Alter Ego Appearance (reminder):

It was going to be another one of those nights.

That's when she walked the streets, the slight figure in reds and browns and dark blue, the intense frown on her face when needing to give others a look that suggested they back off. There would be a taser waiting for them if they weren't careful. A bag of materials for mischief and a restless demeanor. That drive to do something, find something enjoyable, to grab as much as possible until the daylight hours and 'normal' life returned.

She probably should get a name at somepoint.

Because, of course, this brown haired girl wasn't going to answer by the name of 'Yuuki Gouriki' to anyone, especially anyone she recognized. It had been a while since such things had happened. Not really in Nagashima, it was bigger than some places she had once lived.

That was the funny thing, names. Who ever really got to pick their own name? A name was something you were given by others all your life.

She paused, leaning on her backpack against the wall of the alley she was cutting through, shoulders tired from the weighted straps. The glow of her MP3 player illuminated her chin. No headphones yet, or maybe she would turn on the external speaker, but currently all she was doing was scrolling through the playlists. A bunch of new stuff. What to play?

There was quite a bit to be on the look out for in the backstreets. Especially if you're a certain type of person. Seiji counted himself amongst them, so it was his intention to get to where he was going in a hurry. He kept his eyes open for all kinds of trouble: From black-hooded murderers to dirty cops to just the normal background noise of crime that happened in the backstreets.

He had in his duffel bag his weapons, ready to draw at a moments notice, and he kept his senses sharp looking for trouble. That included mundane ones and otherwise. So far it was without incident, but he wasn't about to let his guard down until he got right to the training center.

"Oh."

It was enough to give the slight, bespectacled young man pause. She looked about as out of place there in Seiji's opinion as well…he did. And she wasn't a user, so that only added to the mystery of what she was doing there.

He paused where he was and waved, just a little gesture before he prepared to return to what he was doing.

Since no music was playing yet she caught the sound of someone walking up her. Though it wasn't the footsteps she first heard. It was the shuffling rattle of some things, possibly sharp and metallic things, rubbing together. When she looked that direction there was a boy, dumbstruck with just a word. He held a duffle bag with barely identifiable forms within.

Looked to be Taiyoutono but a younger year. Waving like how nervous youngsters approached each other in their first years of school.

He seemed harmless, even given the duffle. "What you up to kid?" she asked, an inquisition of curiosity, just an inch or so taller than him.

His first, knee-jerk instinct was a quick 'nothing' followed by being on his way. But Seiji knew better. Nothing would have attracted undue attention more.

Instead, the slight, bespectacled youth shrugged his shoulders. "I got someplace to be, is all. You?" He couldn't recognize the taller girl, she probably went to another school than Taiyotono. Since she didn't have a Persona, that seemed to confirm it. Every-damn body in that school got one sooner or later, it seemed.

Turning it back around on her hopefully deflected a few questions he wasn't interested in answering.

"Don't we all," she said, glancing towards his bag for a second. Either there was an immediate delivery of gardening tools needed or he had some more dangerous weapons.

"Me, well, I'm open to anything." She half smiled at him, a knowing look to it. It flattened. "There a reason you're giving me the eyeball?" She felt like she was being judged, scrutinized, but of what she couldn't tell. He looked as surprised as anybody is when stumbling across somewhat else in such a spot this time of night.

"Oh, never mind that. You just don't look like the normal person who hangs around here, is all."

He was cautious, yes, of course he was. As far as Seiji was concerned anything out of the ordinary was just another prelude to another pile of trouble being dropped on him. This girl, she didn't look like one of Samurakami's minions. Nor the usual residents. So what? She just wandered into the backstreets for fun, then?

…the things some people do just 'cause they could. "Anyways, what's your name? Sorry, I'm Seiji Fujiwara." This seemed to have officially become a conversation, so he might as well have introduced himself.

Her eyebrows raised. "So people regularly come back here of all places?" She had just been pausing herself but her ears picked on the connotation of his words. "What do they do?"

"Fujiwara, huh." Good name, Fujiwara, very noble. Once considered by her but even for its meanings it still felt a bit common.

She smiled again. "Guess. I'll even give you a hint as to the first romanized letter: I."

"Yeah, they do." As for what they do? He didn't know most of it, he didn't want to know. "I don't really ask, I just stay out of it." He adjusted his glasses and glanced away.

But when she wanted to make the matter of guessing her name a game, he looked back to the taller girl and with a quirked brow gave a total deadpan response. "Isabella of Castile? Well, you certainly look good for your age…" But after that, he gave a serious response. "Ah…Iseya?"

That information was filed away for later. "Yes, and I remarkably don't sound French at all," she said while not sounding French at all. Seji appeared to appeal to history nerd humor.

She paused a moment after hearing his next guess. Iseya. Iseya. The name repeated carried a kind of spark. She had just been joking, trying to stump him earlier but: "You are right on the dot, Seiji-kun. Aren't you amazing."

By this point she had gotten enough of a feel for the kid. Given that he was sneaking around back here too for his own night prowl she doubted he would be mentioning any of his own exploits anytime soon to some authority. She shrugged off her backpack to hold it off to one side.

"So what's in you bag?" Iseya asked. "I'll show you mine if you show me yours."

Wow, he guessed her name right on the first guess. Just what were the odds…?

Probably not as good as this girl just messing with him and just going along with the guess. Yeah, that seemed more likely. He shrugged his shoulders and responded. "Oh yeah, I'm like lightning in a bottle…"

He did tense up when she let down her own bag and suggested he show her the contents of his. "Hmmm? Nah, it's nothing remarkable…"

Well, shit, this was no good. The last thing he wanted was a rumor getting out he was a bag boy for some rival outfit than Samurakami's. One green-haired Osakan in his life was probably more than enough, forget about the one that's in bed with the Yakuza or murdered her ex-girlfriend.

…at least that's how the rumors went. Despite rejecting them off-hand normally when it was something that could have affected him directly he felt obligated to keep abreast of that sort of gossip.
