Machi left the building, but didn't go far. In fact, she sat down by a wooden bench right outside that entrance, not even finding it odd that her vehicle was nowhere to be found. She hadn't noticed Kyo, Shou, nor any of the ones coming in. Once she sat down, her elbows planted themselves against her knees, and she hid her face in her hands, a futile attempt to hide all the tears streaming down.

She couldn't even form a single coherent thought at that point.

---

"O-Okay..." Yuki nodded to Naoya, still holding his bloody nose, and decided to look around. Might as well have it checked, even if it was a small thing - maybe they could even get him some ice.

Of course, he was interrupted as someone inconveniently moved to greet him. Instead of shrugging him off, he just shook the man's hand with his own free one. "I... um... I'm looking to get my nose fixed actually... One moment..." And with that, he proceeded to look around some more. He needed to get it fixed so to go help his fiancee after all.

At last, some medical staff rushed to help him. He left the group temporarily to get the bleeding to stop.

---

Suzu had gotten out of the train station with Seiji and Momoko. The three were out together when they heard of the news, and rushed to the hospital immediately. As they reached the premises, the redhead spotted a few people outside - Kyo, Shou, and Machi.

'...Oh god, how is she doin'?'

I think only you are capable of gauging that at this point.

'...'

"Go on ahead without me, need't'do somethin'." She said plainly, walking away from the other two, in bubuzuke's direction. She was the only one aware of the girl's issue, and thus probably the only one who could snap her out of it.

Shin glanced over at Chika, and said: "I'm here in an unofficial capacity at the moment. We'll be taking over soon. At the moment, I don't know."

He stepped away from the red-haired girl and clapped his hands once for attention. He looked over the large -- and growing -- crowd of high school students, which now included Isoroku Mayoi, the Serizawa kid, and a number of people he didn't know. In an authoritative voice, he said: "Everyone here because of Hanako Ito, please step into the waiting room here. Come on!"

He gestured once, and led the way to the door, pointing in. After making the festure, he stood to the side of the door with his back straight.

As Shin was speaking, Naoya excused himself wordlessly from his interlocutors. So long as Hanako was under lockdown, there was nothing to do but tend to the people who were here. It seemed like many people simply didn't -- or couldn't -- think of themselves at a time like this. He saw Chika, and noticed her cradling her hand: of course the ring had been triggered by the news.

He went over to her, passing by Isoroku as he did. He smiled sadly, and nodded once as he pulled the spare bandanna from his back pocket. He approached the red-haired girl and held out the bandanna.

"Hey, uh..." he began, and raised his left hand toward his eye. "You...you've got a thing."

He touched his tear duct, as if indicating that she had something there, but his eyes themselves were focused on her injured hand. Beneath the bandanna, he had charged his touch with diarama. When she took the bandanna, he would apply his touch directly to the wounded finger long enough to close up the punctures and then withdraw his hand.

"...does this clockwork hand follow you... or guide you?"
Chika found it difficult to track everything that was going on around her--a lot of people here she didn't even know, but there was Isoroku, knowing Kyo she would be here pretty soon if she wasn't already, where was Machi? Machi was friends with Hanako, but maybe she was busy--

Shin's answer, she responded to with a robotic, automatic nod to show she'd heard. Of course there was no answer yet. The irritating thing about all this, though, was that Hanako had been found and rescued by non-users before any users had a chance to help... it wouldn't be possible to use magic to patch her up, at least not for a while, but...

Naoya approached. Chika, feeling somewhat numb, blinked down at the spare bandana. He was--oh.

"Thanks..." she muttered, reaching out to take the bandana, feeling the expected dose of healing magic when their hands came in contact. She wouldn't wipe the blood off her hands with this, though... that would dirty it. She could always just wash it off in the public restroom while they waited. Instead, she mimed the act of wiping away a tear that wasn't there. "I just--I guess I panicked when I heard. Hanako's been good t'me, so..."

She trailed off and sucked in a shaky breath, holding the bandana out to Naoya.

"...It seems like... this stuff happens t' everyone I care about," she said quietly after taking a moment to compose herself. "We should wait in the waitin' room. No sense gettin' in peoples' way... we prolly aren't the only people here who're worried about someone right now."

