"R-Ryouta?" Kira sat up, blinking. She felt the mood of the room rapidly shift towards awkward and uncomfortable. ...no, I need to get over it. The brunette swallowed a lump in her throat and was about to speak when the boy's hair started chirping. She stared incredulously for a second before she remembered exactly who she was dealing with and what city she was in. The discomfort fled her features in the wake of a giggling fit. "I-I'm fine, just got a little overworked, is all." She smiled to the unlucky boy. "It's good to see you again, Ryouta." It may not have been the relationship she had wanted, but the more she thought about it the more she was certain that she was lucky to be able to call him 'friend'. "I want to apologize for how I acted at the park. I really could've taken it better than I did; it was just poor timing, is all." She glanced at the fruit basket after Manabu's confirmation, searching for the prized sphere of vitamin c. Before she could say anything else, Kaede kicked the door in. Kira flinched, expecting the girl to give her an earful for being irresponsible. She was not expecting the girl to kneel next to her and politely ask her how she was doing. The brunette smiled, if somewhat bitterly. "Well, I'm in the hospital. That's normally not conductive to feeling well." She chuckled. "In all seriousness, I'm fine. Could be a lot better, but I could be a hell of a lot worse. Feeling pretty loved right now, which is always nice." She had been so wrapped up with Ryouta and Kaede that she'd failed to notice the arrival of... It took a few moments to recognize the girl. Ah! That's right, I haven't seen her since me and Tsukasa started sparring seriously. The teen reminisced with a big grin on her face. Man, has it been that long already? "Hiya Yuzuki-chan." She murmured a quiet thanks at the card, actually blushing when the excitable girl reinforced how many people were worried about her. "It's... it's very nice, yeah." She rubbed her eyes. Just a bit of dust, yup. Wasn't crying. "I knew she was wrong." In order to distract from it, she turned to Miyuki and nodded. A bit late to respond to her comment, but... "An insane asylum, huh? So it's basically like Nagashima, but on a smaller scale?" She chuckled. "But yeah, I think I could stand to visit a therapist again. I haven't visited one since the debacle with the wings and tail growing out of my back. As a matter of fact, this city could use a lot more therapists with everything nuts that goes on in it." Someone echoed the sentiment she needed to take more care of herself, earning a nod. That was when she realized who was speaking. Kira jumped a little at Kaji's arrival. Even after her ambush, he was still concerned about her? The teen composed herself and gave him a grateful look. "Right. I gotta be more careful. I'm sorry for worrying all of you." The door opened again, much to Kira's surprise. How many more people are coming? We've got so many already... The person in question was one of the people she hadn't been expecting. Treo had been making efforts to better himself- that much she was convinced of now- but she hadn't realized the boy would worry about her as well. Catching the glance between him and Akiko, she got the feeling they didn't get along. She could understand that. Giving up her search for the illusive fruit, she opened the box the silver-haired boy gave her and was surprised by the contents. Treo can cook? Goes to show how much I still have to learn about him. Another faint gurgle convinced her to start eating. She didn't mind the occasional salad, really. Akiko's comment got her to pause between bites long enough to chuckle herself. She swallowed her mouthful before responding to Treo. "I'll keep that in mind. My movie collection is probably getting pretty lonely lately, anyways. I'd also been planning to attend Drama club more often for a while now." Kira took a fer more bites. It was good to hear confirmation that the secondary home was doing so well. The cowboy's advice got her to pause. She didn't want to think of the others simply as takers, even if that was the way she had been acting (and exactly what her shadow was insisting). Better to evade the specifics. "Thank you." The teen looked over the group again, a part of her still trying to wrap her head around how many people had gone out of their way to check on her. Eight. Eight so far, and she had a feeling this was only the initial wave, not to mention those that wouldn't make it for assorted reasons. Looking at the group itself, though, did manage to worry her. Miyuki and Manabu. Akiko and Kaji. Akiko and Treo. Kaji and Kaede. Ryouta and herself. It was just asking for trouble. The only way it could become a bigger powder keg was if Sora walked in- Kira paled. I didn't finish that thought! It doesn't count! She glanced over at the door with a small amount of worry. M-Maybe it'll be Tsukasa instead! Yeah! Or Flower-chan! |

