Kumori grabbed the chainmail as it began to slough off and helped to take it off, coaxing it with a slight pull of Gry, exposing the welts and bruises underneath. The pulse of energy refocused on Naoya's abdomen and began to work on the boy's body. Capillaries threaded together underneath Naoya's skin and what had been pale or purple began to take on warmer colours. "A new section of the ruins... You'll have to tell me about it later, Imoto-san. For now, are you feeling well enough to go without pain medication?" |

Naoya twisted a bit and -- with Kumori's and Daichi's -- help pulled the ruins of the chainmail free, taking a deep gulping breath as he could finally breathe easily. Immediately, he wrapped his arms around himself, trying to retain enough warmth to combat his heightened sense of the cold. "Th...thanks. All 'f ya. Thought, uh...thought I wasn't goin' t' make it." He was looking considerably better than he had previously, the wounds on his body already turning into puckered scars, and the angry dull-green-and-violet coloring of his bruises fading away to a pallid yellow. The wound upon the side of his head was the only one that still seemed to be raw, and it felt odd to both have air and sunlight on his scalp -- the only covering it had now was a raggedly cut bit of black hair on the right side, shortened in an attempt to make sure that it grew in relatively evenly when the grafted flesh and scars healed enough to allow hair to grow on the left side of his head. He didn't look good by any stretch, but he didn't look like he was about to die any longer. |

"Well. I think we oughta get Naoya outta here then. Get some food in him and what not. Let Mother Nature do the rest. Maybe give Naoya some pain killers to thin her flow." said Charles, with a sigh of relief. "She just kinda had her time of the month on me, going from my jacket right now. Mother Nature is a bitch that never hits menopause." Charles looked to the folks in front of him giving them all a smile. At least his grievous injury taught Daichi how to be efficient with healing and discovered a new part of the ruins. |

"Indeed, shall we all go with him to make sure he arrives home safely?" Daichi quizzed the others, not really thinking of what else to do. |
