That guy? Mister More-Teeth-Than-The-Osmond-Family? He tried to put a drill into my noggin while I was training in the ruins- I think he said I was stepping in on his turf, so I'm guessing he's living in the ruins. (How he's evaded the Reaper is beyond me). He had some of your explosives and was putting them inside some of the support pillars in the ruins. I believe I should change my screen name to commemorate my contributions to the case.

That's more like it. Now, I need a set of knives- about 5 will do. How much will it cost (assuming I get the discount)?

I've got to get to work on a paper, so this will be my last post tonight. I'll respond to any further queries tomorrow before school.
@Ace: I've got some already made. You can come in and pick five for 2,000 yen after discount.
Also, that was thermite, not an explosive. It burns at about 1,400 degrees celsius. I was using it to bust locks in the ruins, but it's kind of difficult to do it right. Are you saying he was depositing it in support pillars? As in attempting to bring down the supports?
@Guns: I don't know about upgrading -- I'm only now getting into machining things, and I think I'm doing pretty good at it, but I don't know much about the math that goes into it. I can retrue the barrel and that sort of thing easy, but the theory is currently beyond me.
If you want to go halves on some manuals for gunsmithy, I could pay you back your share with repairs. Though you may want to talk to my uncle about getting a license -- he's a policeman (on here as Solomon) and would probably help you out so long as you don't have a history of violent crime or anything like that.
@AdrenalineJunkie: Give me three days to get everything ready. Japanese-style swordsmithing isn't that easy. I could knock it down to two and give you a significant discount (maybe as low as 4.5k yen?) if you don't mind a western-style forging on the blade. It'll be a bit less flexible, and the edge won't hold quite as well, but I can manage.

Posted By: GunsNRosesDate: XXXX-XX-XX at 18:30 I may be able to do something about that. My only other option involves tracking down the guy who made this gun in the first place, and he's a bit of a traveler. And terrible at keeping in touch with people. So that might be a bit difficult. Given how frequently I've had to actually use this thing of late, getting a license is probably a good idea... - Quote: TheTwoCannedAdrenalineJunkie

Hey I just bought a leather jacket, I was wondering if you could put armor plating or something into the jacket to reinforce it.

4.5k yen, give me a week to get my plate cleared and a suitably sturdy mop handle found. If you can find a length of wood that'll do the trick, I could move it up to five days.

Well, I can make armor, no problem. I made a chain shirt just a little while ago. But I don't know how to reinforce a leather jacket, as that would require me to remove the lining, and that would require me to know about sewing, and I've yet to get into that. Though I could figure something out. If you can find a tailor to bring along, then we can talk.

Sure. I'll get it made and will have it locked up safe and sound, you come and pick it up when you've got the cash.

Not really. Kind of hard to find a girlfriend when you always smell like burnt things and mumble all the time. For once that's kind of an advantage, I guess.

You'll have to excuse me if I didn't find having the voice of a Hindu god in my head something that's safe to share. Forgive me?
But I'm afraid that I can't make any more thermite. The last few times I stockpiled it, it was stolen. It's just too dangerous to risk making it in large quantities, I could lose my spot here at the metalworks.
