How to play Call of Duty 4 split-screen 1. Download: AutoHotkey AutoHotkey split-screen COD4 script Xpadder COD4 Xpadder profile 2. Install AutoHotkey and Xpadder. 3. Start Xpadder and open COD4 Xpadder profile, that you just downloaded. ![]() 4. Run COD4 and create 2 new profiles, one for keyboard/mouse controls and other for joystick controls. 5. Activate windowed mode, by typing /r_fullscreen 0 in console and select desired resolution in options menu. Remember to turn off Vertical Sync. 6. Set up controls for joystick profile. Joystick buttons should work as keys now. 7. Copy iw3mp.exe in COD4 installation folder and rename it to iw3mp2.exe 8. Run iw3mp.exe, select joystick profile, create a server. 9. Run iw3mp2.exe, select keyboard profile, join server. Keyboard/mouse window must be the active window and the joystick window must be inactive. 10. Run AutoHotkey split-screen COD4 script. 11. Click on Keyboard/mouse COD4 window and make sure it's the active window! That's all it should work now, if joystick window is not working just reload AutoHotkey split-screen COD4 script. To reload a scipt just right-click on H icon in tray and click "Reload This Script" ![]() ![]() Note: Don't use shift key in controls, because when you hold it the joystick input won't be sent to joystick window. I suggest change sprint to mouse4 or mouse5. Or even disable it to give joystick player a nice handicap ![]() Basically this AutoHotkey script sends these keys to inactive COD4 window: ~Up ~Down ~Left ~Right ~PgUp ~End ~Insert ~Delete ~L ~PgDn ~N ~Home ~M ~0 ~i ~o ~p ~u ~j ~k ~ESC ~ENTER ~7 ~8 ~9 And Xpadder converts joystick input to those keys. Depends on your computer. I got 40-50 FPS in my PC on normal/low settings. |
