I've been having a bit of trouble lugging around my shield lately. I'm not that strong physically, and I'm worried the weight will end up knocking me over when I block something with it rather than protecting me.
I was wondering if you could make me a shield that's a bit lighter without sacrificing too much durability- I can make up for some getting lost with Rakukaja, but I don't want it to be completely useless on its own either.
On top of that, I'm hoping to get a pair of armored grieves for my feet, since I've recently learned how to throw a good kick. My size is a 6 in women's, and I'm a bit on the short side, so it won't take much material.

A shield and greaves? Well, I'll get to work on some designs. The shield should be easy, but I'll need to measure your legs for the greaves; I hate to admit that I don't quite understand how shoe sizes work.

The shield might get kind of expensive, but if you allow me to experiment with the design a bit, I can get you something cheaper. Let's call it 3,500 yen for the shield and 1,300 each for the greaves?

So that's a total of 6100 yen, right? No problem. I can even bump it up a bit if you're stripped for cash or need extra materials. I've been saving up my allowance for a while now, and it'll totally be worth it~<3
If there's anything I can do to help you out, I can do that to sweeten the deal a bit. From what I've seen your stuff is really good quality, and I like that some of the profits are going to the persona user expenses.

Yo man, I cut class to go armor shopping, and the usual place in the backstreets only has shit like a t-shirt full of magazines, and a really overpriced kevlar vest for security guards and I already have a ballistic vest that goes to Type IV, which even stopped a few of those AK rounds.
I need something for everyday though, that can probably take a hammer blow or a broadsword swing. My leather jacket is starting to get torn up, especially after I almost fought a damn Shadow using a spear, I wanna be ready for anything. So you know, just something that can take a blow from something heavy. All my shields are filled with dents, and are a bitch to handle, although this one hoplite shield I got is great for sledding and sliding on ice.
But yeah. Could you make me a cuirass, or something? Price doesn't matter to me, but it'd be nice if you could make it from something solid and light.
And some tomahawks. I need some of those. Ma told me I'm not allowed to buy weapons off the internet when she's not home, and normal hardware store hatchets don't fly the way I want them to.
Oh yeah, how's the shopping cart? It ain't rusty, is it?

Sent by: KrishnaSent to: MovingMonkeyNightlifeDude, if you need something, you can just drop in. Other than some repairs I've been doing lately, I've just been making test pieces and fooling around with power tools. We'll figure out some armor and tomahawks for you.[/color]

Due to some incident, my nodachi was broken and needs to be repaired. If you don't mind, would you repair it for me? It's my family's heirloom and it's made of some rare materials. Of course, I'll provide the materials. Just name the price for the repair. I'll manage that.

Well, you can bring it in, but I'm not sure I can guarantee anything. Fixing someone else's metalwork is like trying to cook someone else's signature dish without a recipe.
I'll take a look at it for free, and I'll tell you what I might be able to do with it. I can quote you a price after.

Do you have free time this Saturday? If so, I'd like to get the blade I picked up looked at and possibly fitted with a hilt. Nothing fancy, just wood and maybe something to improve the grip.
Thanks.
