The New Rising Star From Bell Helmets
By Dave D.

The new Bell star helmets development first began with a one off custom helmet exclusively developed for super bike racer Eddie Lawson. The shape of the new bell star helmet was decided upon after trials by Eddie, who found the design to be almost perfectly stable while racing. So the end result is a new helmet for Bell which was extremely stable at high speed both head on and turning with an unrivaled ventilation system..

This new Bell motorcycle helmet took over 3 years from drawing board to test track and is claimed by Bell to be the best Bell star helmet ever. And considering Bell actually invented the motorcycle helmet, that's a hell of an endorsement.

This revolutionary new Star comes with Bell's new exclusive Velocity Flow Ventilation system with Flow Adjust, this is a completely new airflow management system that creates a natural flow vacuum that sucks air through the helmet, and so ensures the rider's head stays cool and dry.

The Star's super aerodynamic stability has been also developed from the open-cockpit formula 1 racing designs that ensures good head stability and the resist to lift. The new aerodynamic shape keeps the Star helmet stable at speed, while the sculpted chin piece gives the helmet a smoother, feel when the rider moves their head either left or right. For track racing, the Star comes with the Track Strip, which is an add-on piece that further improves the helmets stability at speeds of over 130 mph.

The Star's 3 Mode visor with Click Release is now one of the easiest visors to use and change. In highway use this visor also works in harmony with the stars special multi-stage chin vents that transfers air up the inside of the NutraFog II coated visor to virtually eliminate misting.

This new racing inspired Bell helmet has been produced using a proven wind tunnel, super stable lift free design and is constructed from Bell's super lightweight Kevlar/carbon fiber/fiberglass TriMatrix Composite. Inside it has new contoured cheek pads for better comfort and a superior fit, a removable and washable, antibacterial/antimicrobial interior liner. Complete with a plush helmet bag, and a five-year warranty, the new bell star motorcycle helmet is more than worthy of its Bell helmets pedigree.

Dave-d is a an avid motorcycling enthusiast and a firm advocate of Full Face Helmets

Amongst his recommended choices are the popular Bell Star motorcycle helmets which combine excellent cost savings and great looks without sacrificing safety and quality.
