Aleph just stared at Jiro, Machi, and Hanako as the whole conversation continued. And Sayuri left, obviously having been overwhelmed by the sheer weirdness of everyone else. God fucking dammit! We were getting along good with her. Fucking Machi, that bitch. It's her fault for being so damn cold. It's okay, Adonis. I'm not gonna feel too bad about it. I mean, really, it could've been worse. Well...okay. You're right. But I'm still pissed at that Machi bitch for how she acted to you after the Beetle Hunt and shit. Yes, yes, Adonis. The Beetle Hunt was indeed a real bugfuck catastrophe. Now let's stop talking about it and go save Jiro-kun! Hell yeah! Protecting our bros, bitches. And thus, Aleph got up from his seat on the roof and walked over to where Jiro, Hanako, and Machi were. He then, deciding to establish some peace before the whole thing went off the rails and into the river, calmly placed his hand on Jiro's shoulder and smiled. "Hey, Jiro-kun." Aleph asked, smiling. "Why don't you and I go to Tanjiro and play some arcade games after school? Won't that be fun?" |

Machi let out a small chuckle at Hanako's counter as well, deciding to let the mini teasing session die right there, before it dragged on too far and alienated the others. Though, it certainly did cheer her up; and Hanako seemed to have recovered from the earlier melancholy. "Leaving? That wouldn't be appropriate..." Machi replied in a low tone. It would be extremely rude of them to leave mid-conversation; even more so when someone was directly approaching them like that, wanting to strike up a topic. Besides, she couldn't help but find Jiro to be oddly... interesting. Why...? Mixed with that sense of wonder, she had a bad feeling in general, though was unable to pinpoint what it was exactly, and why. Only one way to find out! "That's quite alright, Takenaka-san. Lunch hour is not over yet, so, I'm willing to spare some time." Her own phrase reminded her that she hadn't finished her food. And thus, she attacked the home made meal with gusto, taking long pauses between ingesting the meal so to speak up when necessary. "That nickname you mentioned before... A redheaded girl didn't give you such by any chance, did she?" There was a strong hunch within that told Machi such was the case. |

A lot had happened quick. [Totally not because this user missed a post cycle, nope, why would you possibly think that?] Jiro had seemed to move on to his next prey...and as much as Akira wanted to facepalm then and there and he stopped himself. The next notable event was Sayuri leaving... 'What awkward tension...' he could almost feel the stereotypical anime sweat drop going down his forehead. Jiro then retorted, which of course Akira did not take a word of. In fact it literately translated to '<insert lie here>' in his head... There was a question from Aleph. "Uhm...no, not really. Kendo is it, I do have more free time as of late...but frankly that has just turned to...laziness" heavy ambiguity on the word laziness, the real translation was he was too busy attacking shadows. Machi and Aleph weren't nearly on friendly terms. And now Aleph was approaching on the very unfriendly Jiro? Before Akira knew it EVERYTHING was falling apart. 'Or not...it seems that we are staying? Hm...' Akira as nice as he was, couldn't help but mentally go 'I wonder in what interesting way this is all going to implode...' Akira simply crossed his legs, put a hand under his the right side of his face...and watched. While eating his food of course. |

"Yep, that's the one! Something Takaki. Don't know her first name. Then there was that uh...Ishinomori dude. Poor guy was getting dragged around by the ear. So then I guess we went and bought presents for some friend of theirs? Don't know what that deal was all about, some girl I guess." Jiro shrugged, and let out a small grin. Takaki hadn't been the most pleasant of company, but she and Ishinomori had definitely sated his boredom while he had been with them. So he supposed the two of them were good for something. Not a whole lot, but they were definitely entertaining. That was when Aleph walked up and ever so casually decided to put his hand on his shoulder. "Yeah dude, maybe later. Can't you see i'm talking to Senpai?" With that he brushed the boy's hand off his shoulder with his own. The grin never leaving his face. His attention quickly went back to Machi. Just having a pleasant conversation was a nice change of pace. "But yeah, Takaki. Why do you know her or something?" |

"Mmm, I guess not…" There was probably some old cliche in Kyoto that people from Edo (she was sure they still insisted on calling Tokyo just that) had absolutely no manners at all, and Hanako herself did nothing to dispel that cliche. But still, she got restless, and Jiro's impression on her didn't impress her any more either. But above all that? More than anything? Well, she declared it as she stood up. "I'm actually worried about Ueda-san. I'm going to check and make sure she's okay?" Who knows if she'd actually have found the other girl? Still, it seemed preferable than sticking around the roof that day. "Good seeing everyone again!" With that? She was off, back down into the building proper. ((OOC: Exittag)) |

Aleph's left eye twitched with irritation as his hand was brushed off dismissively by Jiro. Sure, it was understandable that someone wouldn't exactly feel comfortable spending time with Aleph. He could live with that. But his own best friend, brushing him away and blowing him off like a little house fly, for someone that he clearly wasn't able to get along with...well, who was Aleph to let something like that go unpunished? What...the...fuck? Did he just...blow you off...for her? That did not just happen. That fucking two-timing bastard. Of all the things that Aleph wanted to do today, he now wanted to punch someone in the face. He wanted to punch Jiro in the face, but then he remembered that Jiro was immune to physical attacks, so punching him would be pointless, not to mention earn even more ire from Machi. He couldn't punch Machi in the face, because that would give Jiro reason to punch Aleph in the face. He couldn't punch Hanako in the face, because Hanako left. Also, nobody in hell would dare punch Hanako. And he couldn't punch Akira in the face because, well, Aleph forgot about Akira once more. So, instead of doing any face-punching whatsoever, Aleph decided he had to act tough and bear with it, lest it came back to bite him in the ass later on. "Oh...uhh...okay, then, Jiro-kun. I understand. Sorry about that." Aleph said politely, trying not to sound irritated. Really, the fact that he now had no-one to spend the day with nearly broke his heart. "I'll see you, I guess. Bye, Jiro-kun. Bye, Senpai." Great, now thanks to the playboy of friendships, who're you gonna spend the day with? Shizuka ain't here, Machi hates you, Jiro the Cassanova sure doesn't want to be with you. Who? Seiji, with his glasses and his utter seriousness? Or that Akira kid you keep forgetting about? Who? So, with nobody to spend time with(he still forgot that Akira was still there), he decided to go off and bother someone else. Maybe Kyo. With that, Aleph walked to the access door and back downstairs. |

"Yes, it's Suzu-chan, alright. My apologies on her behalf for such a derogatory nickname, though she does display the tendency to do that to everyone, myself included." Machi spoke with an apologetic smile. "She's a close friend of mine, if a tad... unrestrained." Bribery worked wonders. "Alright, Hana-chan. I'll see you in class." She waved to her best friend as she departed, and gave a nod in acknowledgement towards Aleph as well. Finally, as they were left alone (sans Akira), Machi found a good way to prolong their conversation. "I hope she didn't give you much trouble in your meeting?" |

He was a bit surprised...as well as...maybe relieved. Aleph had...walked away, seemingly after trying to start a conversation. Akira found this action odd, but dismissed it as a case of being Aleph. Akira took this time to part as well. All that was left was Jiro and Machi. And while he knew Machi. Jiro's tone and attitude towards him thus far was not inviting. "Well, I am parting as well. Later, Machi-san!" And hopefully Jiro would not find him not addressing him rude, he was more doing it not to create tension rather than the inverse...but the result is uncertain. "Nah, not really. But you know what senpai? I'm gonna take off." With that, Jiro was speeding off to do various delinquent things, and be a smug asshole while doing so. |
