WHERE THE FUCK IS MARIO
Treo felt like taking back the question, but a sort of bile fascination had him curious. The answer was actually to be expected. "Yeah. I can understand that as well. I used to live with my uncle before I realised I had to go somewhere, this just happened to be the first place he could score me an apartment. But I've been here a while, so I can tell you that you'll adjust."

He grinned slightly. "That's what I want to do. My dream is to just write books, something completely harmless and safe, because I just want to live my life." If that question had been asked a long time ago, Treo wouldn't have even given an answer. He felt like his connection to people was improving.

He thought over the answer. "I was born in England actually." He ran a hand through his silver hair. "The hair colour always throws people off. I think it says that I can..." He scratched his chin. "I guess it means I can pour a good cup of tea?" He chuckled again, resorting to his paper for a question.

"If you could be any animal in the world, what would it be and why?" He smiled. "Always a good question."

Kiyoko sighed. "I'm not sure I want to adjust..." Wouldn't that just make her crazy too?

His answer surprised her. "England?" Wow, with a name like that, she... she blinked. "Your name is pretty uncommon, and it doesn't really sound english..." She shook her head. "At least the 'treo' part of it, I mean..." She coughed. "Sorry, ignore me, just thinking to myself." Kiyoko chuckled a bit at the tea comment. "I don't really drink a lot of tea, I have to admit. Mostly coffee." Her best friend.

The animal question threw her off. "Uh..." She scratched the back of her head. "Probably... I'm not very creative, but just a housecat, I guess." Kiyoko shrugged. "They don't really seem to have many worries. They get fed, they can do whatever they want, they're usually well cared for... being a big animal living in the wilderness sounds kind of tough. I'm not really cut out for something like that, I think..." She paused before giggling quietly. "Although I guess that might be different if I was a lion or something..."

Her paper was brought up yet again. She seemed a bit more comfortable now. "Hm... If you could have one superpower, what would it be and why?"

Treo shrugged slightly. "Apparently its one of the codewords my parents used for 'Truth'." A long time ago, he would have laughed at the irony of a name like that. "Oh its fine, I get that a lot. I like to think it adds some 'Mysterious Stranger' aspect." He waved his fingers in a joking fashion when he mentioned mysterious stranger. "I couldn't hold a candle to Kumori-san in the tea department anyway. His tea is what keeps me going some days."

He gave a smile to her answer. "A housecat? Cats are amazing creatures." For a brief moment he could hear a voice in his head meowing once, as if to agree. "Being able to do whatever you want is a good feeling, even more so when you know you're going to be alright." He smiled a little nervously. "Sorry, I like cats. I find them interesting so I ramble a little." He placed a hand to his chin. "I think you would make a good lion." Giving a smile back to Kiyoko he thought about her question.

"One superpower.." He tapped his chin, hoping the answer would appear each time his finger impacted with his head. "I guess it would be the ability to stop time. I try to cram so much into one day that sometimes I wish time could just stop so I could get it all done.." He smiled back at his partner. "Especially all this make up work. I guess that shows me you can't really ever try and run from school." He looked to his paper and thought over the next question.

"Is there anyone you see as your Role Model? If so, why?"

A good lion? Kiyoko blushed. What the heck did that mean? Was it a compliment? An insult? What? Regardless, she felt as though she had to show gratitude for... whatever it was. "Th-thanks! I think."

She could definitely agree with his superpower, finding herself nodding in agreement as he spoke. "I know what you mean... Running a job and helping out at the library and regular school and... other things are keeping me real busy lately. I wish I could stop time..." Kiyoko laughed with a small trace of discomfort, although it wasn't directed at Treo. "Would make keeping track of my brother a lot easier too."

His question was interesting; her eyebrows raised. "A rolemodel? Um..." She scratched the back of her head. "There are... probably a few authors or something, but... Truthfully, I don't really have many? I mean, my parents were..." Kiyoko shook her head. "I haven't met too many role-model like people. I've always wanted to be one for Kyoishi, but I'm not too sure about that. Sorry, it's not much of a response..."

She looked down at her paper. "... Huh. What is more important: creativity or efficiency?" Interesting question.

Treo smiled at her response, it seemed that she didn't want to talk about her parents. At one point, he considered pushing that question, but he was a lot smarter than that now. To push that question would be inviting himself into looking socially awkward. "Not one for a role model, but you would like to be one for your brother?"

