I doubt You can handle making modern guns Naoya, no offense and I have no need for melee weapons.
>modern guns >irresponsible drunk teacher great idea, ladies and gents, ill totally feel safe again
Well I never. I don't drink in the ruins. that's just irresponsible. Far worse then my normal antics, students lives are at stake at that time. I assure you, I'm sober when I dungeon dive. Besides, I use a taster pistol, which is were I mention modern firearms.

I think there are more productive uses of this thread than arguing.
At any rate, Imoto-san does not make guns and is not a gunsmith. Discussions on firearms are not appropriate here.

A gun is simply a tube with the proper reinforcement, a firing pin, and a mechanism to move bullets into the location (see: tube.) I am certain that I am able to do it, however I must direct all firearm-related questions to my uncle, who can be contacted at Solomon.
I hope this has been helpful.

In all seriousness it really does depend on what is meant by "modern guns." Revolvers and other "antiquated" styles of firearm are significantly easier to craft than automatics or semiautomatics, as I understand it, and then of course, there are handguns, rifles, shotguns... other firearms... that said, the risk of being an illegal firearms craftsman is significantly higher than making melee weapons at the scrapyard. I wouldn't advise it.
In any event, guns, while perhaps "cool" from a certain point of view, have limited utility in the ruins. The place is much too closed in to rely exclusively on firearms and using guns in a team situation with other users who favor close-range weaponry can be patently unsafe, speaking as one who previously owned and utilized a revolver in the ruins myself (with my current mental malady, I do not trust myself with the thing, and have returned it to its maker).

Up until now, I've been using a steel curtain rod as a makeshift staff weapon, but it takes more patience then I have to beat something to death with a stick. If possible, I would like a spear weapon of sorts or any kind of polearm. I don't mind paying the cost, but I can offer my curtain rod for materials.

I'm not sure a curtain rod would be a good idea for raw materials.
Were you looking for a full-metal situation with the spear? Unless you're immune to lightning and fire, I wouldn't really advise it, in all honesty. A wooden haft, while possessing less structural integrity, has more flex and doesn't conduct heat.

I'd like to commission a weapon for my boyfriend. I'm not a Persona-user, but he is and he's too damn cautious with his money to buy one. I'm not sure whether I can swing the price right away, but what would I be looking at if I ordered, ah, let's say a big sturdy axe or hammer?

Good point. A wooden shaft would do just as well then. I also sort of wonder if you can make it a retractable staff so that it would be easier to hide while carrying around.

I'm sorry if this is too sudden, but will you make a sword for me? A one-hand sword, to be exact. I'm thinking about having a katana, but I heard that the real things are quite heavy, which isn't good for someone with small stature like me.
