"Alright, this time, I'll make sure it works!" Clenching her fists, Kinzaki maintained her composure as she stepped into the school. A few hours earlier, one of her trusted bodyguards, Hana, had suggested to her that she should try to wear something different, something that wouldn't make her sticking out like a sore thumb. She usually came to school wearing her kimono, and almost every day, she never failed to to become a center of attention in her class (if not the whole school). So, today, she decided to wear the school's uniform instead of her kimono (with zettai ryoiki as a bonus). While she thought that the skirt was too short (she felt a bit breezy wearing the skirt) and she felt a bit uncomfortable wearing the uniform, she figured that she might need some time to adapt. Despite hearing gasps and whispers from other students, she thought that it was nothing and everything went just fine. "So, I guess it went pretty smoothly..." Kinzaki thought to herself as she walked out of her classroom. It's already lunchtime and she decided to walk around for a bit. So far, no one had asked her anything about her new appearance, so she thought that it was alright to wear the school's uniform. |

"Hey, Kinzaki-chan!" greeted Hiroko, waving at Kinzaki. "Where's your kimono? At the cleaner's?" |

Kinzaki stopped and looked behind. She saw Hiroko and he was waving at her. She just smiled before she bowed. "Hello, Hiroko-san," she returned the greeting. "And you shouldn't ask a lady that kind of question. It sounds like I only have a pair of kimono to wear everyday," she said with an innocent look on her face. |

"It was a joke." said Hiroko. "I'm a comedian, I make a lot of 'em." Hiroko remembered his uncle nagging him to get help with his rather mediocre science grades. He could use a tutor. "Hey, Kinzaki...how are your grades?" |

"You're making a joke?" Kinzaki frowned. Apparently, the idea of his joke didn't really reach her. "I don't understand that joke..." she stated. "Grades? Why do you ask, Hiroko-san?" Kinzaki asked. |

"My uncle's been hounding me to get a mentor, and I was wondering if you could help me study." admitted Hiroko. |

"Tut, tut, tut..." Satosu walked over, flipping his luscious hair and giving a kind, dazzling smile to Kinzaki. His gaze soon turned to Hiroko, most of the warmness melting entirely. "Hiroko Tachibana, third year, notable for being a comedian who is remarkably untalented..." He had stepped in between Hiroko and Kinzaki, keeping a close distance from the heiress and not caring nearly as much about distance from Hiroko. "And now, notable for not having good grades, either..." Satosu adjusted his glasses, making a face as though he were disappointed, despite having not even talked to Hiroko previously. "What, exactly, are you doing asking a first year to tutor you, a third year?" The real question being: 'why, exactly, are you doing asking a girl with a phobia of men to tutor you, you horny pig of a man,' but Satosu obviously couldn't say that out loud. "I'm sure there are other people actually in your grade level or even a teacher that could tutor you." He turned around completely, ignoring Hiroko after that last sentence. He smiled. "Also hello, Kirihara-san! We haven't spoken in a while. How are you adjusting to the school?" |

"Huh? You want me to help you to study?" Kinzaki asked. That question from Hiroko surprised her. Why would a third-year ask a first-year to tutor him? No matter how much she thought about it, it still didn't make any sense. But before she could say any further, Satosu appeared and stood between her and Hiroko. Kinzaki pretended to not hear what Satosu was talking to Hiroko, and she smiled as the second-year student turned to see her. "Ah, it's been a while indeed, Hasha-san. Thanks to you, I am doing pretty well. Things were a bit hectic for a few days, but I think I can manage myself these days. And now I'm wearing school's uniform too. How do I look?" she answered Satosu's question before she asked him his opinion about her new appearance. "How about you, Hasha-san?" she asked. She seemed to have completely forgotten Hiroko's presence as she talked to Satosu. Edited by Prince Arjuna, Jun 27 2012, 07:32 AM.

"Well, you're smart, and I already have your number so you could tutor me over the phone... I guess I could ask Seiichi, but, y'know, he's, well, Seiichi..." (in otherwords, an antisocial jerk) And then that bishie bastard showed his prissy face and called him untalented Untalented? Untalented? Those were fightin' words! This guy had no right to judge Hiroko's comedy skills. If Kinzaki weren't present, Hiroko would've beat the shit out of this arrogant jackass. "Hey, I don't see any other stand-up comedians here, so for all intents and purposes, I'm the best comedian in Taiyoutono, if not all of Nagashima. Unless, of course, you can best me in stand-up comedy..." Which will never happen... thought Hiroko. Edited by fearjunkie, Jun 27 2012, 06:31 AM.

Satosu was nothing but smiles and warmth as he talked to Kinzaki, despite still keeping his distance; a complete opposite of what he had been like with Hiroko. "That's good, that's good. Taiyoutono can be a rough school to fit into, so it's great to see that you're doing well." Especially since she seemed kind of off when he'd first met her... although, he supposed, that would help with fitting into Taiyoutono. He glanced her uniform over quickly, making sure not to appear too creepy or leave his gaze lingering too long. "You look fine, Kirihara-san. The uniform certainly fits you." He chuckled. "And, no offense meant, it is a bit more practical than a kimono." He was about to answer her second question when Hiroko decided to open his mouth again. Satosu made a face as though there was a fly buzzing about in his ear before sighing. "I... was doing fine, but this gentleman here is somewhat offputting..." He turned back around, facing Hiroko, thinking for a moment before responding. "Grandfather said this: even the greatest of artists never claim to be the best. Those who do are only being set up for disappointment." He tilted his head. "The joke about the third year asking a first year to tutor him was kind of funny though. But your execution was terrible." |