He tapped his chin. "Interesting. I hope you do achieve that someday." Now was his turn for the answer.

"Creativity. You could be the fastest and best worker, but without great creativity it would be pointless." He scratched his chin. "Least, that's what I think."

Looking at his paper he nodded. "Is there anything you want to experience before you die?"

Kiyoko sighed wistfully. "So do I..." Her awkwardness had been pushed out at some point between his response and the last question, and she was now fairly comfortable with this stuff. His answer left her somewhat surprised for reasons she couldn't explain. "Huh." She tilted her head. "But aren't both important? If we had a world full of thinkers, but no workers, everything'd move at a snails pace..." Kiyoko blinked, shaking her head. "Whoops, sorry, you're supposed to be answering, not me, hehe."

And then it came to be her turn to answer as Treo posed his question, and it was quite the question. "Before I die...? Um..." She scratched her head. "Kind of an extravagent goal, but I'd love to travel somewhere nice, like Europe or somewhere in Asia... Just somewhere where I can relax for a bit. Take in the culture..."

Kiyoko chuckled, a bit self mocking. "I'm kind of boring, aren't I?"

She pulled up another question. "If you had to live on an abandoned island, what would be the first thing you take?"

Treo smiled. "You can always add your opinion if you want. I agree though, I guess a balance would be better, but I've always valued thinking over working more." He gave a chuckle. "Might be because thinking is easier."

The teen gave an approving nod to travel. "My dad travelled a lot, my room was filled with all kinds of stuff from around the world. He was... always busy." He looked away for a moment before glossing over the entire statement in question.

Tapping his chin he thought over the next answer. "First thing eh? I think it would have to be a set of tools. With the right tool you can overcome any problem. Something my dad said to me a long time ago."

He looked at his paper, clearly getting into learning things about someone he barely knew. "Do you have any special objects you cherish?" He removed his black book from his pocket and laid it on the table. "Kind of like that?"

Kiyoko chuckled in return. "Thinking can be hard in its own way." His answer didn't necessarily surprise her, but it did make sense. Tools would be useful. She wasn't sure what she'd bring, though... tools? Wait, was she just copying his answer? Eh, tools were a good choice.

His question did catch her a bit off guard, and the black book was intriguing. But hey, she had to answer first. "Well..." She... did she have anything like that? Kiyoko shook her head. "Hehe, does my brother count? I've never really had anything like that. I'm... sorta boring, I guess." She shrugged. "I just never really got anything like that. I, uh... yeah."

She paused. She wanted to ask about the book, but... oh. Wait. "Well, let me ask you in return: Do you have any objects you cherish?" She gestured towards the book. "... Like that?"

Treo offered a smile in return. "It can be, so I guess neither are as useful as the other." Her answer prompted a nod, along with a warm smile. "I'm sure you'll find something you can cherish. Things like these have a way of finding their way to people." He placed a hand on his black book. It was a cherished object, but it was also full of shadow information and generally things that wouldn't go well showing to other people.

"Oh, turning round the question eh?" He chuckled. "I.. have a few actually. When I was sick a while ago a friend of mine gave me a handcarved photoframe. It still sits pride of place in the apartment I'm staying in. He told me to put a picture of my family in it... but I don't have one." Tapping his chin, he remembered about his gun, but chose not to talk about that one either.

"I like holding onto sentimental things... call it a hobby I guess." He grinned, then returned his eyes to the paper, thinking up a question. "If you don't have a cherished object, do you have a cherished memory? Like something you think about when you're feeling sad."

Kiyoko smiled and nodded at first, but the mention of him not having a picture of his family kind of put her off. A lot. She leaned away slightly, looking taken back. "O-Oh, um..." Should she have taken the question back? Granted, she didn't have any real fond memories of her family, and most of her fond memories of Kyoishi were... well...

And then Treo asked the exact question she was talking about, and Kiyoko practically froze. She bit her lip, trying to not making outwardly obvious she was clamming up. "U-um... Not really, next question..." She wasn't very good at it.

"Only 3 left..." They only had to do ten. She decided to go for something less personal this time, something that could have nothing to do with Treo: "What's your opinion on the, er, hate groups springing up in Nagashima lately?"
