"W-well... it's not like I don't know about this stuff..." he used to hear about people gushing about this particular best-selling novel about wizards and stuff. "But... something like this is impossible to exist! What I really mean is that it's not supposed to exist at all in reality! It's just fiction! It doesn't make any sense at all!" he said, looking at both Harkens and Michi. |

"... Well I must say." Seigfried had just wandered up, still grasping a memo he had plucked off a wall on the way here. "I would never thought I'd see zis sport come to life. Consider me Beater number two." |

Michi nodded, and kept smiling like an idiot. "I get to hit things at people~" she said in a sing-song voice. |

"Reality is a subject that's up for debate, but not today. Anyways..." Clapping his hands together to get the attention of others, Harkens took a bat before laying down some rules up in here. "The name of the game is Hell's Quidditch. It's like the real thing, if it were played by soccer hoodlums. Anyways, the standard rules apply: You get the Quaffles..." He pointed over at a painted Medicine ball lying out of the field. "Into one of the field goals. To simulate Bludgers, I've got these babies set up." He then indicated towards the automated spud cannons set up around the perimeters. "Beaters are free to use their bats to strike the Bludgers at anyone nearby. Directly hitting players with the bats is against the rules. And finally we come to the role of the Golden Snitch." Walking over to the baseball attached to the airplane, Harkens explained, "Same rules apply. Anyone catches it, it'll be worth 150 points. The game ends when the Snitch is caught or one team is left crippled. Now, get into your positions everyone and let's go and make J.K. Rowlings regret everything she's ever done. Moving his way up to the bleachers, Harkens had the remote on his hand as he watched the players get ready. Edited by Vect, May 18 2012, 09:34 AM.

Karim wasn't sure what to talk. Should he decline to play, that's kinda rude, and he wasn't usually rude. So, despite having his conscience repeatedly telling him that this kind of thing was absolutely, ridiculously, stupidly and utterly crazy, he had no choice other than to play along. "Right, let's just get this over with..." Karim sighed. "I hope J.K. Rowlings won't sue us for this..." he added. "What to do?" |

Michi picked up her bat, eyeing the spud cannons cautiously. "Hmm... so not as predictable as the Bludgers are in the actual game, huh?" She shook her head and hoisted her bat over her shoulder. "Well, time's a-wasting. Let's go already!" |

"Indeed, we are wasting precious daylight plaudernd," Seigfried glanced over the bat he had been given and took a quick look at the cannons placed at the edges, before breaking out into a wide grin "when we could be knocking potatos at unsuspecting foes... no? Also," the blond leaned on his bat slightly, glancing around at his fellow students "I'm sorry, but I don't actually think I know any of your names? If a quick round of introductions would be okay, I'd rather have a name to shout, not just a role, ja?" |

Looking over at the field, Harkens was quite frankly disappointed at how many people actually came. He's never been much of an advertiser, at least when it came to Wizarding sports. Still, it seems that no one was in a rush to get the game started (not even the jobbers look like they're giving half a rat's ass) so he might as well let them take their time. Still, next turn he probably really has to start something lest he postpones it out of boredom... |

"Just call me Karim..." Karim sighed as he introduced himself. Then he raised his hand. "I'm sorry, but I am really confused right now and I don't understand any of this. Will you be kind to explain... again?" he asked Harkens. |