---

Kyo lifted her head from her knees, just in time to see Suzu emerge. Only then did she realize that Shou had followed them out. She blinked slowly at the boy, and then turned her eyes to Machi. The girl had been freaking the hell out, and although Kyo thought she herself would have freaked out if she'd had the energy to do so as well, it didn't seem like an ordinary freakout. It seemed like there was some deeper issue there.

In fact it reminded her of her own freakout, back when Treo Ashdown had gone missing, abducted by a mysterious kidnapper... there had to be some deeper issue there...

Pay attention, whispered Nevan. This is your chance--your chance to find that "in" you were looking for with Machi. Your chance to find out what makes her tick...

It was a loathsome line of thought as always, but Kyo was curious all the same. She wanted to know. Where were Machi's real issues at? She'd been having some problems with her Shadow... and when they'd first met, in class, it had been triggered by the news that Alan would be leaving...

...leaving...

...

I wonder...

Upupupupu~!
And so, the other boy left. Not only did Aleph suck at being with people, he also had really shitty timing whenever he tried not to suck at being with people. Aleph nodded to Shin, and followed everyone to the waiting room.

Aleph looked around to see the now growing crowd. Naoya was tending to Chika, Shin was apparently trying to establish order as usual, and...OH SHIT! Aleph did not notice Isoroku there! Oh well. Might as well try to make nice with her. Even though all the awkwardness was happening.

Aleph walked up to Isoroku and tried to speak with her and process just what the hell happened. "Umm, hi. Hi, Isoroku-san." Aleph said. "From what I am able to understand of just about everything happening here...something horrible has happened to Hanako-san and now she is here in the hospital. But what I want to know is what exactly happened to her?"

Though he was looking around, Taketo wasn't really paying attention to anything or anyone in particular. Truth was he was trying just not to think much at all right now.

The only thing he noticed was his roommate approaching and sitting next to him. Somehow that made him feel somewhat better.

He kept quiet until he heard Alan speak. Upon turning him, he noticed his headphones and mp3 in his hand.

At first he made a look of confusion. Alan was never without his headphones when he wanted to relax. Seemed like this was the ideal situation for them.

Then, as if on cue, a glimmer of understanding shone upon his face. He couldn't help but smile at the gesture. It was... unexpectedly kind.

"Thanks, Alan-kun.." He said in a grateful tone, taking the objects in hand. Instead of putting them on though, he looked at them for a bit, his face returning to a look of discomfort. He turned to Alan, making sure to whisper.

"This is just retarded. We know people who can heal her up instantly. I saw Kagami-san heal a hole in her damn chest with no effort once, yet we're sitting here not knowing if she's gonna make it. It... irritates me to no fucking end." It's not they could just tie up all the doctors and do their thing... It was unbearable to just stand there and do nothing though.

"Sorry, I'm just... mad, I guess. Thanks for keeping me company. It means... a lot." More than he could know.

Taketo looked back upon hearing a clapping noise. Apparently they were supposed to move to the waiting room. Made sense, yes.

"Oh... we should go there, too." He said, getting up, waiting for Alan before starting to walk.

Momoko quickly hurried alongside Suzu and Seiji as they arrived at the hospital. So many questions bounced around in her head. What happened? Was Hanako doing okay? Would she recover?

The girl had to shake off these questions as Suzu suddenly spoke. Momoko quickly followed her gaze, spotting Machi almost immediately. Suddenly her heart was torn, both wanting to check on Hanako and comfort Machi. "U-um...S-suzu-san...C-can I help m-maybe?" She walked after Suzu slightly.

--

Shou's eyes slowly began to close as he simply tried to clear his mind. He was being useless right now, just sitting there like a moron. He didn't know how he could be of help but hell he had to try..."Know this is a stupid question." He muttered, finally looking towards Kyo. "But how ya holdin up?" As for Machi, he already saw that Suzu and Momoko were heading towards her. As much as he wanted to help her, he knew crowding her would just make her worse

--

"No problem." The boy smiled slightly at Taketo, glad that he could at least help the boy a little. He was a bit curious as to why he didn't put them on.

Soon enough he got his answer.

