Holy hell! For once the only people on the roof were Seiji and Suzu. That wasn't just good luck, that was a statistical impossibility. The view was nice that day. It was after school, on a day with no clubs, and that meant mid-afternoon. Blue skies and a nice skyline.

"So…this is really nice, isn't it? Just you and me?" He looked over from the bench he sat at and dared a rare smile. He wasn't expecting a thing except to enjoy her company. Maybe take the moment to forget all the crazy shit he'd managed to find himself involved in.

It wasn't like he'd just jinxed that and now several people were going to show up, was it? Nah, Fate doesn't have that mean a sense of humor, does she?

Miyo had a lot on her mind. Discovering her new abilities, the secret abandoned underground lab/dungeon, finding out that other students had the same type of power...

The fact you have a voice in your head that's not your own...

"Yeah, that too..." She muttered quietly. She needed somewhere without many distractions to think about everything and to start making decisions on how to use this new power as well as keeping it hidden, and seeing how nice of a day it was today she decided to go to the roof of the school. Clear skies help to clear the mind, after all.

Because Miyo was so deep in her thoughts she didn't even think twice about the door to the roof being unlocked. It was only when she saw the two other students that she snapped back to reality and her shyness took over.

"I-I'm so sorry! I didn't mean to intrude, honestly, I thought they'd be no-one here..." She bowed slightly in apology. As she raised her head she noticed that the boy looked familiar...

"Fujiwara-san? Y-yes, it is you. I'm really sorry... I-I'll just..."

She quickly and quietly moved to the edge of the roof, sitting on the floor and leaving the two by themselves. They wouldn't mind just one extra person on the rooftop, right?

A beautiful sky, beautiful fall weather and a beautiful day with friends. This is exactly what Akira needed to relax. So much changing all the time. If it wasn't some ridiculous situation with shadows, it was a more ridiculous situation with social life.

Akira walked ontop the rooftop. Before he entered he gave a confused glance noticing it wasn't locked off. "It's Nagashima, why am I surprised" he muttered outloud.

Akira stretched as he reached the rooftop and looked over to see his friends. He put on a half-smile and approached, repressing any un-appealing thoughts and focusing on having a wonderful time.

"Hello everyone" he yawned, reaching one hand to cover his mouth - his black jacket sleeve covering most of his hand.

He noticed Miyo was there along with Seiji and Suzu. "Miyo" he looked at her, nodding with a smile. Akira's intent was to make the shy female feel less awkward, though the actual result...

They were alone.

Oh crap, They were alone. Alonealonealonealonealone.

You, blushing like a little girl... This is priceless.

'Shut up!' Suzu hissed mentally at her giggling Persona. How troublesome...

Alone in the rooftop at school. Her thoughts were mirroring Seiji's - how in the name of fuck was that even possible? It only contributed to make her more nervous. It felt like... like... like that date they were supposed to go on.

Oh god.

"D-Don't try to do anything funny now that we're alone..." Suzu huffed with a very faint red tint on her cheeks, sitting down next to the boy and looking down at her feet. Why did she feel so shy whenever this sort of thing happened?

Because you totally want something funny to happen~~~

"Eh?" She looked up to see two people she knew walk into the roof - Miyo and Akira. For a moment, she felt actually rather relieved. "Oh, it's anime chick and Tantei-san." She said blandly, having ran out of nicknames in her state.

"Takaki-ch...san, where are you?" In the meantime, a certain third year student walked up to the roof, after having pretty much ran through the entire campus, looking for the redhead in question. She always had the talent to find him, but that particular day, she just went missing, which was odd.

"Oh, there you are!"

Other than relief, Suzu felt disappointment rising within, though she couldn't pinpoint why.

"Nothing funny?" Seiji said with a grin he mostly only reserved for…Suzu. "Okay, so I won't try to tell any stand-up, but mind if we just hold hands, or something?"

Ah, but no, beyond that his attention was turned to the newcomers. He tried not to look so disappointed as he smiled and waved. "Hello everyone." There was something new. Surely it was as obvious to Suzu as well. "Ah. heyas Tsuchiya-san. Looks like- ah, I'll ask you about it later, okay"

Damn, if it weren't for Yuki, they could have just talked about it openly, couldn't they? He almost didn't catch his presence in time and said more than he should have. As it was now he'd just have to maybe talk to Miyo about the Persona-related things at a different date.

Miyo watched Akira step out onto the roof and greet everyone. She was a bit confused as to why he had singled her out, but she gave a shy smile and nodded back before her eyes focused on the floor and she brushed the fringe out of her eyes, only for it to fall back where it was. This is awkward...

As Suzu spoke, Miyo realised she had in fact met her before. She was actually rather surprised in herself; how could she forget that red hair?

"A-anime chick? ... Oh, right. Hi Suzu-chan." It seemed the only reason people remembered her was because of her unusual hair colour. Well, at least she was getting noticed.

Looks like...? Looks like what? Miyo was left to wonder to what Seiji was going to say to her as a student she did not recognise walked onto the roof. Because she didn't know him, she didn't bother saying hello, instead looking at the view she could see from the roof's edge. Which, granted, in a city like Nagashima wasn't the best, but it was something to distract her.

He heard a bit of Suzu and Seiji's conversation, but not enough to know what was going on - nor did he find it important (or any of his business) to know.

"Tantei-san?" and the nickname machine had rebooted. Perhaps it will blue screen...

He titled his head slightly 'looks like...?' However Akira quickly got the point. Seiji was a scanner after all.

Seems we have another user.

'Yes, indeed.'

Upon Seiji's request, said hand tightened on reflex. Sure, Suzu would love to hold his hand - not that she'd ever admit it. She let the question die with the newcomers' entrance, too embarrassed to utter a response.

"I've been looking all over for you." Said Yuki while approaching them, after throwing a smile at the others. "You usually go and find me all the time, so I found it odd that you didn't know where I was today..." Really, how did she find him one hundred percent of the time? "I guess I was mistaken, sorry for interrupting your date."

"D-D-D..." She gave a side glance at Seiji. How did Yuki even know? Did Seiji tell him? "Anyway...!"

For once, Suzu found herself at a loss of words. The whole situation was highly foreign to her. But salvation came once Seiji spoke. She glanced at Miyo, indeed confirming she had a persona.

"...Of course she does..."

"Eh? What?" Yuki couldn't help but feel somewhat left out. Were they having some weird mental conversation or something...?

Eh, he was close, but still there was a gulf between them, and it was represented by a a mere few inches. It wasn't a big shocker that Suzu had nicknames for them, she had nicknames for everybody, they were usually things they didn't want in the first place.

When she looked to him like Seiji had told Yuki something, he just shrugged. They had discussed things briefly but well…you know? He actually told him everything he needed to know to guess that. Still, it wasn't like he was bragging or something, it came up organically. He glanced away and covered his mouth with his fist as he coughed.

"So, um…how's everyone doing today?"

He hoped they were doing well, at least. Still, they have just rotten timing. Just the worst…

Miyo wasn't paying much attention to the unfamiliar student, instead still looking out at the view, but one word did go through to her.

D-date? I interrupted a date! Oh no, I feel so bad now...

"How am I doing? I'm..."
Trying to cope with having a magical being in my head and having magical powers to fight against weird shadowy creatures with other teenage students who were brought into an underground lab under the city by a golden butterfly.
"... Fine." Miyo forced a smile, ignoring her Persona's comment.
