"Ishinomori, could you please take these to the music room? I forgot to leave them there during the last meeting!" "U-Um... Sure..." Yuki reluctantly agreed on a teacher's quest to take music sheets to the school's music room - a room he dreaded walking by, even more so entering. Yet, he found himself in such a predicament inevitably. Oh, the things he did just to help people. It was after school, some people were in clubs. Not very many though, as it wasn't a culture nor sports club meetings day. The halls were quite empty, and he stepped towards the room of his doom rather shakily, fearful. When was the last time he saw an instrument...? As he reached the proper room, he felt a little pale. One of those monsters would be just behind the door, wouldn't it? '...Come on, I'm not a coward...' With that, he slid the door open and stepped in. Deliberately avoiding to look around, Yuki marched to a lone desk by the corner of the room, neatly placing the sheets atop of it, taking a deep breath of relief as it was a job well done. However, he did a small miscalculation and turned the wrong way - it was just enough so that his gaze's path stumbled upon the piano in the room, and he froze. "..." The last time he had played it... Over two years back? He had been called a true prodigy by many - his mother wanted him to engage in worldwide tours, as he and his compositions certainly had the potential to do so, but Yuki humbly decided to learn everything he could first, take a course in music, and only then make a career for himself. That was until it happened. He quit and never touched a piano again. The very thought of it sickened him to no end. His wishes brought harm to others... They were evil. They weren't worthy of existing. So how come he was sitting by the piano before even noticing his legs had started moving? The temptation was so great. Oh, so very great. Yuki's well trained, even if rusty, fingers rested along the milky white keys of the instrument, and after much hesitation, one finger pressed down on a low note. "..." It was so wrong, but it felt so right. The boy closed his eyes, and rang out another note, not so low that time. Such an action went on for a few notes, until his fingers just started moving on their own, as if he had never once actually stopped playing the instrument. The melody was truly beautiful, and the boy seemed to be in quite the trance. If only he could have the piano again... |

"Where the hell is she?" It wasn't a club day, but Suzu'd not jetted off to go play games or 'do whatever the fuck she wanted' as she was so fond of saying. Her shoe box still had her things, and she wouldn't have just left and totally ignored them. He had way too much shit to deal with at the moment and if she wanted to be free and do whatever she felt like? Then maybe, just maybe, she'd have been happier without him tying her down? Who knows? Maybe he'd have been happier in that scenario too. …back from a tangent, Seiji had decided not to just scan for her as he was growing a bit weary of every little aspect of goddamn magic mind demons. And all the baggage which that curtailed. So he was perfectly fine looking for the redhead the old-fashioned way, starting with places she was likely to be if still around school. And that's why he poked his head into the music club at that very moment. "Suzu, are you in he-" Evidently, she was not. "Oh, Ishimori-san? Sorry, but have you seen Suzu around?" |

Yuki's fingers danced along the keys rather beautifully, composing a melody said Suzu Takaki could only be very jealous of. Yuki himself wasn't even there - an innocent child, rather, playing the instrument he loved, absent of a conscience or outside world to interfere with such a thing. Of course, that didn't last long. As soon as Seiji's voice pierced Yuki's ears, his dulled eyes snapped open, focusing on his own moving hands, and his ears picking up on the sound made by them. This sent him into quite the panic - he wasn't worthy of said instrument. He wasn't worthy of what he wanted. The third year shakily and violently jumped from his seat and fell backwards, his head hitting the wall. He looked at the piano with a mix of shock and fear, wanting to get the hell out of it. For a moment, he forgot Seiji was even in the room, not replying at all, despite him being the catalyst to him snapping out of it. |

"I didn't know you played." As a matter of fact? Yuki was good. Really good! Great even. But the playing stopped as abruptly as it began when he startled him out of it. "Oh, sorry." Really? It was quickly obvious that something was amiss there. Maybe he should just…go back the way he came? Would that have been best? He was leaning that way, yeah. |

"..." Yuki quickly got up to his feet, and stepped away from the infernal object, his back pressing against the wall. His heart rate was going a mile a second, and he finally managed to stutter out a response. "I... I don't play..." He shouldn't. She should probably just slam his fingers with the keyboard's lid, much like-- "I think I need some air..." Muttered the pale student, blindly staggering out of the room, not even noticing who he was talking to exactly. |

Yup! It was definitely looking like it was time for Seiji's specialty. But before he was gonna do that, a little voice in his head stopped him. It wasn't his conscience, but it was close enough! 'Seiji, stop. Clearly Yuki's having to deal with something serious here, you should make sure he's okay.' …oh, goddammit. That was probably what he should do, despite wanting to just go and forget about this, right? "Ishimori-senapi, come on, let me help…" He looked a mess, he'd help him get some fresh air, maybe a drink of water? |

Yuki was as pale as a ghost. He definitely needed air. Seiji's voice reached his ears once more as he staggered past the door, trying to keep himself together, but not doing that much of a good job at it. "H-Help...?" Oh, how ironic. The last time he was helped, he... '...' "N-No! I'll be fine!" He stood up for himself rather suddenly, his eyes looking deceivingly determined, the true emotion behind such being sheer terror. "Don't worry about me..." Edited by Natscookie, Oct 20 2013, 05:24 PM.

Everyone said they were fine, even when they weren't. When they said it the way Yuki did, they were especially not fine. Shit, what was he supposed to do? "Let's get you to the nurses' office." So, he just takes him there, and then well? That's it for his involvement, right? |

Yuki just wanted to turn around and run. Run from Seiji, run from the piano, run from that school and its nurse, run from his life. Run from his miserable, pathetic, meaningless life. However, something seemed to keep him grounded. A very faint desire to struggle. The bonds he had with people. And most of all, his compulsive need of helping everyone, in his own detriment. No matter how shitty it felt afterwards. He would just have to ignore his own urges... Even him running away always ended up being highly hypocritical, didn't it? "N-Nurse? I don't think that's necessary..." |

"Yeah, I bet you don't." Yeah, Yuki seemed like one of those types of human doormats that had to do everything for everyone around them and neglected themselves and their own needs totally. That combined with something that obviously happened to make him stop playing music. So together that all meant…dammit, dammit, this was sounding like a real pain in the ass to get involved with, but it was already too late, wasn't it? "Fine, then, Ishimori-senpai, let's just go to be safe. That sounds fine, doesn't it? Or I guess you can just tell me why you stopped playing the piano? Then we'll just get on with it." |
