Aleph stayed focused as the battle continued. The Clockwork Soldiers seemed to be weak to fire, so that would be helpful now. Of course, they started charging at Aleph and Hanako.

Aleph didn't notice Jiro's weird giggling. Mainly, all he could care about was making sure those Soldiers exploded. Aleph summoned Adonis and casted a Maragi to try and stop the charging Soldiers.

Rozen looked over as a Balloon let loose an ice spell at her. She felt it before she saw it. Cold, biting cold. Ungodly cold! Raising both arms across in front of her in a futile effort to protect herself, as her legs were encased in a block, which then shattered. The force knocking the teacher off her feet and slamming her back into the nearest wall, where she slid down to the floor.

"GAH!" She cried, from both the spell and the impact.

For the moment, she had forgotten the tactical plan. She'd placed enemies that could render them silent on a higher priority than the others. The Maragi thrown, and Rozen being attacked by a Shadow she should have kept occupied were enough to get her back on track.

She answered with a hand motion in acknowledgement of Jiro's reprimand as she moved to pounce on one of the balloon-like Shadows instead. She couldn't even apologize for her misstep. Barely a week back into these ruins and she'd already began to be a burden. Breaking sound tactical formations, and she couldn't even use her Persona at the moment.

Still she hopped to make up for it with a rather vigorous attack on the chilling spook consisting of several quick but burtal jabs aimed at it's 'head' with her sharp knife.

As it was, the Maragi effectively stopped the Soldiers from any further advancement and knocked them backward. The offered a counter in the form of Muzzle Shots aimed at Aleph. The balloons however, busied themselves in attacking Hanako and Jiro, firing Single Shots. Jiro continued his giggling as he shrugged the attack off and once again struck the balloon with his mace. Hanako's jabs likewise landed effectively. He didn't know why he was giggling, but something was absolutely hilarious.

Aleph smirked in triumph as the Maragi effectively knock back the Soldiers, however he immediately felt two shots hit him square in the face. He stumbled backwards, almost falling backwards. However, when he opened his mouth to elicit a cry of pain....no sound came out.

What?

Aleph stood for a moment, shocked. He tried to speak. Nothing. He tried to shout and yell. Nothing. He threw out his arms and tried to scream. Not a single sound came out. And to add insult to injury, Adonis wasn't talking at all either. Feeling angry, Aleph tried to fire an Agi....only for his hand to fizzle out with a stream of smoke. Nothing. Aleph jumped up and down, flailing his arms about impudently.

Then, he gave up. This was getting stupid. He also noticed that Jiro was giggling for some reason. What was so funny? Aleph couldn't talk, though. So, he pulled out his saber and charged at one of the Soldiers, aiming a slash at it.

Rozen groaned as she got back to her feet. One hand resting on the wall to steady her.

"That... really hurt." She thought.
"Naturally," Brighid said in her mind. "We are immune to the powers of flames and carry heightened resistance to the light of heaven." She continued. "Naturally that means we suffer a deficiency against fire's natural opposite, Ice and water magics as well as daemonic energies."

Rozen shook her head. "One of you three could have told me this before." She mentally grumbled. "You didn't ask."

Conjuring her mask, Rozen summoned the aspect of Brighid that embodied the arts and medicine. The blue cloaked, lyre carrying aspect then healed her with a dia. Repairing most of the damage she received, Rozen raised her taser and stood ready.

What was happening. She couldn't even hear her own heart beat. It made it a bit easier to think clearly. She kept her guard up and shifted for a better position to attack the Shadow again.

But Jiro was giggling, and she didn't know why. She waved to Rozen, the only one of them who could probably do something, and motioned to Jiro. Without her Persona, she was best off trying to finish off the Shadow, which she tried, with another quick bursts of controlled stabs.

Jiro's giggling started to transform into full blown manic laughter as he began to raise his mace and start bashing the balloon over and over. Hanako's stabs once again connected. causing it to dissapate. Meanwhile, Aleph's attack connected to one of the soldiers. Which lead the other to fire a Muzzle Shot at him. None of this mattered to Jiro though, all that mattered was that something was absolutely hilarious and killing this shadow.

Aleph felt yet another shot to the face. Why did they keep aiming for his face? Aleph rubbed his face. What could he possibly do without Adonis to protect him? Shit, he really should have thought about this. Also, Jiro was laughing now, and Aleph still didn't know why.

Aleph raised his saber and charged at the Soldier that shot him, aiming a stab at its chest.

Rozen glanced aside and noticed Hanako making hand motions. First, waving. Most likely to get her attention. Then, she pointed to Jiro, who was giggling like a lunatic. Rozen quirked a brow.

"Eh?" She thought.
"Your friend is probably asking us to heal his mental ailment." Brighid said.
"You can do that now?" Rozen thought.
"Yes."

Summoning her mask, Rozen looked over to Jiro, and mentally thought 'heal his mind' as opposed to 'heal his wounds,' And Brighid spun in the air, till the blue tunic faced Jiro, with a soundless strum, it let out a wave of status restorative magic focused on Jiro.
