Isoroku nodded as she stayed to keep Kinzaki company while Kyo went out of the room. Meanwhile, Subaru noticed Kyo and then frowned when she told her to follow her. She assumed that Kinzaki didn't say anything due to her trauma of eating her own beloved pet. "..." Subaru was silent for a brief moment after hearing Kyo's question. She was unfazed by her question at all. She sure was an impatient one, wasn't she. Sighing, Subaru answered Kyo's question. "So, if I tell you a name of a person, are you going to crush their nose?" she asked calmly. |

"...does this clockwork hand follow you... or guide you?"

Kyo gritted her teeth. She really wasn't in the mood for a runaround right now, but her anger was probably putting this guy off, butler and all that, probably had the patience of the Buddha... "Look," she said, trying to keep her tone even, level. "I don't know what, or why, or who did it, all I know is, someone killed Kinzaki's piglet, right?" Her eyes drifted back over Subaru's shoulder, toward the door. "...and whatever they did, it's put my friend in this kinda state," she said. "That. Won't. Stand. So... tell me who the fuck I'm s'posedta hate for this. Please." That last word sounded about as tacked-on as it was. Kyo's eyes locked with Subaru's. Just tell me, she thought. Just tell me who did this, what they did, just give me answers. I'll figure out the rest after... |

"...Very well..." Subaru sighed. "The one who did it was Ojou-sama's aunt herself, Reina Kirihara," Subaru said. "She is her father's little sister, and one of the researchers of the research team," she explained. "And apparently, there is no love lost between two of them." "But this is just the beginning..." Subaru added. "This is more like a declaration of war. The worse thing will come soon..." she said. "So, what are you going to do after knowing this, Kyo Charinko?" she asked. She knew her name thanks to her mistress herself telling her beforehand. |

Kinzaki's own aunt. Of course it was someone in the family, someone in the household, someone who could easily just walk in and kill Napoleon without obstruction. Kyo remained unmoving, closing her eyes. A declaration of war meant there was some objective or vendetta, some reason this aunt would want to antagonize Kinzaki. Probably some stupid feud over who got the company. That Reina bitch deserves to die, snarled Nevan. Born into a rich, well-off family without a care in the world, but she can't just be happy about how privileged she is, can she? No, she has to squabble over who gets the biggest box of pies in the crate. Well, then... "That depends," Kyo said icily. "She's gonna be tryin' anythin' else? Then I'm gonna be there between her and Kinzaki and if I catch her, I'll just hafta beat the bitchiness out of her, ain't I? She's on the research team, y'said, right? That means she knows about Personas. That means I don't hafta hide mine. She tries anything, I'll Mudoon her brains inta jelly." |

Subaru smiled. She liked the sound of having Reina's brain being blasted into jelly by a well-aimed entropic spell, but doing that might cause more needless problems. "Ojou-sama had already anticipated this. She had formed a group which consists of Persona-users who are willing to work under her. Like praetorian guards of sorts," Subaru said. "And now that Reina-sama had declared her war, we will declare ours, as soon as Ojou-sama recovers," Subaru said. She looked at Kyo. "Do you want to help?" she asked. |

The first expression to pass over Kyo's face was incredulity. Did she want to help? The better question was, why was this the first time-- "Why's this the first time I'm even hearin' o' this? And what about Isoroku?" she asked. "The two of us'd've been the first t' say yes if we were told before now..." Kyo tilted her head back and sighed, rocking back on her heels and looking at the door to Kinzaki's room again. "...Yeah, o'course. But tell me this. What, exactly, did this Reina bitch do t' the little guy?" She rolled her eyes in their sockets to look at Subaru again. "It ain't just Kinzaki I'm pissed about, y'know. I liked that little piggy..." |

Subaru sighed. "Well, to be honest, I can't just ignore any potential for new allies. We're severely undermanned and most of us are newbies as Persona-users," Subaru admitted. "It would be good to have you two helping us in this matter..." she told Kyo. "So, you're asking about what Reina-sama did to Napoleon?" Subaru said before she paused. "You will not like it..." she said. She looked aside before she told Kyo about what exactly Reina did to Napoleon. "I don't know if I can word it right, but she had him cooked into pork stew," she looked down. It was a little nauseating. How could that woman be so cruel? "And then got it served to Ojou-sama during lunch." Yes, it's definitely nauseating. To think the cute and cuddly Napoleon got slaughtered and cooked, it's no surprise that Kinzaki got traumatized after unintentionally having a taste of the stew. |

Kyo's face didn't change; in fact, most tellingly, it froze, as did the rest of her, and she just stared at Subaru for a full ten seconds. It was a lack of reaction that probably conveyed her horror and disbelief more adequately than any look of horror or disbelief ever should. And then she withdrew her hands from her pockets. There was a slight nauseous waver to her voice as she said, "...Damn this place for everythin' bein' so expensive. I think I wanna break somethin' now, but there's nothin' here cheap enough t' break." Kyo covered her face with her hands, closed her eyes, and groaned. "Jesus fuck... I don't even know where t' start with that bullshit..." She let her hands drop, and then nodded. "Alright, I'll go back t' Kinzaki and do what I can t' help... get her out of her funk, I guess. I'll explain all this t' Isoroku later, so just, let us know the details over Bedlam later, I guess." The, she pointed a finger right in Subaru's face. "After hearin' that, though, I definitely wanna be there when we take this bitch down, got it?" said Kyo, and then she turned right back around and marched back to Kinzaki's room, slowing only as she approached the door and slid it open. She paused on the way in, hoping rather than expecting to see some kind of change in her friend. |

Subaru nodded. "You have my word, Charinko-san. That is my intention as well," she said before she looked at Kyo entering Kinzaki's room. In the room, Isoroku was still sitting beside Kinzaki, who seemed despondent, but at least she had stopped crying. She was still holding the blue ribbon in her hand. "Kyo," Isoroku said, looking at Kyo. During the time when Kyo was outside, Kinzaki didn't say anything. Isoroku didn't know anything about what exactly happened because Kinzaki wouldn't even talk about it, but from what she could see, something terrible might have happened to Napoleon, and she was worried about it. |

Kyo hovered in the doorway, and then stepped inside, sliding the door shut behind her. "Okay, that was a lie," she announced without preamble. "I didn't go t' the girl's room, I asked what happened." She exhaled a frustrated breath, and walked across to Kinzaki's bed, sitting herself down on the heiress's other side. She put a hand on Kinzaki's shoulder and said, "We'll have a funeral for the little guy when you're feelin' up for it, Kinzaki. I swear t' God, we won't let that shrew get away with it. So just take it easy for now, yeah?" The squeezed Kinzaki's shoulder, and then gave Isoroku a quick, sharp look--Don't ask, I'll explain later. "...We'll stay with ya in the meanwhile. Or well, Isoroku'll stay with ya and I'll stay with ya until ya fall asleep! At which point I kinda hafta leave." She paused. A grim smile worked its way onto Kyo's face, then, and she added: "...I could park m'self outside Reina's bedroom window for a few nights runnin', see how she likes sleep deprivation..." she suggested in a deathly-serious voice. "That'll learn her t' mess with our friends." |
