"Oi, oi, is that a buff?" Madoka broke out into a laugh as Treo began to punch faster and faster to the point where he started to overwhelm Madoka. The boy assumed a guarding position and weathered the blows for a while longer before he shot forward with a jab before pushing himself back. He could feel his body aching, but there was a sense of hot-blooded satisfaction running through his veins.

"A bit of a boxer, you said?" Madoka shook his head in mock disbelief. He raised a hand to his face and clenched it, feeling the welcome rush of adrenaline. "It's been a while since I've had that much fun. It feels like I've remembered something that I've lost."

He moved his hand to scratch the back of his head. "I was giving you crap earlier, but you're a better person than you look, aren't you?"

Treo made a few mock punches. "I did a little back home. Nothing beats the old Queensbury rules." He shrugged his shoulders and sighed. "Though I did promise to stay hands off with the whole Persona skills. So it might be your win."

The reaction however, was his goal. Ever since he had seen the boy, he saw that same fire that had gone out. Another soul who had lost his way. He gave a grin. Wasn't this his duty? To help those that had lost their way?

"It depends, depends on what kind of mask I'm wearing." The teen gave a chuckle. "I saw a guy who had his fire burned out. You just needed something to punch. I happen to be apparently, very punchable." He chuckled to himself, as if caring about these things was below him. Not in any kind of egotistical fashion, merely as if they didn't matter.

"Like I said, it isn't really about winning or losing. I guess you did use your persona, but you put up a good fight. I don't see how that makes you a loser." Madoka said brightly as he cast a healing spell on himself. He sized up the taller teen. "I'm surprised at how sturdy you are, though. We both took a pounding, but you don't look worse for wear."

He supposed it had something to do with his Persona. Treo was apparently one of the very first to awaken, so it would stand that he probably had been clobbered way worse by the Shadows during his romps through the ruins. Maybe Madoka would reach that level of survivability one day. Imagine how much ramen he could pull in one day with that amount of endurance.

"Well, hey, I'm glad you did that for me. If I can do anything to repay the favour, then all you got to do is ask, alright?"

Treo gave another grin. "That's the right answer. Its not about who wins or who loses, its about who has the most fun in the end and I guess we both had fun there." He saw the healing spell and shrugged back. "You get this way when you've been fighting these things for a while. Its like training, except a lot more full on with the threat of death."

He grinned. "No problem. Though I do have a question, which I'm pretty sure you can answer." He held the card in his hand still. "The Chariot. Symbolizes moving forward. But what drives the Chariot?" He twisted the card in his fingers with a grin. "Answer that and you'll have the answer you've been looking for."

"Sounds like Plato's chariot," Madoka grinned at the Wild Card. "Harnessing a person's desire and steering it towards a goal is what that's all about. I guess, more than figuring out who the driver is, I should focus on where I want to go, huh?"

The boy stretched. "But that's a tough call to make. Maybe I'll stall a bit longer though. I'll just get stronger for strength's sake until I figure out what to put it towards."

Treo placed the card back into the deck. "The Chariot is driven by desire. The desire for more, driving you forward to your goals. Knowing that, should help you realise your answer." Then he shrugged. "At least, that's what the cards say."

The Wild card gave a smile. "Well, I suppose that's one course of action. Just don't let your tires burn out, alright? As for me, if you ever want to go a few rounds again, just say the word. You're not the only one who felt a fire inside there."

"Alright. Thanks for the fight. It's been a while since I've fought someone as stubborn as you are," Madoka said, supplementing his words with a thumbs-up. He turned to leave. "I got some stuff to take care of now. Maybe I always do. A chariot always has to keep its wheels moving, right?"

The boy grinned and walked off.
