Oh my God, I LEFT THE STOVE ON AT HOME!

Hiroko sighed inwardly. He had hoped to get Kinzaki's attention with the comedy club remark. Hiroko got the feeling that as long as Satosu was around, Kinzaki would be totally oblivous to him.

Satosu stopped, thinking for a second. "Well, it's ultimately your choice, but I think the drama club would be a nice choice. We're pretty casual, and I could try and help introduce you." He smiled. "We're always accepting new members." New members that weren't Hiroko. Ew.

He looked at his watch. "I think I've got time to head to that last club..." He continued walking to the next classroom.

"Ah, drama club," Kinzaki also thought about that for a second. "Well... I need to think about it. Thank you for the recommendation, Hasha-san," she said, smiling.

When Satosu said that he would lead her to the last club, Kinzaki nodded enthusiastically. "Yes, please do, Hasha-san. I'm looking forward to see it," she said. And Hiroko was right. As long as Satosu was around, Kinzaki would be totally oblivious to him. Poor guy.

A scheme to get rid of Satosu began forming in his mind: it involved a skateboard, a fifty pound anvil, and chocolate pudding. However, he lacked the time to set up the trap, and Kinzaki would most likely disapprove of said antics. Kicking the ground, he sighed. He really wanted to tell her how he felt, but was too nervous to do so. Besides, she was a girl of high social status and he was just that washed up loser with a fairly nice car who fell into a bonfire at a beach party...

Still ignoring Hiroko entirely, Satosu walked up to the last door, which was actually for the Gym. "They should be meeting today..." He opened the door, stepping in first and taking a few steps away so that Kinzaki could step inside without fear. Inside the gym, there appeared to be a group of students, wearing some padding, whacking at each other with wooden swords. "This is Kendo club. They do, well, kendo."

He frowned, looking around in the group. "And if I'm correct, she'd be... ah." He gave a quick wave, which someone in the group of Kendo students apparently noticed, stopping to stare at Satosu and getting a whack on the head as they did so. They seemed entirely unfazed, however, as if it hadn't hurt at all. Satosu gestured for them to come over, to which they responded with a vague, confused gesture. Satosu responded by simply gesturing more urgently.

He smiled at Kinzaki. "Hold on just a moment, the person I wanted you to talk to is here..."

"Kendo, huh?" Kinzaki looked at the group of students in the gym curiously. She had read many things about kendo (because she was interested in Japanese stuff), but she practiced fencing due to the influence of her late mother's family. She still had some love for her mother's heritage. "Ah, this looks very nice. I always wanted to see this with my own eyes," she looked at Satosu. "Thank you, Hasha-san."

When Satosu said that there was a person he wanted her to talk to, Kinzaki gave the boy a smile. "Very well. I shall wait here. I'm looking forward for it," she said in anticipation. And then, she looked at Hiroko. "So Hiroko-san, what do you think about this club?" she asked for Hiroko's opinion about kendo club. It seemed that she had noticed his presence after a moment of obliviousness towards such presence.

Thank you, Biased God. thought Hiroko. He shrugged. "I guess it's an OK exercise, but not really training like the ruins. You can't use your, er, abilities here..."

Abilities? That's your euphemism for Persona? I'm offended.

"Abilities or no, kendo's useful in a lot more ways than just exercise." The girl Satosu had been calling over made her way to the group. She took off her helmet as she did so, revealing a brown hair and a set of rather striking red eyes. Miyuki didn't even look at Kinzaki, instead frowning in disapproval at Hiroko. Did this kid know anything? "Reaction time. Agility. Strength. Combat is combat, no matter where it is, and having practice with an actual straight fight will be helpful for anyone, even if you were, say, a magic user." She shrugged. "Spells are strong, sure, but if they never hit anything, then what's the point?"

Pleased with her response, she turned to Satosu. "Now what do you - " Satosu proceeded to wrap an arm around her shoulders, pulling her closer to him with a grin. She blushed and looked away to the rest of the group, hoping they weren't looking, and protested a little bit, but Miyuki didn't seem to mind necessarily, smiling slightly despite her protests. "H-hey, get off me! If that's what you called me over for, then..."

Satosu proceeded to cut her off, leading Miyuki to sigh. "Kirihara-san, Hiro-kun," he gave the latter of the two a fairly pointed stare, "this is my girlfriend, Miyuki."

In the meantime, Miyuki had sidled out of Satosu's grasp, blush mostly evaporating. She didn't feel like looking at Hiroko, but Kinzaki received a curious look. "Aren't you that one girl who was wearing the yukata?" Word spread fast.

Kinzaki immediately straightened herself, stiffened slightly as Miyuki appeared and being introduced by Satosu. After her introduction, Kinzaki bowed in such polite manner. "Hello, Miyuki-san. My name is Kinzaki Kirihara, pleased to meet you," she said. So she's Satosu's girlfriend? Kinzaki made a mental note about it. "Hasha-san is very kind and a very good-hearted man. I can say that you're very fortunate to have him as your boyfriend, Miyuki-san," she said, smiling sweetly.

When Miyuki mentioned about her usual getup, Kinzaki blushed slightly. "Umm... yes, that's me," she nodded. "I know it's very wrong to break the school's uniform rule, but, well..." she looked away shyly. "But, I'm wearing a proper uniform now, so nothing is wrong anymore," she said, still smiling. And Hiroko's presence was once again ignored.

All the conversation began going in one ear and out the other for Hiroko the minute it was revealed that Satosu had a girlfriend.

A girlfriend? A GIRLFRIEND!?! YOU'RE ALREADY PAIRED UP WITH SOMEONE AND YOU'RE TRYING TO WOO KIN-CHAN? YOU BASTARD!!!

Kitsune grimaced at Hiroko's mental rage.

Good Lord, pipe down! My ears are ringing...

Wait a minute...you have ears? How is that even possible; you're just part of my psyche!

Doesn't mean I can't feel, scatterbrain...
