"Oh, h-hello," Sayuri said to yet another person that was introduced to her from Aleph. She itched the back of her neck. For thinking the roof might have been more empty given the weather she was surprised to the influx of people, from the group busy at their own business across the way to those surrounding her. She had another bite of lunch, feeling self conscious--as if the roof had become a restrictive and oppressive space instead of being open to the sky. Was she feeling warm from the proximity to all the people or just her own body temperature rising from nerves. At times like this Sayuri retreated to not saying much. |

'Jiro Takenaka... Why do I feel like this is a name I will regret learning...' His attitude really peeved Akira, but he let it go. No reason to start anything. He simply replied "committed, it would be rather sad if I could not remember a single name. Akira Ito, nice to meet you" ...or not so nice, whichever it was. Soon Aleph sent an introduction his way. "Nice to meet you, Ueda-San" he waved to her with a light smile. "A nice person...? U-umm, I suppose so, I don't really know her quite well yet" He turned to the last unfamiliar face, Sayuri. "I don't believe we have met either, i'm Akira Ito...if you didn't hear it from the last introduction. Yourself?" Akira's voice was noticeably soft and quiet, one would think he was playing it up who did not know it was natural. There was also that...rather annoying tone of cynicism laced in his voice, which he swore was an accident. |

Machi sighed a little when reason seemed to do its job with Hanako. The blonde placed a hand very lightly on her shoulder, and her lips formed up a cheerful smile, in helps of bringing up her best friend's spirits. "If you need anything, tell me, alright? I'll be happy to visit you whenever." In a heartbeat, without a sliver of hesitation. In the meantime, Machi could almost feel in her very bones the awkwardness and tension coming from the other group, a little ways away from them. You could cut said tension with a knife. Without turning her head, her gaze fell upon them, out of pure curiosity. "Ueda-san seems troubled..." She muttered for Hanako to hear, in mild concern. "Should we help her?" |

Bored, bored bored bored! Jiro was bored out of his mind! None of these people were even entertaining to talk to anymore! What, who else could he possibly talk to? Let's see...he could stay right where he was and be bored out of his mind. He could leave, and probably be bored out of his mind. Or...he could go talk to the pretty blonde girl over there. What would Aniki do in this situation? He'd probably just march right over there and start talking to her. Of course, then there was the white haired girl as well. He just plain wasn't interested in her though. "Well if you'll excuse me..." At that, he got up and walked over to the two girls. A slight grin tugging at one side of his face. "Sorry about that senpai. Get nervous in large crowds. Let me reintroduce myself..." He bowed again. This time, in a sincere manner. It was alright for him to let tiny little flickers of himself through at times. The justification being trying to impress pretty girls. "Jiro Takenaka, pleased to meet you. Call me what you like though. Some seem to prefer yankii wannabe!" Always good to open with some humor, right? |

She brightened up at once. At least Machi was still there for her. She was very lucky to have her as a friend. "Yeah, I know. Thanks for sticking with me with all of this, Machi." At the question, she nodded. "Sure, she seems kind of uncomfortable. Perhaps she doesn't do well with big groups?" Someone should have warned her how many people go to the roof, if that was the case. Her view of Saiyuri was obstructed suddenly by a bleach blonde tryhard though. He reaction when she heard just what he was saying was pretty dramatic, she covered her mouth in a vain attempt to suppress the giggling. "Oh my god…are you hitting on Machi-chan now?" That was almost adorable! …almost, but not quite! |

Aleph smiled. Everything seemed to be going well so far. Akira didn't look like he wanted to flee from Aleph, and Machi and Hanako were doing their own thing. Though, as much as enthusiastic as Aleph was about the whole thing, Sayuri seemed less so. "Something wrong, Sayuri-san?" Aleph said, then turned to Akira. "Are you in any clubs, Akira-san? Well, aside from Kendo, probably." Because Aleph had a bad tendency to ask for the obvious. It was pretty stupid and annoying, he had to admi--wait, what was Jiro doing? Holy shit, dude. Is he serious? He's actually hitting on her? Let him try to please her. It's best that Jiro learns for himself just how much of a wretched wretch Machi is. All Aleph could think about the whole thing was this: Jiro-kun's screwed. |

"N-Nice to meet you tooo," Sayuri felt her face redden and tingle with every word. The lid of her lunchbox didn't want to fit right for the first few seconds she tried to put it back on. "I--um, had something still to do." A pathetic excuse but Sayuri had no way of voicing how uncomfortable she got in the scrutiny of crowds. If she found someplace more quiet she might have the time to finish lunch. {Sayuri exits} |

[OOC: Scar left, so we're skipping him] Machi blinked in surprise as, just like Hanako, she had her field of vision blocked by none other than Jiro Takenaka. Not much later, she noticed Sayuri left. Mission failed. That was disappointing. She was hoping to help the girl leave; in the end, they just had scared her away. The blonde made a mental note to sincerely apologize to her later on, as their behavior was not excusable by any means. But first, she had to make the most out of the current situation. "Nice to meet you, Takenaka-san." Machi ultimately decided to respond, despite previous impressions. She did not have any hard evidence against the boy, thus gave him the benefit of the doubt. 'Wait... Yankii wannabe? That sounds like something Suzu-chan would say...' "...Eh?" Machi seemed confused at Hanako's words. How was he hitting on her in any way? Either the historian was very dense towards flirting - would be a miracle - or she was warping the situation out of the correct context. Well, two could play that game. "Why, Hana-chan, jealous?" She decided to tease her best friend, wearing a sly smirk. "I know you want me all for yourself, but occasionally let someone else have their fun~" |

Flirting, really? He literally walked up to them and said hello, but no that couldn't be him being nice. Or maybe, just maybe being friendly! No, that would be ridiculous. Of course he was totally flirting with someone who was engaged. How could people literally leap to such ridiculous conclusions? That was like saying all boys obviously must like sports or the color blue. Oh great, and now she was flirting with the other one. Man, what the hell? "No, I just thought i'd come over and try some nice civilized conversation. I mean I guess if you don't want me around I could just go though." Seriously, what the fuck? |

"Oh, no way, Machi-chan! Sorry, but I'm just greedy like that!" She said with a laugh. It's not that she had anything in particular against Jiro. But when someone tries so hard? She can't help herself but want to take a little bit of the starch out of their shirts with some ribbing. And sometimes just being obtuse. It was the same with SPencer-an. Well, she also hated Spencer-san, but that was neither here nor there. Meanwhile, Saiyuri was going. "Hey, you wanna get going, Mari-chan?" She was hoping that maybe they could have caught Saiyuri but it was a long shot, and she'd already excused herself, so rescuing her would have been unnecessary, right? |
