"Hm, well I'd love to stay and chat, but then I'd get even preachier. Besides, I have some ninja to catch! Stay safe and remember to make good life decisions! Have a good one~" Yuzuki grinned and gave the two of them a salute. She pulled out a pair of sturdy gloves and slipped them on before turning to sprint away. |

"There goes a rare breed of person..." sighed Hiroko, watching Yuzuki dash away. "I swear, she is both the sanest and the craziest person in this school..." Are you really one to talk about sanity? Shut the fuck up, Kitsune... Hiroko turned to Kyo. "So, where is this 'supplier' of yours?" he asked |

"Secrets are what make a woman a woman~" Kyo said tauntingly in response. She would share the wealth and she would let it all hang out, but she would never reveal to anyone where she got her booze. "Tell ya what. Things are a bit awkward at home right now because I kinda sort of dropped a knife and about half a liter of my own blood outside the front of the school yesterday and for some reason my parents are mad about that." Kyo's face went a bit sour. Someone had actually witnessed Kyo stabbing her own arm, so the most credible bullshit she could foist on her parents was that she had been really stressed that day, so she'd tried out self-mutilation and found it utterly lacking. The good news was, they believed it! The bad news was, they now thought she was emotionally unstable and she was currently in the process of convincing them not to push her into counseling. Damn that damnably damning butterfly to the damndest damnation pits of that place where people are damned when they're damned. "So I've had to hide my stash in a slightly awkward location. But I can have it to ya in maybe an hour? However long it takes to get from here to the--stash--" (by which she meant ruins) "--and to wherever it is you want me to get it to ya. How'zat?" Considering how Hiroko currently possessed the ability to use his own blood as a weapon, he wasn't fazed by what Kyo said. However, something she said before was eating away at him: "Are you a Persona user too?" |

"Ah, yeah. As of... the day before yesterday. And boy what a day it was. Hypnotized by a virgin-eating butterfly, I fight its insideous magic long enough to stab myself in the arm! Unfortunately its mesmerizing charminess was too strong for pain alone to dispel, so I fell under its influence and drip drip dripped a trail of my precious life-fluids all the way from the school to the most fell lair of its shadowy pets. It dropped me in its nest as a dragon drops a cow in the nest of its hatchlings, but! Before the Shadows could swallow me whole, I summoned a motherfucking videogame succubus and set one of the fiends against the other!" She said this with exaggerated, dramatic flair, like a drunk at a bar relating an epic tale of adventure and win that most certainly wasn't true. She thrust her index finger into the air to emphasize the final triumphant point. Then it fell limply to her side and she droned on in monotone: "Well, alas, that 'other' happened to be a certain really mean-ass monster thing that is apparently the shadowy incarnation of death, destruction, and really long, phallic gun-barrels. And I was so light-headed from blood loss at the time that my friend had to literally pick me up and carry me out with the Reaper on her ass the whole way. Don't feel so hot about that part, I gotta say. She--she took some pretty bad damage 'cause o' me." Her pesky Kansai accent slipped in at the end, but she clamped her mouth shut, crossed her eyes at her nose as if telling her accent to go the fuck away, and concluded: "So, yeah. Went back there yesterday to get into the swing of things. Met another newbie and got her out. If you ever meet this foreign chick in the ruins who likes to ka-bong Shadows with an electric guitar, tell her Kyo says hi. Also, a sheep threw a pillow at me and I learned the hard way that going commando under your uniform in the ruins is a BAA-AAA-AAA-AAAD idea." She made the word bad sound like a the sound a sheep makes. It had been hella awkward at the time, but in hindsight, that Sheep-Shadow had been fucking hilarious. And the pillow it left behind had been so soft and warm to sleep on... definitely worth it. Still. Sports bra. Life lesson, noted. Edited by The One True Nobody, Nov 16 2012, 05:42 PM.

"...huh." He noticed the slip in accent-as well as her reaction- and smiled gently. Hiroko didn't even flip out at the mention of the Reaper, which he normally would have done. It would seem Kyo felt guilty over a friend getting hurt by the Reaper as well. "My Persona's a fox spirit...and it's a serious asshole. Hell, it was encouraging me to jump." He sighed. "I hope your Persona's not actively seeking to ruin your life..." |

Kyo's eyebrows furrowed in confusion. "But if it's you and you're it and it wants you to die then wouldn't that kill it, too? ...Oh, right, if you want to die then it wants to die. But you decided you don't want to die, so it shouldn't want to die now, either, right?" ...Or maybe that train of thought was a bit tactless to be voicing out loud. Kyo decided it might be best to shut up. "Anyway, my Persona hasn't really said anything since I woke it up, so I dunno if it's a bitch or not, yet. It looks like Morrigan, you know, have you ever played Darkstalkers? Or at least Marvel vs. Capcom 3? So going offa that, it wants to have a good time, which is pretty much what I always want to do anyway, so the only way it could ruin my life by doing that is getting me so drunk that my liver dies. Or... or getting me pregnant with cent-uplets. Or maybe giving me a massive STD. Or forcing me to sex so hard that I have a heart attack mid-orgasm." She paused, scratching idly at her chin, seemed deeply distrurbed. "...Now that I think about it, my Persona could get me killed in a lot of ways. I need to be careful. Thanks for the head's up, man." |

Hiroko shook his head. "Nah, I usually play Minecraft or RPGs like MOTHER 3. Never played Darkstalkers." He was kind of intrigued by Kyo's thoughts as to how Morrigan could mess her up. Death by sex? That was an unusual one. "Uh...as of late I'm kinda wary about actually summoning Kitsune, but if you want to go to the ruins, I'd be happy to provide back up." said Hiroko. He shoved his hands in his pockets, feeling the nervous sweat that was beginning to coat his palms. |

"That'd be cool, actually. I only know two other Persona-users and only one of 'em well enough that I'd ask 'em to go dungeon-crawlin' with me," Kyo admitted. "So having someone else to back me up would be cool, yeah. If you want to, anyway. I mean, I have no problem with it, but if you're only offerin' to be nice then don't worry about it." Kyo flexed her arms and grimaced. "Not t'day, though. Still all sore from yesterday." |

Hiroko nodded in sympathy. He remembered getting hit by the Reaper's Almighty attack and how painful it was. He then remembered Kyo talking about her 'stash'. "Why do I have the funny feeling your stash is in the ruins...?" |
