So, Sio entered the ruins after she finished with her preparation. She wore the clothes that were suitable for doing this kind of activity, and she wouldn't feel bad if she ruined it. She carried a backpack with her, which contained a few rolls of bandages, painkillers and a little rations. She figured out that most Persona-users used weapons, so she brought along a wooden staff with her. That stuff was heavy, but she thought that it would do it for now before she could get a proper weapon later.

After entering the ruins, she could feel the oppressive air in the area. She knew that it was a nest of the monsters called Shadows. She knew that it was dangerous to stay there for a long time, but she thought that she would go around the place near the exit so she could get out in case anything dangerous came out. She also learned that she could find weaker Shadows around this area, and fighting them might allow her to grow stronger.

She conjured her mask and put it on her face. The air above her shimmered a bit. Her Persona, Mnemosyne was already there, just didn't show up just yet. Holding her wooden staff with both hands, she went around to find some Shadows to fight.

Daichi was for lack of a better term, upset. He could find nobody to go to the ruins with him, not that he had asked many people. He had been going to contact Seiji, but no. Daichi was more upset with him than he could deal with right now.

Not friends with him. Just a reminder to never let your guard down.

So he made his way, abandoning the duffle bag in a bush as he withdrew his kampilan from it. He entered the ruins and summoned his mask. Quickly placing it on. Walking through, he did not see anything at first. At a second glance, he could see the vague form of a person...or what appeared to be a person a distance a way. Not wanting to attract much attention he whistled a low tune, hoping the person would turn around.

As Sio walked, she heard someone whistling. She stopped walking and turned around, and she saw a figure of a... boy, probably walking towards her. The young novelist was thinking what to do, whether to continue walking or go to see this... person or something.

And then, she decided to wait until the person went closer to her.

Daichi slowly approached the figure. He had heard there were shadows that looked like people, and he didn't want to take any chances.

"Friendly?"

He spoke in a hushed tone. If it was a person, he didn't want to be loud and possibly attract shadows. If it was a shadow, hopefully it didn't have the cognitive functions to work out where he was.

"I suppose," Sio replied to the boy after hearing him talk as she nodded. The boy probably was trying to confirm whether she was a Shadow or not. She had read several entries in Bedlam telling that there were several Shadows, some of them were powerful, were humanoid in shapes.

Still holding her wooden stick with both hands, she looked at the boy, curious. "Hello..." she greeted the boy with her usual unenthusiastic, robotic tone.

"You seem to have a grasp on the situation."

He made his way over to the person.

"I'm going to guess you've already been made aware of everything? Are you in need of someone to train with you?"

He spoke with a flat tone.

Never let your guard down.

"Usually it is better to come with at least two more people, at minimum. Though I myself could not get into contact with anyone. I suppose we are both lucky."

He didn't take the time to introduce himself, he wasn't going to if the person in front of him did not introduce themselves.

Sio nodded as she heard that from the boy. But then, she frowned when he didn't introduce himself. He should introduce himself if he wanted to present himself as someone who could be trusted.

"What's your name?" she asked.

Daichi frowned, not that the girl would be able to see it behind his mask.

"I could ask you the same."

He had made up his mind, there was no way he was giving his name first.

"..." crossing her arms, Sio frowned. "...be a gentleman..." she told the boy. It was rude for a boy to tell a girl to introduce herself first. "Your name. Tell me..." she said.

Sio sighed. She had a feeling this boy would be a pain in the butt.

Daichi let out an exasperated sigh. The girls tone was beginning to bother him, and the lack of a please wasn't helping.

"Just call me Nakamura."

He began to close the remaining distance, slowly to show a peaceful purpose.

"Daichi Nakamura. You will have to forgive my rudeness...my mind is elsewhere. I promise that it will not interfere if we train together."
