"I think I've heard about that before," Jun nodded. "Interesting..." Kinzaki mused. While they're talking to each other, the bell rang, indicating the end of lunchtime. Jun and Kinzaki looked at each other before Jun nodded. "I guess that's it for now. Thank you for having lunch with me, Kyo-san, Kinzaki-san," he spoke to both girls. "It's my pleasure, Kariyama-kun," Kinzaki replied as she stood up and bowed to Jun. "And thank you for you too, Kyo-san, for spending time with us," she smiled at Kyo. |

"Y'say that like I hung out with ya out of obligation or somethin'," Kyo said with a small chuckle. To Jun, she added: "Thank you for the lunch. Jus' don't tell Edward I like his cookin'. Don't wanna mess with the whole 'one-sided fighting game rival' thing we got goin'--y'know, how I wanna punch his face in an' he's laughin' at how much I suck and oh you just wait until I'm done with my trainin' cause I'm gonna show that bleedin' bumcrack who's laughin' then..." Coughing into her fist to clear her throat and cease her muttering, she offered the two a wave. "Anyway, thanks, you two, I think I needed a bit of pal-time. My head don't hurt nearly as bad now." |

"We should be going now, then," Jun said before he turned on his heel and went to the stairways, going downstairs. Kinzaki followed him from behind, not before giving Kyo a wave as well. "Umm... Isoro- I mean, Kariyama-kun, do you mind if I ask you something?" Kinzaki spoke to Jun. "Sure, go ahead," Jun smiled as he walked in front of the heiress. "Does Kyo-san know about... umm..." Kinzaki seemed to be hesitating before she continued. "...you? I mean... real you?" "..." Jun was silent for a few seconds before he smiled again. "I guess she's not," he wasn't sure whether it was true or not. He already knew that Kyo might already know about the real identity of Jun Kariyama and his association with Isoroku Mayoi. "I won't keep this a secret forever, but for the time being, just let it be..." "Alright, if you say so..." Kinzaki said as both of them walked down the stairways. The moment the two left, Kyo sighed. Whether it was in disappointment that they were gone, or relief that she didn't have to watch her words so closely anymore, she couldn't say. She was actually leaning a bit toward the former, though. Kyo stood there for a few minutes, hands in her pockets, not really minding that she'd be late for class, and just stared up at the clouds for a bit. As she replayed the lunch in her head, a small smile found its way onto her face and she decided it was worth having to watch her words for a while to have lunch and chill with Jun and Kinzaki. She followed them back down into the school soon after. |
