"Yes, I am..." Kakeru answered that question as his mask materialized in his right hand before it dissipated into blue particles. "You're also a Persona-user as well, judging from that question..." he said as he cast Diarahan on himself. He was glad that no one but both of them were there. As expected, the girl was angry, and he had to face the consequence of his action earlier.

"I don't really know what to say, but... I'm sorry for that," Kakeru said. He looked at the girl in front of him to see her reaction to what he said just now.

Kyo's eyes narrowed. Sorry, huh. Yeah. She supposed that might cut it. After all, all he'd really done was scare her. Magically and completely out of her fucking mind, but scared was all she'd been. But it wasn't like she could just walk away, say it was cool, don't let it happen again, brah...

"...Why?" she asked. "Why the hell? Just tell me why. I get that you lost control or something, but... look, just answer the question."

It had been random, out of fucking nowhere for no reason, like that ninja on the rooftop the day she'd met Hiroko. But that had been interesting. Hilarious, even. A great way to break the mood, too, given what Hiroko was doing at the time.

This...

She didn't even know what to feel. Except the ghost of the vampire's arms clutching her motionless form, his hot breath on her neck as the fangs drew near... she had to repress a shudder. Would she have survived if he'd--if he hadn't--had she come that close to--

Her heartbeat quickened again. No. No no no, she couldn't die now, just when everything was going so right--

Kitten. Relax. It's over.

Kyo nodded absently in response to the voice, a hand drifting up to her heart. She couldn't help taking another step back, however.

Well, as expected the girl was afraid of him. That's was already expected, though. Seeing that the girl had taken another step back, Kakeru decided to not move so the girl wouldn't have to feel afraid, or try to not make her afraid of him more.

"Well... actually, it's complicated," Kakeru admitted. From what he knew, he usually got this impulse whenever he saw a lone, seemingly-helpless young woman in front of him. That impulse was uncontrollable urge that could spike up without warning. Initially, he thought that this impulse could only appear at night, but he never thought that it could appear during daytime, especially at school. "But you're right. I lost control..." he said. "It's not something that I can help much. It just... happened."

"But never mind that. Are you alright?" he knew that he should worry about the girl more. For the most part, he could suppress his urge, but the poor girl might have been traumatized by that thing earlier. "Did I hurt you? If I did, I'm sorry. Did I scare you?"

She didn't know why, maybe it was a point of pride. Maybe it was her way of feeling more in-control of the situation. Whatever the case, she shrugged and smirked.

"I'm made of tougher stuff than your average floozy," she said. "It'd take more than that to bring me down. Hell, it I'd had a couple more seconds I think I woulda broke outta that spell and stuck an ice-spike in your throat. So be glad you came to your senses when ya did. People tend to ask awkward questions when you Bufu someone's windpipe in the middle of--"

...Oh Mother of God...

"...in the middle of a school hallway," Kyo finished in deadpan, glancing around. Phew. No one was coming. "Well, this could've turned out bad for both of us. I guess you really must not have much control of that vampire thing, if you go batshit rabid in places like this."

Her expression shifted from false confidence to contemplation as she looked at the boy. She tried to imagine what it would be like if, for example, her own Persona took such hold of her that she became--that she became some kind of ravenous sex predator who jumped poor little church-boys in the dead of night or whenever she ran across one in a poorly-lit hallway--

Oh, as if! I would never try to use you for something like that! Kitten, how could you even think that?

Morrigan, will you shut up? I'm trying to be all empathetic here.

An indignant huff from the corner of her mind where the Persona lived was the only answer. Kyo's heart had more or less returned to normal pace now, and she found that beneath her residual anger and feelings of almost-violation she felt weirdly sorry for this... vampire-Persona-user... dude... but more than that, she felt like she had been assaulted not by a fellow classmate but a vision of what anyone with this power could become if they failed to master themselves.

Failed to master themselves? Pshaw! If there was one thing the whole world that no one but Kyo herself would ever have any control of, it was her self!

That's the spirit, kitten~ Now what are you going to do about our blood-slurping young friend here?

Morrigan seemed unduly pleased all of a sudden, despite having sounded put-out and insulted mere moments before. Kyo couldn't really contemplate this too deeply at the moment, though. They were still standing in the middle of the hallway and it would be a good idea to get this over with before someone came along but--

--But what do you even do in this situation? Kyo wonder, running a hand through her hair. I mean, it'd be wrong to just let him go, wouldn't it? Eventually he'd find some other girl and they wouldn't be so lucky but maybe he has more control than that maybe I can trust him not to--no no no, Kyo, that's crazy talk, you know better than anyone how hard certain... urges are to resist, isn't it proof enough that he can't control himself when things already got this far and all that triggered it was you and him alone for like five seconds by random chance?

Kyo exhaled an annoyed breath. "Look, listen. Let's say I hadn't managed to fight it off and you hadn't managed to fight you off. What would've happened to me then?" A pause. "And has it happened to other girls? Don't lie, man, I want the truth here. I can take it."

