So, isn't this terrifying? I'm terrified too.

Greetings new (and returning) members, I'm Seika, one of your new admins. For those of you who haven't been keeping up with the main topic in the announcements forum Shed has moved on (though kept his position, he is now 'Founder') and Ilex and I are the new admins in a joint administration. PMF is in need of a major renovation, including the staff, the board itself, and the members and attitude. Face it - we don't sprite anymore (well I do, but that's a different story). PMF either needs to change it's focus slightly or recruit new members who are interested in spriting. If you want to discuss the changes further please go here. Ilex and I will overview member suggestions and make polls/changes/whatever. So, while we're in this calm before the storm, I'd like to ask all our members to become slightly more active in preparation for the changes to come. If you can't find a topic to talk in, make one. Sprite, critique, and stuff. Just stay active until the exciting stuff starts, okay? (Ilex, feel free to post here. I just did this since you're not on as much) |

I see how you slyly snuck in that 'slightly' there. Keep in mind that I am open to changing PMF more than just slightly to open up to more members. |

I agree that our focus needs to change somewhat, but I think a little jump could do just as much as a big one. I agree with what Fre said on the 4th Gen kind of killing Pokemon spriting, but I wouldn't want to see PMF change into a complete blah copy of every other Pokemon forum out there. Rosalie: I honestly don't know about that. I think spriter tests should be put on hold until the forum gets more organized. Edited by Seika, March 29, 2009, 11:17 am.

Check the poll in Forum Debates - we're currently deciding whether or not we should change our focus as a forum and how. |
