Normally, a normal people would be rattled after hearing what Treo had said, but Kakeru just smiled as politely as always before finishing his meal. He set down his chopsticks and looked at Treo while smiling. "Indeed, Treo-san..." he said, nodding. "That's the point of life, isn't it? While moving on, we learn things. Not learning a thing is the same like not living at all..." Isoroku just nodded as she listened to what Kakeru was saying, which sounded rather philosophical. "Not learning a thing is the same like not living at all. An undeniable truth..." "And I believe you'd agree with me, Treo-san." Kakeru looked at Treo with an expectant gaze. "Or, would you rather have a different opinion?" |

WHERE THE FUCK IS MARIO

Treo gave a smile, the bait had been taken. "Moving on does help you learn things. However." He smiled, as if he had just received all the answers. "No-one can escape their past, learning to accept what you are is how you move on. Once something is done, it can never be undone." He nodded to Kakeru. "I believe that's right Kakeru-san, provided one does not forget who they are." His eyes belied his smile, they were cold and piercing. It was something that shone through whenever Treo thought he had the answer, a true show of his face. Piercing cruelty. |

"Hmm..." Kakeru nodded before he sipped his Chinese tea. "I'm glad you'd think that way, Treo-san. I cannot agree more to that," despite of what he said, he continued looking into Treo's eyes. Like before, he still didn't believe the hatted guy, and he would always remember that if words could be deceiving, eyes couldn't. Kakeru himself was nothing but a no one, and the one he displayed to others was a facade that people needed to see from him. It's just like a reflection in a mirror. And of course, he is a mirror. And he's got a feeling that Treo was also the same, a mirror, but with some differences. Both were still mirrors, though. And what would happen if both mirrors were trying to reflect each other? A display of endless loops, ad infinitum. And the difference would be the ones that were behind the mirrors. If Kakeru's had none, so what's behind Treo's? |

Treo gave a nod in reply. "I'm glad you agree as well. Its been a long time since someone has been able to understand my point of view." His eyes softened, as his answer had not been found. The teen had noticed the same look in Kakeru's eyes, but nowhere near as cruel. Perhaps they were the same, mirrors that reflected a personality back, something to believe people were talking to someone normal. But Treo had the upper hand with his multiple personae, the gift of a Wild Card allowed him to be whoever he needed to be, to reflect a companion, a friend, someone you could trust. But Treo couldn't reflect a mirror. |

Kakeru noticed Treo's eyes softened, and perhaps it would be wise to change topic. He looked at Isoroku, smiling at her. "Ah, I apologize for leaving you out, Mayoi-san. Perhaps just looking at a discussion between two boys isn't that appealing, right?" he said. Isoroku blushed. "N-no, i-it's quite alright." She looked down at her now empty plate. "I-it was enjoyable to see both of you saying such deep things. I-it makes me think more about many things," she looked up, meeting Kakeru's gaze. Quickly, she looked away in embarrassment. "Umm... I wish I can be good as you two, Kagami-senpai, Ashdown-senpai." "No, you're good too, Mayoi-san," Kakeru said, nodding. "When I see you reading, I could see an insatiable desire for more knowledge, as if you're trying to absorb everything you're reading. It is amazing, believe me..." Isoroku blushed, looking down. "T-thank you, senpai..." she smiled despite her blush. Hearing her senpai giving her a flattering comment made her heart fluttering in happiness. Edited by Prince Arjuna, Feb 4 2012, 08:21 AM.

Treo smiled at his comment. "I suppose to someone else, that is rather boring. Apologies Mayoi-san." As she continued, Treo finished off his meal, before adding a point after Kakeru's. "I haven't personally seen you cook yet Mayoi-san, but you hold a deep respect for each meal, I could tell from the pride in your voice." He smiled to Kakeru, his eyes not different to the face. "Perhaps we should discuss something Mayoi-san can partake in." |

"I do agree..." Kakeru nodded. He looked at Isoroku expectantly. "Umm... I don't know what to say," Isoroku said shyly. "M-maybe... umm..." she looked away, trying to hide her embarrassment. "H-how about books?" she asked with uncertain tone. "That would be nice," Kakeru smiled before he heard something. It was the sound of his cell-phone, which he had given to Isoroku earlier. "Ah, it's mine, isn't it? Mayoi-san, would you please hand me my phone?" he asked. Isoroku nodded before she handed the boy his phone. "Ah, excuse me, it's my grandmother..." he rose from his seat, going away from the table for a few minutes. A few minutes later, he returned. "Ah, I apologize, Treo-san, Mayoi-san. It seems that my grandmother needs me for this moment, and I have to return immediately." Then, he called for the waitress, asking for bill. After paying for their meals (including Treo's), he looked at Treo. "It has been a pleasant day, Treo-san. Perhaps we can do it later, then." "S-senpai, let me walk you home as well," Isoroku shyly suggested. "Of course, Mayoi-san. Grandmother would be pleased to see you," Kakeru smiled. "And for you, Treo-san," he gave the hatted guy a slight bow. "Till we meet again." |
