Yuki seemed thrown off by the hostility and disbelief coming from Seiji. What did he do? The nurse wasn't really necessary. He wasn't hurt in any way...

"...Can you at least tell me why I have to go?" It really didn't make any sense to him... Some fresh air would do the trick, plus he already managed to calm himself down... For the most part.

Or not.

"...I don't play the piano..."

In truth, Seiji's irritation had little to do with Yuki. It was the situation and the fact that he'd been drawn into other people's problems. It was a profoundly selfish thing to think, and he realized that. Still it didn't help that he resented getting entangled with other people's issues.

He folded his arms, and frowned. "Okay, okay, fine. You don't need to go to the nurse, and we'll both pretend you clearly weren't playing the piano." What else was he supposed to do? It wasn't worth arguing over.

"I really wasn't..." Yuki couldn't do it anymore. It was a major sin, one that cost others greatly. Maybe he should just damage his own fingers permanently and be done with it...

"...Why are you insisting so much...?" It was getting extremely uncomfortable, to be frank.

"Are you serious? Take a good look at yourself and then ask me again why I'm so instant. Somebody's gotta look after you in this state." And just why the hell did it have to be Seiji, huh? One good goddamn reason was all he asked…

Because, no one but you is around? Now quit being so abrasive.

He closed his eyes, and he took a deep breath. Then he spoke in far less harsh tones. "Fine, it's fine Ishimori-senpai. Let's just go, please? I don't really care where just not here."

Yuki's fist clenched ever so discreetly. He was getting extremely irritated by the hostility thrown his way - he had done nothing, from what he knew. But, it was selfish of him... Seiji probably had his own issues.

In the end, Yuki was just fine serving as a punching bag, wasn't he?

Said fist relaxed after that realization, even if reluctantly. "...Alright, wherever you wish..."

"Yeah, d-don't worry about it."

He was getting too worked up about it, too angry given the event. It wasn't doing him any good.

"Suzu can take care of herself. Come on Senpai, we'll go get some food or something, i guess. I'll pay."

"Takaki-chan... She asked me to drop her off here after we left Machi-chan in the hospital." Yuki idly commented, trying to take his mind off things. They weren't worth it...

"Any ideas as to why? She wouldn't tell me anything, and you two seem awfully close." At least, it was the impression he got from seeing them hanging out during breaks.

"Oh…couldn't tell you. I mean, we're just friends and maybe more later. If we both want? But for now…just friends."

He could only sigh. He liked Suzu, even if she was the biggest pain of all sometimes. But she was…different. Yes. Different. Special. He knew for a fact he'd never put up with the way she acted from anyone else. But if he kept that up then what sort of life would he have if he truly did become closer to her?

Was it even possible as things were?

"Ah…okay, if we see her, we see her, otherwise please decide what you want. and 'Whatever you want.' is a spineless non-answer, I'll have none of it." At least one upside to these jobs was he could afford to do that sort of thing on a whim.

"More later? Are you thinking of asking her out or something?" Now that would be interesting, Yuki thought. Suzu seemed like the highly independent type, and a lot would take to ground her, from what he could gather in the time they spent together so far.

"..." Why was he insisting so much? Wasn't 'needing some fresh air' enough? "Um... Maybe we could have a snack by the track field?" The Track and Field team was meeting there, if he recalled correctly, but he enjoyed watching sports anyway.

"Um, kind of did, already. But ah, we havent' had a first real date yet. You know how it's been."

No he didn't, but in saying so, Seiji hoped to avoid having to explain it in detail. He'd calmed down since before. Why did it bother him so much? He'd never been so rancorous and defensive about the little things like that before. "Ah…Ishiimori-san? I'm sorry about how I've been acting. I guess I really didn't want to have something else dropped on my head. I've been busy lately."

It's not like he could tell him all about it. But there was one thing he could probably add. "You're in the same homeroom as Nishiyo Sadako, right? You should probably stay away from her, she's not…good, you know?" What the hell was wrong with Seiji? Did he have a blowout or something? The best he could have come up with besides 'she's a murderous, gaudy witch' was 'she's not good? Of course he'd probably have to offer Yuki some explanation to that, as well.