"Don't worry about it Kira." Ryouta responded with a smile. "I just want you to take care of yourself now." The birds in his hair continued chirping, though one of them got out of the nest and started flying towards Manabu. God knew why. "Hey, who kicked open the door already?" Tsukasa asked, stepping into the open room. Dammit it all. Kicking down the door was her thing. It was the little things in life that brought you the most joy after all. Having entered the room, Tsukasa marched her way over to Kira's bed, holding a rather poorly made get well soon card that appeared to be made out of...um...wood? It was more like a get well soon plank. "Here you go Kira!" Tsukasa happily said, presenting her carved token of affection to her older friend. "You better get well soon. You're mask pink after all!" She paused and looked around to see who else had come. It was really nice to see so many of her friends there! As she looked around, her eyes stopped on one individual; Kaji. She stared at him for a bit before quickly looking away. Sora chose that exact moment to walk in. Surprisingly, the room was already quite packed with people who came to visit Kira. Well, it was rather unsurprising in retrospect after all. Kira was actually well received. Sora sighed. Being around so many of the Persona users made him a little nervous. It wasn't like he had accidentally tried to murder any of them recently or anything. Staying at the 'Persona apartment' appeared to at least be having some positive effect. The nightmares still came every night, but he was finding that he could usually get at least 1 or 2 hours of actual sleep in, unlike the zero from before. It was a miracle he hadn't passed out like Kira had. He wondered if she was having nightmares like him. Sora shook his head in order to wake himself up a little. He couldn't do much about the tired look on his face, but he'd be able to put on a show at least. I guess night terrors are contagious... Sora sighed. Eventually he'd have to go talk to Kira, despite the presence of the others in the room. He'd simply try to ignore them for right now. He finally worked up the nerve to walk up to Kira's bed, tossing a small bouquet of flowers into the girl's lap. "You know Kira, it's a shame I wasn't there to be the one to whisk you off your feet and deliver you to the hospital." Sora said, rather melodramatically. He smirked. "You know, I wouldn't have had any problem nursing you back to health~" |

Holy shit, this room was getting crowded. Kaede was starting to wonder if maybe she should have come at a different time. This room was a powder keg waiting to explode. The only thing that could make this better was if Kaji walked in and-- Oh. Yep. There he was. Kaede rather noticeably scooted toward the wall when Kaji made his way over to Kira's bedside. She wasn't entirely sure if she was ready to face him again after their last encounter at the river. Manabu frowned and looked up at the bird that had flown at him. He turned toward Kira. "Kira-chan, there's a bird nesting in my hair. I'm not entirely sure what to do with this." Ignoring the bird for the moment, he looked around at the gathered group. "It looks like everyone from the apartment is here... except Nakagawa-san, of course. Though he doesn't seem the type to get along well with others." He pulled a grape off of the bunch in the basket and held it up to the bird, which proceeded to eat it. "Not particularly fond of him personally, anyways. He kept trying to give me detention for running an unauthorized club. Self-absorbed piece of..." |

Yuzuki snapped her fingers and drew something from a tote she was carrying. It was a silver, slightly beaten thermos that obviously occupied the bulk of the space in the tote. Heavy-duty, from the look of the bite marks and claw marks all over it. She set it down on Kira's lap. "Kumo-chan said to bring this your way~ Apparently, catnip tea helps with sleeping!" |

Miyuki chuckled. "Yeah, kind of like Nagashima. Only I'm pretty sure the people in the apartment aren't that evil. The guy who came in recently, uh..." Conveniently, Sora walked in right that second. Miyuki turned around, surprised. "Oh. Mori-san." She would have said something, but then Sora started hitting on Kira. Not entirely sure what to do, she just kind of ignored it. Kaji caught the looks and awkward reactions towards him. He should have expected this to happen, but on the other hand, he hadn't expected all these people to be in Kira's room. He nodded briefly towards her before turning around, silently taking his leave. |

WHERE THE FUCK IS MARIO
|
Treo gave a smile at seeing Kumori's gift. "That's Kumori-san for you, always got a tea for every occasion." He gave a soft sigh looking at everyone in the room. They were all important and a long time ago he would have been plotting their downfalls. But that was the past. Almost to bring Treo out of this trance Akiko tapped his shoulder and motioned to Kaji. "Yer think I should go after him?" He whispered to the Teen, trying to be quick so they didn't become the center of attention. Treo shook his head. "No. Let him recover first, I know what its like to be public enemy number one. Try to talk to him alone if you must." Treo covered his whisper with a grin. "Ah, Sora-san, are you feeling any better yourself?" Akiko met Kaji's eyes and gave him a nod. It was one of those silent signs that showed he still trusted the teen, but did he trust him in reply? That was something for another time. A rustling from overhead showed they weren't truely alone. One of the tiled roof parts slowly shifted back until it was replaced with Ayane's face. The Snakegirl lowered down a gift onto the bed. It seemed to be something other than an animal for once. The box contained a chocolate cake, detailed with a dragon made out of icing. "Get well soon Dragon-chan!~" Looking around she waved at everyone below, before noticing Yuzuki. "Yuzu-chan~ Did you like my entrance, I spent ages thinking this up!" Moving her attention back to Kira she smiled. "I know I haven't spoke to you much Dragon-chan, but get well soon! You're one of the super strongest of us and if you get ill then the bad guys might think we're getting weak!" Ayane moved away from the roof tile, dropping down at the back of the room. "Hi guys!" |

