Machi refrained from chuckling rather impolitely at Jiro's phrase. His only friend? Quite the taste he had there. 'No wonder he doesn't have any.' 'No need to be so mean, Ganga-chan~' 'Oh, bite me.' After a bit more effort not to laugh at all, Machi successfully managed to retain her composure, smiling pleasantly as usual. As the question regarding Yuki went unanswered, the blonde was quick to figure Sayuri hadn't met him at all; that was unfortunate. She didn't know an awful lot of people who wouldn't want to rip Yuki's head off at first glance. As she was dragged away by Hanako after a hasty bow, her mood soured - Katsu was mentioned. Despite the occurrences of that day, Machi didn't feel right doing the explanations herself. "I don't know much about him, personally." She told Hanako in a lower tone, while finally retrieving her tea bottle from inside the school bag. "Perhaps you should ask Shou-kun about him instead? With all that... transpired, I haven't had the time to engage with Katsu-san that much." Seeing Akira in the distance, she attempted to catch his eye so to send a greeting smile his way. Whether that was successful or not, the historian decided it was about time to tackle the main issue at hand. "Hana-chan, I've been meaning to suggest something..." Her tone grew even lower. This was something none other was supposed to hear at all, due to possible implications concerning Seiichi. "...I think you should get out of that house for the time being." |

"Yeah? Well I just kind of sloppily draw things sometimes. I'm not any good at it though..." Jiro let the sentence hang at the new arrivals lingering gaze came to rest on him. He directed his attention at the white haired boy and stared right back at him. It wasn't a glare, but it wasn't the friendliest look either. "Do you need something?" Jiro never took kindly to peoples stares. Unless of course, he was telling a magnificient tale. This was not one of those times. |

She noticed Akira out of the corner of her eye, and offered him a friendly wave fro ma distance. She had a brittle, fake smile. She wasn't about to cause anyone more concern after what had happened. She turned to Machi and glanced down, taking a more honest expression. "Well, he might come back, right…? What happens if he goes there and I'm not around?" It was pretty lame, even to her own ears. 'Hanako, you know if there was anyone he'd try to keep in touch with? It'd be you. The fact that you haven't heard anything? I hate to say it but he's probably…' No! No! Medusa was wrong, wasn't she? He just… had to lay low somewhere without her around. Didn't he? If she looked then. Forget it, he's fine! Just ignore that sick feeling in the pit of her stomach. "Machi? What…what do you have in mind?" |

Aleph shrugged. "I kinda draw a little bit too. But I really like to paint really much. So many colors and shades and hues and all that. It's pretty amazing, if you ask me." Aleph said. Aleph then noticed Akira entering the roof area. It took a lot of self-control and restraint for Aleph to just not run over happily to Akira and pounce him like a cat. There he is! Don't let him get away like last time! And if Machi-butt tries to interfere with your friendship making skills....kill her and snap her neck. Simple as that. And as usual, Aleph's thoughts started going into super ultra mega grim dark mode. Classic. I will control myself. I will control myself. I will control myself. I will control myself--HEY AKIRA OH MY GOD I'M SO HAPPY TO SEE YOU WILL YOU BE MY FRIEND PLEASE PLEASE PLEEEEAAAASSEEE!!!!! Yep. A lot of self-control indeed. Fortunately, Aleph just smiled and gave Akira little, nice hand wave. "Hi, Akira-san. How are you doing so far here at Taiyoutono?" Aleph asked, smiling. |

"Ah, well, that's good," Sayuri said to Jiro. She didn't think her art was that impressive herself, compared to some others. Although she had a style of her own she didn't have much consistency with drawing yet. The amount of people around were starting to fray her nerves a bit. And for some reason she was feeling chilly although there wasn't a breeze. She did her best to focus only on finishing her lunch and appeared to physically diminish a bit. |

Akira barley caught Machi's smile and returned it politely. The new kid shot him a look applied with a remark. "Oh, nothing. I just haven't met you before, who are you?" It was simple curiosity he really didn't have an opinion of him yet. Akira quickly noticed two things: Hanako's fake smile as he waved to him - he was quite good at picking up on that. And two, the uncomfortable atmosphere that seemed to surround to the table. Aleph then asked him a question, which made it seem like he had not been at Taiyoutono for very long...regardless Akira answered. "Umm, it's going well enough. How about you, Aleph-san?" The un-friendly honorific perfectly conveyed his uncomfortable nature around Aleph right now. |

