"I can summon just a fragment of it..." Kumori said. He paused as he allowed his mask to appear. Afterwards, he quietly allowed Siddhartha to appear behind him, robed in orange and peaceful as always. "When you summon your Persona, you feel a surge of energy, right...? A sort of unity with it... A sense of harmony? Maybe...?"

A fragment? Kira glanced at the quiet boy's mask, and then his persona. "Well..." The brunette paused to think. She hadn't actually thought too much about the feel of summoning her persona. Every time she did, there was always something pulling her attention away from it- shadows she was fighting, wounds that needed healed, and so on.

Experimentally, Kira donned her mask and closed her eyes, trying to focus on her connection to Otohime. "Persona." A euphoria, dulled from experience but still very much alive, surged through her. The draconic stretched its snake-like body around the empty room before vanishing. Slowly, the brunette nodded. "I felt... focused. Calm. Protective. I'm not sure exactly how to phrase it, but I think that's the best way I can describe it."

Removing her mask and dismissing it, she looked over Kumori. "I'm guessing by your question that you don't feel anything of the sort?"

"Nothing at all," he said, dismissing his mask. "Aside from a nagging feeling. The feeling that there is a presence buried deep somewhere. Whenever I try to tap into it..." He shook his head. "I start to feel a sense of calm... But it always stops short of completion. I think that's how I feel."

He turned his attention back to the floor and continued to clean. "I'm not even sure that it's something that I can actively fix. To bridge the gap." The boy spoke thoughtfully. "...Do you think that this might become an issue?"

Kira thought for a moment. "...possibly. Maybe you should talk about it to someone, get an outside perspective? You might not have fully ascended, or something like that." Hadn't Naoya implied something of that sort in his interview with her? That seemed to be the case here.

"I can't say I've done it a lot myself- seems to be a problem of mine, really- but I've seen others do it and it seems to help out." Finished mopping, Kira sat down to catch her breath, once again offering the boy a water bottle. "I'm here to lend an ear if you feel up to it."

Kumori accepted the water bottle from the track star, smiling appreciatively as he brought it to his lips and drank deeply. He laid down on the damp floor with one leg crooked and the other straightened out. The boy closed his eyes and considered. "I'm not too big on therapy. It doesn't look like it's something that I can find from outside, if that makes any sense. Maybe... I'm afraid to be myself?"

His eyes fixated on one light overhead which flickered and hummed. He put one hand up to block it. "Then I'm holding myself back. something like that."

He flinched.

"It seems like I really am."

Kira sat down nearby, crossing her legs. "I see what you mean. Even so, saying it out loud can put it into perspective for you." She listened in silence as he tried to explain. Holding himself back? The brunette turned her gaze up towards the lights of the gymnasium, half to keep herself from staring, half to help her think.

"Hm. What are you afraid of specifically? That would make you hold back?" She knew she was treading on an inherently uncomfortable subject. "You don't have to say it aloud if it's uncomfortable. I know as well as anyone there are things you don't want to say aloud." Kira bit her lip. Now she was leaning towards her own issues.

"My persona... It just seems... Vast. In a way that I can't explain. To open up to it is like plunging into an endless ocean. That's how I feel about it. It was something that could do all of this," he said, glancing to the cleaned floors as he sat back up. Kumori stared listlessly at a wall. "I don't understand it. And it's tough for me to feel that way. All I've ever wanted was the-"

"Truth?"

A voice came from behind Kumori. Identical to his, but more peaceful. He didn't need any confirmation to know that the voice was very real. As he wheeled around, Kumori saw a flickering white spectre sitting with its back facing Kira and himself. "It will be tough for you to find it, but maybe you're looking too hard for me. After all, you can't get away from me."

Kira froze at the third voice, the chance someone had caught them speaking about personae openly sending a pulse of icy cold panic through her. What she saw when she turned around was only slightly less imposing. The figure was somehow wonderful and terrifying to her at the same time, its presence holding her attention perfectly as it spoke.

Otohime was easy to cope with; her persona was a part of her, and she knew from experience she was benign. Seeing someone else's persona speaking to them, on the other hand, made it easy to understand how frightening they were to the general population with only the park incident to go by.

She remained uncharacteristically silent as her mind slowly recovered, lasting until it finished speaking. "...I think... we share that in common, Kumori." Kira forced herself to lay down and look away from the figure. She needed to be calm. She was speaking to her friend, not his persona. "You're trying to force the answers to come to you, and pushing yourself way too hard in the process."

"Don't forget what you have and what you know right now. You've got people who care about you, and you ARE one of the smartest people I've ever met. Take some time to be happy with that between searches for the truth." She smiled. "You're one of the sweetest people I've ever met, and you've helped people just as much as I have."

Kumori allowed himself to break into a smile at Kira's kid words. He shook his head slowly as he felt some blood rising to his head, not enough to break into full blush, but enough to make his ears a bit pinker. "I appreciate it, but I'm not really that outstanding. But if Kameko-san says it, then maybe I have something to be proud about. I'll do what I can to just live in the moment."

The apparition sighed and shrugged, as if disappointed. Its voice chimed out as it flashed a bit brighter. "I was going to drop a tiny hint, but it doesn't look like I'll have to anymore. So." As it flickered, the Persona stood and stretched, a silhouette in white. "You have better friends than I thought. I guess that I'll cut my visit short, then. Good luck. And learn to be patient, okay?"

The light began to fade off as the silhouette reduced down to a ball of light. The orb pulsed as it diminished in size until it finally blinked out of existence with the sound of a chime.

"...Thank you, Kameko-san. I've always admired that sense of heroism that you've had and I think that I can appreciate it a bit more now that I've seen it first-hand. If I could make it up to you in any- ...ah," he paused as he remembered something. "You were supposed to set the track, right? I'll do what I can to help."

He began to get to his feet slowly, slapping his cheeks to try and wake himself up completely.
