"I'm an atheist." said Seiichi. "I just find romantic pursuits foolish and bothersome."

"You also don't have a good sense of humour and can't see a joke that's right under your nose, Sei-kun!" Yuzuki frowned. She shook her head negative at his second little statement. "A life without romance is bo~ring though. If you keep thinking that way, then you'll be living like a piece of cardboard for the rest of your life, you know! Is that what you want for yourself?"

"I don't care. Trying to have friends is a pain in the ass- you have to listen to all their damn sob stories 'n' shit. I just don't like people."

Seiichi pulled a laptop out of his bag and turned it on. "In my opinion, machines are so much better than people. They're logical, unaffected by emotions."

Yui let out a low whistle. "Aaaand the award for Misanthrope Of The Year goes to Seiichi Akamatsu!"

"Yui-chan, you say that like you're surprised." Yuzuki blinked at the girl. It was old news that Seiichi was eloping from all of humanity with his precious hardware. "But remember that humans don't die due to ESD. And machines are boring too. They can only entertain because of what a human puts into it. Remove the man controlling the machine and it's nothing but a bunch of chips and wires on a motherboard."

"Don't bother, he won't listen...he's too in love with his computer to pay attention to you." said Yui. Seiichi scoffed. "Don't be foolish. The relationship I have with my computer is strictly platonic and professional." Yui giggled- he was starting to take her wisecracks in stride.

"Well, that's a sad, sad life, but as long as you're happy, with it then fine by me~" She shrugged. The girl didn't really expect much out of Seiichi; he did keep his nose in his computer all day long. "But are you living a platonic and professional life, I wonder~? You have some hobbies outside of your computer, right?"

"...does this clockwork hand follow you... or guide you?"
"Just the one, eh? That's cool. Never let anyone tell you who to fuck, what to do when you're not fuckin' someone, or what to jam out to when you're doin' it. That's my thought on it."

Kyo Charinko muttered this sentence tiredly as she slumped out onto the scene in a directionless and random way, not actually looking at anyone. She'd come to school with a massive headache this morning... and it was gone, blessedly. But she had kinda, sorta, maybe fallen asleep in the girl's locker room after P.E. that afternoon. Like for the rest of the school day and the entire after school session. And none of the sports teams had club today so nobody had walked in on her the entire time. So now she felt that kinda feel you get when you take a nap after a sleepless night and then someone wakes you up after two hours and you feel like you need about sixteen more. Gah.

She was just glad she hadn't made any plans with Hotaru or Hiroko today. She'd feel like an ass if she stood those two up, even if were by accident. She didn't want to go home just yet, though, so she'd found herself veering off-course from the shoelockers and wandering aimlessly about the school.

Kyo moved past the other three with a drawn-out yawn that, as it happened, prompted her to close her eyes: so she did not immediately notice who she'd been talking to: the man whom she had dubbed "Darthie-kun" during one of her beer binges.

She, of course, was quite recognizable enough for anyone.

"Hi, Kyo-chan~ What brings you here today?" Yuzuki shifted her attention to the languid teen and gave her an amiable wave. Seiichi was starting to gain traction, which meant that he would probably be sucked back into solitude because of his human-hating sensibilities. The girl noted Kyo's listlessness. "You're not as energetic as you were that one time. Did you just wake up?"

Oh...it's the Drunken Floozy. thought Seiichi, looking at Kyo. Hope she doesn't recognize me and blab to the Student Council President...
