I've seen that in other clans. It'd work.

One point of our clan has always been that everyone can join. No one likes elite clans; everywhere I go people tell me how much they hate nK, and I have even heard people saying they dislike the Hobos. The purpose of this clan was to have a structured, clean, and fun environment for everyone. who would like to be a part of it.

During a new recruit's week-long probationary period, if anyone, no matter your rank, sees a problem with someone, please let us know. Or if you've noticed bad behavior before they actually joined us, again, please let us know. I don't care if you're a Regular or even a Recruit, you have the right and the responsibility to inform us of behavior issues, and this also can give us some insight into your character. This way we can be aware that someone might need a closer eye kept on them.

Recruits should definitely wear a tag so that members and non-members can know who's in our clan, however, a modified one for Recruits might be a good idea. I don't know if it would make much of a difference though, the only behavior problems I'm recalling off of the top of my head were with members who were Regulars.

Also, Eyes, on a side note, I have seen everyone who has joined the clan (not specifically the forum, as some of those people never posted) in the past 30 days in-game.

Admin logs? I'm on in the morning, afternoon, night and early morning so I highly doubt you have personally seen them in game.

Oh, I have. There are only a few I haven't (not mentioning names. Not yet, anyways), maybe 3 or 4.

Also, anyone upset about the shear numbers of the clan, let me remind you that we are going to do an inactive members purge very soon, and we'll probably lose quite a few of our 90+ members.

But I think I'd have to agree, a Recruit tag would be good. I'll talk to the council about it.

Good read. I agree completely.

I disagree on one point here. A "thumbs up" from a higher rank should not override someone else's sighting of misbehavior, as long as the reporter is trusted, as the knights or sergeants may not have seen or noticed them violating the rules, while a regular has. I think only people with access to the logs should have an override

To that end, I would assume that the higher up giving the thumbs up would have good reason for doing so, like they know the guy's dog had just died or something and he's not normally like that.

If we are going to set guidelines through which we accept members, we aught to do it properly where the member goes through certain tests to assess their skill levels. However, PRT made it clear early on that we will only be recruiting based on willingness to join. Therefore, I believe our squad system, plus the soon, very much anticipated purge will cleanse the clan down to solid, active, committed members. So while I think your suggestions is quite good, I don't think it will be as effective as what we are currently doing.

We have a little over 100...

Not everyone who's registered on the forum is in the clan, for example both Destin and Hawke, our allies, have forum accounts.
