Yes. It was the fucking library. It was not, however, the "fucking library." Conan was, as far as Kiyoko could tell, either gone for the day or later than what one would consider normal, so she'd been active librarian for some time at this point. So far, it had been a fairly simple job. She'd put back books that had been returned, took stock of which ones hadn't, and even took it upon herself to reorganize a few of the books that were in the wrong place. I have a good eye for this, she thought. The day got a bit more complicated around lunch, when she noticed two rather conspicuous students in one of the tables in the back. The girl was sitting in the boys lap, and this made Kiyoko rather tense; something like this wasn't technically allowed in Taiyoutono, but having to actually tell people to stop was - no pants. They weren't wearing pants. Kiyoko blinked. In fact, they were - oh. Oh. Then the two of them noticed that the student librarian was staring at them like a dear in headlights, so they stared like a dear in headlights back. Kiyoko was a bit too surprised to react; she couldn't even imagine other people exiting in the room. |

Kira had not been having the best day. She had decided to take Satosu's advice to heart and avoid thinking of Ryouta. In fact, she decided to avoid thinking of romance whatsoever. Naturally, this meant that it was couples day today, and she would be spending her shift later waiting on lovebirds with far more successful relationships with her, wondering why precisely they went to that cafe above all others even with the discount. After bumping into her favorite two lovebirds early in the morning (with how many times she had walked in on them, she was starting to wonder if it was rude of her to not have exchanged names yet), the track star had been forcibly ignoring everyone she could, and immediately ducked into the library when the bell rang in hopes of some privacy and time to cool her head. Naturally, life decided she wasn't doing poorly enough as it was. As she rounded the corner, she noticed a younger girl was staring at something with her mouth agape. Kira slowly closed her eyes, counted to ten, and glanced over to see what she was starring at. It spoke to exactly how much the teen had been through that all it garnered was an annoyed sigh. "Pull your pants up and get out. There's a closet on the second floor with a broken lock; try that." The words were more harsh than she expected, but she couldn't bring herself to care at that moment. Turning away, she smacked her head into the shelf in front of her, sending a large volume onto her head. If she had the energy to look down, she would have seen it was centered around advice for couples. Instead, she ignored the throbbing in her head in favor of checking on the poor girl who seemed frozen stiff. "Are you alright?" Edited by UserShadow7989, Jun 6 2012, 10:48 PM.

The two perfectly responsible students sat in stunned silence at Kira's sudden appearance, and were half considering taking her advice when Kiyoko spoke up, voice shocked and a bit more high-pitched than usual. "Th-this is a library! G-Get out before I report you to the librarian!" It didn't occur to her that she was currently the librarian until they had pulled up their pants and run away like scared children. Scared fucking children. Kiyoko sighed, rubbing her forehead. Wow, she hadn't... well, okay, it was Taiyoutono; at this point, she should have expected it. The makeshift librarian practically jumped when Kira asked if she was alright, turning around with wide eyes before finally relaxing upon noticing it was just a student concerned for her well being. "Um, yeah. I think." Kiyoko shook her head. "Just didn't... expect that." |

Charles was half-aware when he walked in, as he was nose deep into Paradiso by the time he stepped into the door frame. His eyes had dark circles under them, and he was spacier than usual. "But already my desire and my will were being turned like a wheel, all at one speed, by the Love which moves the sun and-" The boy bumped into Charles and flew to the ground. Charles took his nose from the book, stared at the boy's flushed skin, and the legs of the equally flushed girl who followed. His face turned into a strained grimace, as he flipped near the beginning of the book, and read from it. "Carnal sinners who subordinate reason to desire. Huh. This book truly is insightful. Oh, and they're whipped by winds until they cry for mercy, as well." Charles lifted the boy by the scruff of the neck, and threw him out of the library. He walked over to the other two, and yawned. "If only we could whip 'em for that, huh? You okay, kid? Not traumatized, are you?" asked Charles to Kiyoko. Dealing out the piousness today, huh? "There is no greater woe than in misery to remember the happy time, and that thy Teacher knows. People just doing it like that out of nowhere makes me sick." |

A weary sigh escaped from a certain blonds lips, as he finally poked his head out from around the bookshelf he had been trapped behind by the rather... intimate couples forray into the world of lovemaking. Honestly, a school library? Seigfried could think of a few dozen better places to do the deed, most of which were magnitudes more private and had a less chance of everyone in the school possibly walking in on you. Honestly... "Haaa, I was starting to get bored back here, theres nothing but history books..." |

"Yeah... I've walked in on people before. Never something you get used to." Or rather, something you should never HAVE to get used to, but here she was. Charles' arrival gave her a proper distraction from the building discomfort, and the brunette blinked when she saw the book he was reading from. Huh. Never would have pegged him as the type. "That might be a bit... severe." She noted, not quite sure if he was serious or not. A sigh brought her attention towards someone vaguely familiar. Geez, how many people picked today of all days to crowd around this area? Starting to feel sorry for those two. Kira tilted her head and examined the boy closer. Looks a bit like one of the people I awakened with, but it's not him, I don't think. That thought gave her pause. ...I really should have kept in contact with them all better. Other than Ryouta, I can't recall meeting a single one of them again after that. I hope they're not... She flinched. No. Maybe they just took the smart route and hauled ass before everything starting going to pieces. Kira shook her head. The subject was only getting heavier and heavier, and she had someone to help. The brunette turned to Kiyoko with a smile. "Maybe we should sit down and chat a bit, just to get your mind off it?" They could both use that, really. |

And then Charles walked up, who Kiyoko recognized at this point. She frowned. He was kind of concerned but did he just... "... Did you just call me kid?" Kiyoko tilted her head. "Aren't you a first year?" It was the height, probably. Being short tended to get her mistaken for a first year. Ignoring Seig, (students were apparently attracted to sex like mosquitoes to lights) Kiyoko turned to Kira, hesitating for moment. "E-er... well... I'm supposed to be managing the library..." She sighed, adjusting her hair out of her face. "Yeah, I could take a break." |

Charles nearly dozed off, his head bobbing towards the ground. Lack of sleep was lack of sleep. "Dammit. I'm kinda out of it. But the hell with the library, there's no one in here but a kid who reads too much, a German guy, and like one of the tallest girls ever. Take a break..." Charles took a seat in a nearby chair and leaned back, staring at the ceiling. "I love how... some of the ceiling is a bit... charred." he said drowsily, punctuating with a yawn. |

"... Why does everyone insist that I am German? He threw his hands up in the air as he plopped down into a seat across from Charles, shaking his head at no one in particular. I have said again and again, Im from Switzerland! Gah I should just go get a new citizenship and get it over with already." Another sigh, he was doing that alot today. "Well come on you two, sit already and relax, god knows you both need to after that little fiasco, and moreso Oliviera here" he gestured to Charles "who looks like he hasn't slept in a week, Götter you look like hell." |

Kira nodded at the offer and sat down on the same side as Siegfried. Not to be close to him, but so she'd have a clean shot at kicking the other boy's leg for his rudeness. It was only his yawn that prevented her from doing so. "...get some rest, man. I know better than anyone what lack of sleep can do to you." Rather than a kick, she tapped the toe of her shoe to Charles' shin, channeling a weak amount of healing energy through the contact so neither of the others would see it. She didn't know if they were persona users or not, after all. "Come to think of it, we haven't all been introduced to each other, have we? I'm Kira Kameko- no need for honorifics, I'm used to speaking without them outside of formal situations." She set the book down she had been thinking about checking out- a book about diplomacy and debate, minus the excessively unfortunate title her first foray into the subject had- on the table in front of her.
