Most students focused their attentions towards the sounds of footsteps as a petite girl, clad in traditional kimono walked down the hallway, being accompanied by two women clad in formal attire. She was wearing a pair of wooden geta, hence explaining the sounds of footsteps.

It was strange to see a student not wearing a school uniform, and it was getting stranger to see a student being accompanied by female bodyguards. The girl, along with her escorts continued to walk into the school, ignoring the curious gazes from other students.

"Kiyo-san, Hana-san, I think that's enough for now..." the girl, the heiress of Kirihara Clan spoke to her escorts. "I think it's alright to leave me on my own. I can manage to do things by myself..." she spoke to her bodyguards in polite and gentle tone. The female bodyguards looked at each other for a while before they bowed at her. Then, they left.

"Well... now, where to go next?" Kinzaki spoke to herself. After a long pause, she realized that she didn't know where to go. "Umm..." she looked at the group of students around her. "A-anyone? I-I need help..." she sounded desperate and a little worried. In an attempt to do things by herself for her first day at school, she found out that she was useless without her escorts around.

Satosu, predictably, arrived.

He had waited until the body guards were gone. The chick was wearing a kimono -seriously, a kimono- in the middle of school, so it was entirely likely that she was either really, really haughty or just had no idea what she was doing. Judging from the confused look on her face, she had no idea what she was doing. Satosu smiled. Perfect.

He casually strolled up to Kinzaki, flashing a warm smile and speaking in a kind tone. "Hello. Are you new here?" He put a twinge of concern in his expression. "Are you lost, perchance?"

"Eep!" Kinzaki was surprised as there was a boy came towards her. She instinctively took a step aback before she straightened herself. "Umm... y-yes," she admitted shyly. She was blushing, feeling so embarrassed because in an attempt to do things by herself, she couldn't do it right. "I do not know where to go, so please help me," she bowed. The way she talked also sounded polite, almost old-fashioned. She looked at Satosu again before she instinctively took several steps aback. Old habits never died.

Step back. Fear? Satosu frowned. That was odd. Blushing. Embarrassment. Bowing. Old fashioned? Her voice confirmed that. More steps back. Fear. Definitely fear. Fear of what? Him? Too specific. They'd only just met? Men? Possibly men.

He stayed a good distance away, even taking a step back himself, nodding silently at her as though he knew what the problem was. "Very well." He paused. "Where is your classroom? I can lead you there."

Kinzaki felt a bit grateful as Satosu maintained their distance. "Thank you for your offer. I'd like to know where Class 1-3 is," then, she realized that she hadn't introduced herself yet.

"Ah, I beg you pardon," she said apologetically. "I should have introduced myself earlier. My name is Kinzaki Kirihara..." she bowed. "I am pleased to meet you..." again, she spoke in old-fashioned way.

Oh, a first year? Adorable. Kind of. Satosu nodded when she introduced herself, giving a polite bow in return. "Satosu Hasha, second year. Pleased to meet you as well, Kirihara-san." He normally would have used 'chan,' but judging from how uncomfortable she looked, that likely wouldn't have been smart.

He turned around. "Follow me, class is this way." He began walking in the direction of class 1-3.

Kinzaki smiled. "You have my gratitude, Hasha-san. Please lead the way," she said before she bowed again. As Satosu turned around and began walking in the direction of Class 1-3, the Kirihara heiress followed behind from a safe distance.

Well, this is a first step, she thought.

He continued to lead her along, glancing back at one point. Yep, still at a distance. Most of the students at least glanced at her. It wasn't every day they saw someone in a Kimono. Satosu was paying close attention to her, trying to figure out what the problem was. He decided to inquire further.

"... So, Kirihara-san, is something wrong? You seem uncomfortable."

"A-am I?" Kinzaki asked, embarrassed. "I-I'm sorry, I'm just nervous..." she admitted. She tried her best to shorten the distance between Satosu and her, but when their distance was almost one meter, she immediately stepped aback, making the distance at least three meters.

"I am sorry!" she bowed apologetically. "P-please don't get mad at me!" then, she realized what she had done, and her face grew redder. "N-no... I..." she stepped back again. "Umm..." another step. "Well..." she averted her gaze as she stepped back again. Then she realized that the distance was almost ten meters. "Sorry..." she mumbled softly.

Satosu just kind of watch Kinzaki as she attempted to get closer... and then got further away. And even further away. And at some point she got to be ten meters away. Satosu sighed. That was some fear she had. He rubbed the back of his head, stopping and turning around. "It's fine, really." He smiled. "Scared of getting physically close to people?" It was rather obvious, although it helped that he'd dealt with something like this before.

Satosu shook his head. "It's fine.. But still, you should be closer to me than that. You might get lost, otherwise." He paused, then chuckled. "Although with that kimono, I wouldn't really have trouble finding you again."