"I know...it sucks like hell...I mean shit I've seen arms get reattached." He lowered his voice as well. "I know it sucks, but we'll just have to let these guys do their job." Though he wondered how they'd react to a miracle healing...

"I'm not exactly all sunshine and lollypops either." The boy sighed. "No need to thank me Taketo-kun." He smiled before getting up as well and following Taketo.

-insert something witty here-

While Isoroku was thinking, she was approached by someone. It was Benkei. She nodded when he mentioned that Nishiyo wasn't the one behind this. "I know. I'm just worried about Hanako-san's condition, that's all. I really hope she'll be alright," she said to Benkei.

And then, there was Aleph. Apparently, he wanted to know why Hanako was hospitalized. To be completely honest, Isoroku didn't know either. She shook her head to answer the boy's question. "I'm sorry, Serizawa-san, but I honestly don't know. Perhaps we can only wait and see," she said to the boy.

Well, shit, it was up to him to spread the bad news around, wasn't it?

"As far as we can tell. When Ito-san was brought in? She was lit on fire at least once and attacked with heavy bludgeons, axes and kicked, several broken limbs, busted ribs, collapsed lung, severe skull fractures and serious burns, gashes blood loss…the point is she's stable for now and they're doing everything possible for her. Who attacked her and why, and I'm probably going to want to talk to Detective Imoto about all of this before I talk too much about that."

Seiji obliged the instructions to go in the waiting room, he murmured something not quite intelligible in response to Suzu's suggestion and he found a spot to sit. Hands on his knees.

Even though there were lots of people who could have helped her with healing magic, the fact was…she'd been found by normal people, and taken to the hospital, if she showed up with a miraculous recovery now that'd create more problems than it solved. Especially if she was attacked because she was a Persona user, or something.

So there wasn't even a thing he could do, was there? Other than sit and wait and hope she ends up okay in the end? …bullshit!

Everything about that situation was bullshit…

Akira ran quickly into the building. 'The one god-damn time I have to be late...'

This isn't the first...

'Not the time!'

All he knew is that Hanako was severally injured. Burned at that. He could only hope that her appearance wasn't horribly affected...he would hate to see her like that. Every damn time she looked in the mirror a constant reminder of-

'No, I need to just stay calm for now...'

He shook his head and rushed in rather quickly, not caring if odd looks were raised. He made his way over to the waiting room, filled with adrenaline and fear. There he saw a bunch of familiar faces about, all of which probably felt equal grief. But, more importantly...he saw Seiji. And right then a shocked look covered his face as he realized the grave situation of it all... Seiji would be absolutely destroyed by this...everyone would.

"...Hey..." he addressed everyone, but mostly Seiji. His voice was really shaky, with a saddened tone. If the situation it's self wasn't bad enough, seeing everyone saddened certainly made it so. Akira, despite all of his emotion, despite all of his anger...and fear. He put on his familiar apathetic facade and walked towards Seiji. His heart was still racing regardless, he was still depressed and his body was physically shaking. In fact, his attempt to keep the facade was probably unsuccessful. He wasn't even sure why he persisted on it.

"I-I'm terribly sorry for being so late..." he really didn't want to address the subject directly. And didn't know what to say. So instead he sat down silently next to Seiji and folded his arms in a way that looked more like he was comforting himself more than anything, his arms hugging his black hoodie. He was fighting back so many different emotions right now it was torture.

Akira kept his eyes focused on a wall next to him. It was foolish, and unavoidable, but he didn't want to see the look of depression on his familiar group of friends.

Daichi was caught by surprise when Akira ran straight past him and into the lobby. It seemed as if nobody else was going to come in. Daichi walked into the lobby himself only to overhear a multitude of kids talking in the waiting room. He made his way to the waiting room, peering in to see if it was indeed the group he was a part of. He saw Seiji, Taketo, and Akira so he quietly made his way into the room, grabbing a piece of wall and standing against it. He looked around, wanting to know if there was anyone else he knew here. He recoginized Naoya, and nobody else.

It's not like I came here to socialize anyway.

He saw an older man as well. Though Daichi wasn't sure to make of anyone at the current time. He sighed, the sick feeling still in his stomach. Hopefully some form of news would come from a doctor soon.
