Tamago, after being discharged from hospital, decided to take a walk at the mall. Due to her injury on her right leg, she was forced to use forearm crutch to properly walk. She sighed because she really couldn't help it.

The energetic girl looked around, and people around her seemed to be fewer than before. Well, perhaps people were busy doing their jobs at homes? It's not like she cared, though.

While walking with the help of her crutch, she was busy thinking about many stuff. She seemed to avoid the ruins entirely due to her horrific experience there and Pan seemed to prefer to stay silent for the time being. She also thought about those who rescued her, Charles and Kakeru. And she also thought about Tomatsu. Well, her head seemed to be quite busy at the moment, and she didn't realize that someone was standing on her way.

"Oof!" as she realized it, it's already too late as she bumped at someone. She lost her grip on her crutch, which made her fall. "Kyaa!" she cried as she fell. She helplessly tried to get up, but without her crutch, it was so hard and painful. "Someone, help me~!"

Naoya flinched when someone walked into his back. The boy squawked and lost a grip on the bag of electronics he had been carrying. Granted, he had stopped to look over the receipt, but still, when he had paused a moment ago, no one had been immediately behind him.

"Hey, who th' he...why don'tcha watch whe...oh," he saw the girl sitting on the ground, crying for help, and immediately felt like a terrible human being.

He got down on one knee next to her, holding out a callused hand to help.

He looked over, just a short distance away was a bench. He could hand her the crutch directly, but it would be difficult to get up from the ground with just that. Best to get her on to the bench and then give her the crutch.

"Sorry 'bout that, sh...shouldn't've stopped like that 'n blocked th' way. Here, let's get y' over t' a bench. Good idea, sounds like?"

Briefly, he wondered whether a diarama would solve the issue. But, then again, it might cause her to panic to be subjected to a spell without her consent.

Tamago looked up at the boy she bumped into. He spoke funny, she thought. Smiling, she took the boy's offered hand, taking it. "That's okay. I'm sorry..." she said as she tried to get up, only to yelp in pain due to her injury on her leg. "P-please bring me there," she said as the boy told her to get her on to the nearby bench.

Naoya shifted so they were side-by-side, slung her arm over his shoulder, and pushed them upright.

He slowly walked over to the bench, and deposited her onto it. He then went and grabbed her crutch and his bag, heading back over. He set the bag down, and handed her the crutch.

"Y'doin' okay? Not too hurt are you? Sorry. Shouldn't've blocked th' way. Sorry."

He reached up under his hat and scratched his temple.

Tamago giggled as the boy helped her to sit on the bench before he handed the crutch. "Ah, thank you so much," she said thankfully. "A-and I'm sorry, I didn't look." She sighed as she rested herself on the bench. "I'm alright. Thank you for helping me."

"My name is Tamago Hayase, by the way. What's yours?" she asked.

"M' name's Naoya Imoto," he said, giving a slight bow, "what, uh, happened t' the leg, if, y'know, if y' don't, uh, mind me askin'?"

He removed his hand from his head, making an effort to keep his hands still. She seemed to be another Taiyoutono student, but he didn't want to make any assumptions about that, or about whether she was a persona user.

Tamago gazed down. The boy might don't know this, but the matter about having her leg shot and got herself in uncompromising situation wasn't a good thing to tell others. It's quite a touchy subject.

"I... I'd rather not talk about it," she said timidly. "Sorry for that."

Naoya held up both of his hands, quickly moving on to damage control:

"Don' mean t' pry 'r anything. Just a little curious's all. I guess I can be a bit lackin' in the social graces department from time t' time, but I don't mean anything by it, sorry t' make y'uncomfortable."

He picked up his bag, and gave the receipt another once over.

"That's okay," Tamago smiled before she looked at the bag he picked up curiously. "What's in the bag?" she asked.

"New battery f'r a camcorder, some cables 'n whatnot. I'm the entirety of th' Taiyoutono AV club, 'n I got a bit of a budget, so I just, uh, just figured that it might be a good time to switch up t' HD. Y'know, join the twenty-first century and all. Whatever th' hell that means. They just, hrmm, y'know, saw that I had a camera I was carryin' around one day an' decided I'd be it."

He hoped he sounded like he knew what he was doing.