"Well..." Kakeru scratched the back of his head. "This usually happened at night. Actually, this is the first time it happened during daytime, and I didn't expect this to happen at school," he said as he observed the girl in front of him. The girl looked certainly familiar, but he didn't know her name. Perhaps she was one of his classmates, but he didn't pay any attention to any of his classmates that he didn't interact with. "By the way, I'm glad you're alright. But I don't think Bufu will work on me anyway..." he looked around to make sure that there was no one to see them. "Maybe you already know this, but certain users are immune against certain spells. I'm immune against ice."

"But let's not get to that..." Kakeru shrugged. "Actually, it happened a lot of times before. The ones I usually assaulted were some girls I found at the backstreets at night. You probably heard some rumors about vampire assaults sometimes ago..." there was a rumor about a vampire assaulting young women at the backstreets, but none of them were actually dead. The only bad thing that happened to them was being anemic and amnesiac. "I didn't kill them, though. Anemic, yes, but other than that, they're not in danger. They couldn't even recall the things that happened to them..." then, he placed his hand on the base of his neck. "But they also got some strange bite marks on their necks too. That's why that rumor started..."

"And... you look familiar," Kakeru said as he looked at the girl. "Are we classmates or something?"

Kyo frowned grimly. "Well, that's better than dead," she said. She almost would've preferred it if they did die. Then the right choice would be simple: kill the evil vampire man. Now it was all morally-convoluted and raised questions of why this guy didn't deserve to live and don't be too fucking eager to deal out death in judgment because even the wise can't see all ends and shitting hell, there wasn't much Kyo could do.

And he'd told her that he was impervious to ice. Given her tactical info she could use against him if he got out of hand. Dude honestly wanted to not be a threat to anyone.

"Gah," she said, throwing her hands up in the air. She couldn't decide what to do with it, so she decided to sit on it for a while. She knew who he was now, and not to let anyone with tits be alone with him in an empty classroom. That was something. Figure out the ethics later. Yeah. Figure 'em out later. "Just--try not to do it again, yeah? And yeah, we're in the same class. I'm Kyo. You're--um... I don't really remember your name."

A pause.

"And we're getting really late for class now, so we should head back," she said, indicating the direction she'd been going. "You go first, though. I don't really feel like having you walk behind me right now. For obvious fucking reasons."

A bit of venom seeping into her voice with this last, and she winced at it. She was trying to be understanding. Really. She was. It just wasn't so easy. Kind of like how wading through wet cement wasn't so easy. But God damn it, she would try.

"Yeah, I was trying to search for our class, but somehow..." Kakeru looked away in embarrassment. "I... I think I'm lost. You see, my navigational skill is almost nonexistent. Usually, I have my map with me, but today, I forgot to bring that map..." after the girl introduced herself, Kakeru also did the same. "I'm Kakeru, by the way..."

Kakeru would always avoid this kind of situation, but this time, he could no longer avoid this. He needed help. "I know that you won't be willing to help me, but... please help me," he bowed. "And please don't worry about my vampire stuff. I think I can keep this urge under control..." he sighed. "But I understand if you're unwilling to help me. I'll find my way by myself, then..."

If he did that, he wouldn't be able to get into his class on time. In fact, he wouldn't be able to get into class until the end of the day. And that would be totally stupid.

"Oh, for the love of--just come on," grumbled Kyo, so irritated with the whole situation that she had to actively work to keep the Kansai out of her voice when she said it. She positioned herself behind Kakeru and started to push him along in the correct direction. "It's this way. And it can't be that hard to find, can it? All the third-year classes're on the third floor. I'd say that narrows things down a bit, yeah? Just stay where I can see you so I have a chance to duck if you lose control again, and we're cool. Cool?"

"Cool," with his straightest face, he gave Kyo a thumb-up while the girl was pushing him towards the correct direction. "Thanks for helping, Kyo-san..." he smiled to the girl. "And... I'm terribly sorry for the thing I did to you earlier."

"Yeah, yeah," Kyo said awkwardly. "It's cool. Well, no it's not, but I'll get over it. Jus' stop apologizin' before someone hears ya and gets the wrong idea."

Class wasn't even that far away, really. They were there within twenty seconds. A few other students passed the two on their way in, giving them funny looks. Oh, great. No doubt this would turn into some new rumor amongst her classmates about her "sleeping" habits...

"I hope you don't have a girlfriend," Kyo said quietly, so that no one else would hear. "If you do, tell her about me helping you find class before someone else goes and says something like--like we did it on the john, or something."

Which is something I'd never do! That's disgusting. Even I can hold it in long enough to get somewhere appropriate for that kind of intimate act~ Like the school library, or the nurse's office!

Kyo sighed. Her Persona seemed to really like that hentai she'd watched the other night. Kyo thought it was kind of bland, really, the animation was only just average but she had to admit the relative innocence of it all was sort of cute compared to the OH MY GOD DEMONS AND TENTACLES AND... stuff, that populated most of the hentai she watched.

...Why was she even thinking about this now? Damn it, she really needed to get used to being a one-man bicycle, didn't she... well, there was no harm in a little porn. Or at least she hoped there wasn't.