Ryouta's comment earned a shy smile and a blush Kira was struggling to repress. He meant it as a friend. He meant it as a friend. Don't read into it. Thankfully, some distractions managed to make themselves known not long after. A bird flew from the boy's hair towards Manabu, deciding to take a spot in her roommate's hair. The teen chuckled. "Just don't make any sudden movements. If you want it out, gently brush it away, maybe project a weak bit of wind energy from your hand to nudge it so it won't peck you." The shout from Tsukasa turned the chuckle into a full on giggling fit, the sight of the get well soon plank not doing anything to help it. Kira accepted the gift with a broad smile. "Thank you, Tsukasa." She quickly reached out and put a hand on the excitable girl's shoulder when she caught the shift in her demeanor. Kaji had some things to answer for, but it would be best to let him work it out rather than barge in on the situation. At least it wasn't- Her eyes stopped on the dark haired boy, causing her to flinch in surprise. She caught the flowers with a small bit of shock- that was not something she had gotten often, especially not from a flirt. "T-Thanks." Her blush returned, positively luminescent at the suggestion. "You've been looking like you need someone to take care of you, too. Don't go putting yourself in the room right next to mine, okay? You're just starting to improve." Kira jumped as the thermos brushed against her, having been completely distracted by Sora's comments and gift. Shuffling the plank and the flowers into one arm, she carefully opened the container and took a sip from it. "That's good; I'm gonna need it until I get back onto my feet. Thanks, Yuzuki-chan. Can you tell Kumori-san I said thanks too?" Another sip. Dang, that was surprisingly addictive. The teen took a deep breath as she finished, placing the cap back on the thermos to keep it safe for later. She finally plucked a grape from the fruit basket Manabu had brought, and chewed it thoughtfully. Growing up on American-sized portions meant that when she was hungry, she was HUNGRY. Miyuki's comment got a smile. "You know, I never thought about that. I always considered Nagashima's population leaning towards stupid to the point of being criminal as opposed to outright malicious evil. There are a bunch of good people here, too. Maybe a bit misguided at times, but they have the best of intentions." As if to emphasize the comment on good people, Kira returned Kaji's nod. Hopefully he got the implication. Treo's comment about the gift convinced Kira to drink more of the tea. She quickly opened it again and sipped at it, then closed it once more. And then there was a cake on her lap. D-Dragon-chan? The brunette froze and looked around, until an instinct that had been drilled into her by dealing with flying shadows told her to look up. "Ah!" She jumped a little at the face before recognizing the face. "Ayane-san?" The teen hesitated for a moment. Was she still crazy? Probably not, or the others would be freaking out. The comment about bad guys made her drop the concern entirely- she was like Tsukasa, really. "Thanks, Snake-chan. I'll make sure to get better, then." It took a tremendous amount of will power not to just mash her face into the cake. |

"U-uh sorry about that Manabu-san," Ryouta said, waking over towards Manabu. "I can try and get it out of your hair if you would like." Then more high pitched tweeting erupted from Ryouta's hair as something hatched. Apparently there were now two or three baby birds in his hair along with the mother. Ryouta sighed. He would have to take a very, very long shower later. For now he'd just try to ignore it. Tsukasa was proud her gift was so well expected. She'd spent a whole 45 minutes with a chainsaw after all. She watched Kaji as he exited the room, tempted to follow him out. She decided against it though. It was too soon for her. "Well I smell better at least." Sora said, responding to Treo's question. "That's certainly something isn't it?" And then Ayane made her audacious entrance. Man that snake girl sure was crazy. Then Sora returned to harassing Kira. Her reaction was rather pleasing. Better than he'd expected at least. "Oho? You're getting all red Kira. Do you have a fever? I might get to nurse you back to health after all~" His smile got a bit smaller when he heard her comments. "...I'll take care of myself. Though the prospect of you nursing me back to health is certainly attractive~" |
