Subaru entered Kinzaki's bedroom while bringing her dinner. "Ojou-sama, it's dinnertime..." she spoke to the heiress who was sitting on her bed. The ginger-haired butler noticed that Kinzaki was still holding the ribbon that used to be worn by her pet piglet, Napoleon. The butler thought that she needed to say something in order to comfort her, but she was unable to come up with anything. "..." Kinzaki turned to look at Subaru before she smiled weakly. "...I'm not hungry..." she said. Her voice seemed to lack energy in it. Subaru was afraid that she might not be able to recover from the trauma that was caused by Reina Kirihara a few days ago. Speaking of Reina Kirihara, Subaru couldn't forgive her for doing such a despicable thing, and she also couldn't forgive herself for allowing such thing to happen. "...Have you contacted Alex-chan?" Subaru looked at Kinzaki for a while. She knew that Kinzaki was referring to a certain Russian in hiding, Aleksandria Fyodor who used a pseudonym, Alexis Kriemgund. Despite her disapproval towards their relationship, Subaru had no choice but to try to contact that Russian girl in order to inform her about the recent event. But no matter how many times she tried, she was unable to reach her. "Please forgive me, Ojou-sama. It seems that Alexis-sama is... unavailable at the moment. No matter how much I tried, she was... unreachable." "...I see..." Kinzaki mused, looking down. "Is there anything else you want from me, Ojou-sama?" Subaru asked. "...Subaru-kun... do you love me?" Kinzaki asked suddenly, much to Subaru's surprise. The heiress was able to see Subaru's reaction to her question. "T-that's...!" Subaru tried to retain her composure as she struggled to come up with a response to Kinzaki's question. "...I... I cannot answer that, Ojou-sama. T-that's not a question that I am allowed to answer," she said, slightly blushing. "...So, do you hate me?" Kinzaki asked. "I-it's not like that...!" Subaru protested. "I-I mean... uh..." this time, her face was red. "...t-this is not right, Ojou-sama. T-there's no way I can answer that..." "Just give me an answer, Subaru-kun," Kinzaki insisted, giving Subaru a pleading look. "Do you love me? Or do you hate me? Just choose between the two..." "Uh..." looking away in embarrassment, Subaru tried to come up with an answer. At first, she thought that she should try to answer Kinzaki's question with a vague answer, but after seeing Kinzaki's look, she had no choice but to choose one of the two choices. "...I... I like you... I guess..." "Like..." Kinzaki mused. "S-so, if there is nothing else, I shall get going now. If you need something, just call for m-mmhhphh!" before she could finish her words, suddenly Kinzaki got up and grabbed her shoulders before she forcefully pressed her lips against her. "Mmmphhh!" and then, Kinzaki pushed Subaru onto the bed. "O-Ojou-sama!? W-what in the world are you doing?!" Subaru exclaimed. "Subaru-kun likes me, right?" Kinzaki said before she giggled. Then, she undid her obi sash, causing her kimono to loosen. "So... Subaru-kun can help me to heal my soul, right?" she said before she went to the bed and positioned herself on top of the butler. Subaru tried to push the heiress away, but due to some reasons, she was unable to do that. She might end up hurting Kinzaki if she did that. "...We're both girls, right? There's nothing wrong with you comforting me, right?" Kinzaki was panting heavily before she slowly moved her hand towards Subaru's cravat and started undoing it. "Please, Subaru-kun. Tonight... my body is yours..." "O-Ojou-sama..." Subaru was panicking. She didn't know what to do. If there's one thing she knew, it's that Kinzaki wasn't in her right mind right now. Then, Kinzaki rested her head against Subaru's chest. Gulping, Subaru touched Kinzaki's head before she noticed that Kinzaki didn't respond to her touch. Then, she realized that the heiress had fallen asleep while resting her head against her chest. "...fu..." "...Ojou-sama..." Subaru blinked in confusion for a moment before she sighed. Sometimes, she didn't understand her mistress at all. Perhaps she was so desperate to alleviate the pain that she got from the trauma by asking her to 'comfort' her. Subaru knew that it wasn't right, and both of them are girls. Even if Kinzaki's preference was a little different compared to her, she knew that it wasn't right for them to do this. "Sheesh... what a troublesome mistress you are, Ojou-sama..." she muttered. In the end, Subaru stayed in Kinzaki's room to watch over her for the whole night. |
