspective almost outside herself. And the person to come closer-- "I'm sorry Mr. Hunk, I've become all disheveled." She should recognize the person, "--my heart is throbbing," but she couldn't recall the last time she'd seen someone like the cover of bad cheesy romance novel she would deny having read show up at school all proportioned like a teenager such as herself. There was another drawn out scream-- --save the giant, spherical form of something almost wedged in the door. There was a grey boot and half of a pair of overtaxed cheery red and blue overalls. Overalls? Whatever pants plus suspenders meant. Though Sayuri was most entranced by what had to be the largest brightly colored lollipop she had ever seen that the blubbery form had wedged through the doorframe first. |

Aleph blinked at Sayuri as she talked to him. Mr. Hunk? What was this, some sort of cheesy, crappy, beach romance movie from the 80's? Aleph scratched his head. "Umm, Sayuri-san?" Aleph said. "What happened to you? You're not hurt, are you?" The first time anyone has complimented your looks in forever, and you ask what's wrong with her? Adonis, now's not really a good time to be feeding my ego right now. But you could seriously use some confidence boosting right now. The last time I tried to boost my confidence, I got scolded on. Look, Nagashima will always be full of assholes. This girl is one of the only people you could find who isn't an asshole. Akira-kun isn't an asshole. No, but he will be if he doesn't get to know the real you. You're right. I hate first impressions. They put too much pressure on you and the effects are much worse on you if you fuck up at it. But enough side talk! Aleph had a schoolgirl person thing to rescue and rescue her he was going to do. However, before he could do anything dramatic and rescuer-like, he heard someone scream. He looked around for the source and saw a really giant and fat-looking Shadow nearly wedged in the door. With a big lollipop. Well, then. Feeling prepared, Aleph summoned his pink heart mask to his face. Then, he summoned his Persona and casted an Agi on the blubbery-looking Shadow. |

“Honey? I know this is a disturbing or strange or even shocking moment, but you have to calm down, I don’t want you to be eaten alive.” Could he believe this voice? Any scary ideas about what could do this mask emerged out if his head, but what choice did he had? Nearly after asking this question to himself, something knocked on the door. First; it was a light one, as if someone wanted politely to go inside the room. Then, the knocking, with each knock, was louder and louder, cracks appeared on her. Aki knew the door wouldn’t survive any longer and as he looked the mask, which was white and.. Laughing at him? Spreading his suspicions away, he put it on his face. As he sensed the power floating into him, he was pretty convinced that he did the right choice. As his mask removed to turn back and look at him, he calmed himself. “-Well, Neova, is that right? We will have many things to say, and I don’t trust you more than before, but now, tell me how to get out here. Please.” The voice laughed. It was a little delicate sound, and he was happy to hear such one. “I’m your persona Neova, yeah. Just to calm you again, I’m your inner self, so don’t worry about me.” He didn’t even had the time to comprehend correctly what she said. The mask put place on his face again and Aki winked by surprise. As his eyes opened again, a woman was in front of him. First thing he noticed was her blue hairs, something he never tried himself but he found this wonderful. Then, he saw flowers almost everywhere on her. The only thing he didn’t saw was her face, hiding behind an umbrella. “Now, the good news. You have me. Your Persona. Much more will come later, but if you do exactly what I say, we will get this one without damage. Oh, as you know maybe already, I can analyze this things to get their weaknesses. See how nice and good I am?” She really was confided in her actions, a bit too much for Aki’s taste, but he didn’t had the choice than accept her. As the door exploded, a dark thing, with nine arms, entered the room. It was walking slowly inside, visibly taking it’s time to get the young guy. He really wanted his meat as bad, that he did just looking forward and did not see his prey calling his Persona. Aki focused his eyes on the Shadow before he asked Neova to cast a Garu. The wind curled up in her hands before she send it towards the enemy. The moment he turned in Aki’s direction, the wind ball exploded against the thing, sending little waves of wind to him. As the shadow was transported to the other opposite of Aki, he took his move and fled towards the door, getting to the floor he was before. “-I must say thanks it seems. And you’re telling me you can do more than that?” He saw anything, but he was still trying to determine if this was a dream or not. He followed the way and saw again from far away two persons, maybe the guy and the girl before. He wasn’t so scared anymore of them. He now had someone who could help him of his own way. “Analyze, heal and wind. Nice beginning for a young gentleman like yourself.” Was she really flirting with him or was it his imagination? He would have all the time to discuss with her after this adventure. Now, he started to run towards the two strangers. After all, why should they think he’s strong? He just was a boy. With a gun hiding behind his clothes. “-Hey, I think I’m not alone in this crappy place, huh?” If they were the same side as him, he could always use them. But as he saw something like a fireball coming from the direction, he wasn’t very sure of his idea. |
