Rick they mount right to the mirror stems. The stem goes through the bracket right below the stem nut. This allows adjustment closer to farther away from the hands, the bracket itself can also be slightly bent to position the angle up or down. |

| Ahh, I think I've seen this mounting system - was always a bit worried about the flat bracket that can pivot around the mirror bolt slicing the top off knuckles in the event of running into something. |

OK, different to the ones I saw then which almost looked like a knife in waiting. Of course by the time the bracket is slicing your knuckles off your finger bones are being crushed to splinters against the grip anyway so I guess it would simply save the surgeon having to amputate :LOL: |