"Who cares if he comes back?" Machi mildly snapped at her friend, out of pure concern. "He didn't care enough to stay when you were out, and it's quite logical that you'd need his help when you got out of the hospital. If there is any fairness in the world, he'll stay away." Machi, out of all people, had a particular disdain for anyone who walked out on others. To think she was picking him over you... This is hilarious. "Well...." Regarding Hanako's future lodgings, she had an idea. "How about you move in with Shou-kun? There's a free room in that apartment, Matori-kun is there, and I'd rather have them not die of food poisoning..." Despite saying such a thing with a straight face, a mix of worry and nostalgia rose up. To contain herself, she resorted to her habit of spinning her engagement ring discreetly. "And more importantly, you'd be with someone who cares for you." Unfortunately, Machi couldn't offer her own house - with her father controlling her every move and disliking pretty much every friend she had, something as small as a visitor was forbidden, let alone a roommate. |

"Jiro Takenaka." The look this guy was giving him was starting to piss him off. "Commit it to memory." Oh if this kid kept looking at him like that. Well, suffice to say he returned the look tenfold. |

"Yeah…yeah, I guess not." She glanced down. She just had to face facts. Either he was dead and gone or he'd abandoned her, and she didn't know which one was worse, at the time. "Oh, but you don't know to worry about that." She waved off the prospect. "I think my family wouldn't mind moving me to another place and um…I'd probably do better staying alone for the time being." |

Aleph smiled as the conversation continued, but then took a moment to survey everyone around him. Jiro and Akira didn't seem to be getting off on the right foot. Warning sign number one. Sayuri seemed to be becoming overwhelmed by the sudden influx of people. Warning sign number two. And Akira had used his honorific for Aleph to convey that he was uncomfortable with Aleph despite not having hung out with Aleph long enough for Akira to know the real Aleph. Warning sign number three. Aleph then saw his Shadow appear in the middle of the entire group as it was, with its worn and faded uniform and empty, soulless and tired eyes and everything. "You can see it too, can't you? You can just see the imminent disorder and entropy just waiting to happen. I can see it too. Just look" Aleph's Shadow then gestured over to Jiro, then to Akira, then to Hanako and Machi, and finally to Sayuri. "Akira. Doesn't he just look like one little bomb of ice and hostility just waiting to blow up in your face right now? You're sure that that Machi wretch had something to do with him acting that way towards you. Either that or just one of her many mindless zealots brainwashed him. And look at this girl sitting next to you. She looks like she about to faint. And all because of how Machi is wrecking your equilibrium right now. Tch. Humans, I swear." Aleph's Shadow then walked past Akira then stopped when it was standing next to Jiro. "But that doesn't quite compare to the new so-called 'friend' you have, Jiro. He looks like he could much stronger than you, Persona or no Persona. And quite the violent one too. How long would it be before he figures out how you're just clinging onto him just so you won't feel alone, like how Machi did. She figured it out quicker than anybody did." The doppelganger stated, smirking. "Don't you just want to see him go off on someone and beat them to a pulp? Preferably Machi? Or do you fear that he 'Jiro-kun' may be becoming too much like you?" Aleph's Shadow stepped closer to Aleph until it was right next to him. "I wonder just how close to home it would be if Jiro would just run up to Machi and sock her square in the face?" Aleph's Shadow pondered. "Give her a good what for?" Aleph shook his head as his Shadow disappeared. No. This wasn't the time for disorder, or entropy, or senseless violence towards a girl who was his senior. And he never hated Machi. Granted, Aleph was disheartened and disillusioned whenever he failed to earn Machi's forgiveness. But he never truly hated her. You just need to forget about that bitch, is all. You know you've fucked up, and you've already accepted that fact. You tried to act on this realization, and she pushed you away like the jerkass bitch she is. So, you're just gonna forget about her until she learns that you are the sun, the moon, and the motherfucking stars. You are the very thing that brings light and happiness to peoples' lives. You are a better person than her. Adonis was right, Aleph thought. He did bring light and happiness and joy to peoples' lives. Even if he had locked himself away in his room for several years, he still knew at least a little bit of how people interacted with each other. If he could make people happy when he was young back then, then he could probably still do it today in his current form and age. So...wait, what were they talking about again? Oh, right. Aleph was talking to Akira. Aleph suddenly felt tired for some reason. Weird. "Oh, I've been fine, dude." He said happily, now that his mind was back where it was originally. "I've been making friends, working part-time jobs, and having fun in general." You really have been having fun lately, haven't you, Master? Yep. And for that, I can say, for once, that I feel so grateful! Aleph gestured towards Sayuri as he continued talking to Akira. "Oh, Akira-san!" Aleph said. "I'd like you to meet Sayuri Ueda, Class 1-5. She's a nice person, don't you think so?" Edited by TheGameFreak, Nov 27 2013, 09:09 PM.
