The world. A place filled conspiracies and lies. Somewhere in the world lies Japan, a country of sinister plots and secrets. In Japan was Nagashima, a place where cults and conspirators gather. In Nagashima lies Taiyoutono, the supposedly first-rate public high-school that is no doubt filled with scheming and lying students eager to make their lives of fooling and decieving people. And through the hallways of the school, through the bustling paths of the after-school crowd of students, in a small room on the corner of the first-year building, lies the Conspiracy Club, where the person who thought of all this, the only sane man, was sitting all by himself, his head slumped on the front -and-center desk.

"This," Kazuya Nakamura sighed, speaking to no one really, "Was not how I envisioned things would go." Not lifting his head off the table, he looked around once more around the empty room, hoping for it to magically be filled with hopeful truth-seekers. Sadly, he had no such luck. Pouting again, he wondered what Tomoe was up to. She was supposed to be out there giving everyone the club pamphlets, but so far there was a grand total of zero newcomers going through that door.

Perhaps everyone in this school is actually already part of THEM!
He sat up straight, thinking of the posibillities of the school being knee deep in the conspiracy to do -- well, he doesn't know yet what they're going to do, but it's probably big. And terrible. He doesn't know who THEY are either, really, but he knows they're HERE, and they're out to get everyone. After a while he discarded the notion as silly. Some of these guys were just too stupid or too freaky to be considered a part of a conspiracy.

Why the heck doesn't anyone join, then? I mean, people should be lining up to discover THE TRUTH. It's like they don't even care. Sighing deeply once more, he stood up in frustration, walking over to the windows. The courtyard was filled with students happily chatting as they went on their way. Near the middle, a tall-ish, brown haired girl was dividing pamphlets among them, but few took them, and fewer still even gave them more than a brief look. "Stupid lying scheming plotting conspirators, just you wait I'll make sure all your conspiracies get revealed to the world..." he continued to grumble like this for quite a while, as was his habit. He honestly had half a mind to go out there and start pulling people to the side at random, asking them what they knew, but he manages to restrain himself... For now.

A conspiracy club? Seiichi would be lying if he said he wasn't vaguely intrigued. He had a sneaking suspicion that the guy who started this club was either one of those 'law-and-truth' freaks or just plain old crazy. Either way, he wanted to see how whacked this dude was. The computer hacking serial killer/anti-hero casually strolled into the small room. Seiichi scanned the guy- he had made a hobby of it. (Or maybe it was a habit. Or was it a compulsion? Whatever- he just did it often.) Judgment Arcana. This guy was of the 'law-and-truth' nutjob variety. Might as well make an introduction. "Hey, is this the Conspiracy Club? I swear, I'm not wearing a wire!"

"...And when I find them, I'll getARGH--" Kazuya jumps at the sudden introduction, being deep in his own muttering to pay any attention to the door at all. He turns around, eyes full of suspicion at the intruder. Looking up, he nearly went to full panic mode. "Who are you? Why did you say you're not wearing a wire? Are you actually taping this WHO DO YOU WORK FOR--" He caught himself before he could go any further, voice nearly a girlish shriek. With a shake of his head, he calmed himself enough to examine the person.

The newcomer was a relatively tall and lanky teenager, and compared to Kazuya was gigantic, which he immediately resented. His hair goes down to his eyes, which might mean he wants to hide something from his vision, such as conspiracies, and he carries himself rather sloppily, as if to lower one's guards down.

EXTREMELY SUSPICIOUS.

However, no spy would be so idiotic as to even mention a wire. Clearly the man was dangerous, but he was no spy. All that was left now was to decide HOW exactly dangerous this guy is. Straightening up, Kazuya cleared his throat and fixed the boy with a piercing gaze, which probably lost some of its potency coming from such a small individual. "I suppose you're here to join the club?" He said, suspicion clear in his voice.

Seiichi just stared at the screaming nutjob. "Dude. Lower your voice, I think my eardrums just burst." He watched the kid as he gave Seiichi a once over. "Well, I'm not sure. I'm just checking the club out. My name's Seiichi Akamatsu."

"Seiichi Akamatsu. I see." Kazuya then gestures to a seat nearby. "Well then, why don't you take a seat... Akamatsu-san." If that's your REAL name. Not saying that out loud, he sits on a chair across the one he gestured to and propped his elbows on the desk, all business-like. "I'd like to know why you're interested in this club at all." His gaze was ever steady on the boy, as if trying to bore a hole in his head.

Oh yeah, this dude is fucked up. thought Seiichi. "I've got nothing better to do, that's all. Tell me, why'd you start this club?"

A complete deflection, and a question of his own. Oh, he's good. "Why wouldn't I? The world is completely swarmed with bad and no doubt evil things happening where no one would know, and no one seems to care, even though it'll affect them. It seems nothing more than mere logic to gather like-minded, trustworthy people around me and work together to stop them." He said, his look giving the impression that he didn't think the other man was like-minded OR trustworthy at all.

"Honestly it's not a matter of why I started it, but rather why isn't anyone joining?" He asked more to himself than anyone else. "It's really a perplexing matter. Why wouldn't they..." He trailed off, glancing at the other man. Crap, he thought. I've given away too much. He decided it was time to go on the offensive once more! "B-but enough about me... Surely you can join other clubs if you're bored." And now for the decisive strike! "Tell me really. Do you also know about the lies everyone tells us?"

Seiichi grinned. Time to see where this loony stood on the big issue: Persona users.

"I'm not sure if it's a lie, but it is a popular rumor: people are saying that there are magic-users in Nagashima."

Kazuya scoffed at the mention of the rumor. Of course he's heard of it, and he did an investigative research into the thing. "Hmph, that's nothing more than a rumor. I looked up into it, and I only got inane answers. Secret ruins, black goo-ey monsters, men with masks... Nothing more than hearsay, of course." He shook his head condescendingly. "It's laughable, really. I mean, magic? In this day and age? At least come up with some plausible rumors. There are tons more possible things, like the government working with aliens, or America having sleeper cells in every major country, just waiting for the time to strike..."

"Of course, the frequency of these stories HAS gone up recently... And more and more people seem to be believing it." He put a hand on his chin, deep in thought. "I wonder... Was there something I missed? All the stories I've heard point to the small mountain near here... I suppose--" He caught himself once more. I really need to stop babbling to myself where everyone can hear! "I suppose you know something about this, then?" He turned his gaze back at the potential recruit. "You seem rather interested in this story alone."

"Well, I coulllld tell you..." sighed Seiichi, with a rather douchebag-esque grin on his face. His grin grew wider and he sat down.

"But then I'd have to kiiill youuuu~." finished the hacker in a sing-song voice. "I only know what I've been hearing, actually."
