Just had to kill the shadow now. Let Ito hit him afterward, kill it now, get what you deserve after. He still swung his mace at the thing, over and over again. Infusing the final swing with a Bash.

Kill it now, get what you deserve after.

Rather than respond to any of what the others said or did. He just attacked, and attacked, and attacked.

Aleph looked at Hanako, then at Jiro. The good news was that she was alright, but the bad news was the she wasn't happy. Particularly, because of Aleph's slip-up with his Maragi. Blindness and stupidity. Two insults worked into one simple admonishment, even if Hanako probably didn't intend for it to be like that.

Can these people, like, not make you feel any more stupid than you already are feeling like right now? Like, just can they not?

Adonis was right. Aleph was already feeling stupid as usual for his past mistakes, for he had yet to move on completely. The failed attempts at friendships, then making a fool of himself, then leaving someone for dead by mistake, and now setting people on fire. None of those facts did anything to improve Aleph's mood.

What's wrong with setting people on fire? At least those two knew briefly what it's like to be you most of the time.

Regardless, Aleph had to keep fighting. Now that that mess was over, Aleph turned to the Shadow that Jiro was fighting. Carefully aiming at the Shadow so as to not hit anything else, Aleph summoned his Persona and fired an Agi.

Rozen summoned Brighid to incinerate another Maya with an Agi shot, as she turned to regard Jiro's antics. "Takenaka, get a damned handle on your emotions." She barked. "You need to be rational and calm in combat. Letting your emotions take the handle is only going to get you killed." She paused as she looked over to Ito, non-verbally asking if she wanted more healing, before looking back to Jiro. "You may be immune to physical damage, but these things don't just do that."

The surviving Maya really never had a chance. It was reduced to sludge almost at once, everything else was overkill.

"Yeah, yeah, let's just call it a day." She did have to drive back home now, which required her to at least be in good enough shape to do that. Considering the amount of blood she'd lost, it was likely a good idea to get back to town, get herself a nice long hot bath and crawl into bed while she was still lucid enough to do all of those things.

"I don't have anything more to say, if that's done? The exit's back this way." She wasn't even upset anymore, but it was easy to sound that way without meaning it when one was very tired. Her voice was flat and without inflection and she turned sharply and headed towards the exit, her main consideration was getting there and keeping an eye out so she didn't get waylaid along the way out.

He turned around, walking at a fast enough pace to catch up to and keep up with Ito. Never fast enough to bypass her though. He'd rather not have to repeat himself with what he was about to say, and he'd definitely prefer that neither Rozen nor Aleph overheard them.

"I--Ito-san. I....well, I want you to hit me when we get out. I fucked up an-and you got hurt. So...I know just saying i'm sorry is a load of shit. I...I know I Null Physical or whatever, but I....i'm weak to fire and wind. So just...hit me with one of those if you've got one. If you don't have either of those just...hit me with the strongest thing you've got okay? I deserve it."

Gone was the boisterous confidence and the false bravado. In it's place was a meek, timid 16 year old trying to genuinely apologize to a girl. This was definitely not the Jiro Takenaka she'd met on the roof. Nor was it the Jiro Takenaka that had lead them in here. To be perfectly frank, this was the first time he'd actually shown his true self to anyone except for Naoya.

Aleph sighed as the Maya was killed. However, he still had to deal with other things, like his friends for instance. Aleph looked over to see that Hanako and Jiro were leaving, so he went and followed after them. He wanted to make sure Jiro wasn't still mad about the whole fiasco.

"Hey, umm, Jiro-kun..." Aleph said, trying to apologize. "I just wanna, ya know, apologize for, like, fucking up back there, ya know? I fucked up, and I wanna apologize, dude. I'm sorry."

Rozen waited for Jiro and Hanako to finish their little discussion, when she pipped up.

"Oh, Ito," she said, "can you give me a drive?" She asked. Still not having a reliable means of transit herself.

"You want to make this up to me? Huh?" She sighed and put a palm to her forehead. "No amount of hollow gestures like smacking you around is going to matter as much as not fucking up again next time. Okay? That's all I'll ask for, and that's all I'll accept for this. No stop this, just…it's fine, okay, I'm not mad and I'll be okay so just relax and be more careful in the future, that's…"

Well, there wasn't more to say to it than that. She certainly wasn't going to make this into a ridiculous macho bonding ritual. Her attention turned to Rozen at her request. "Hmm? Oh, sure, of course, that'd be no problem, Rozen-san."

Jiro was really torn up by it. But it was going to be okay, wounded pride healed, didn't it?
