Merchant Posts: 30 Group: Inhabitant Member #6 Joined: Jul 29, 2008	The strumming of a guitar cut through the hubbub of the crowded tavern. Like a ripple, everyone turned to look at the Smith's son, who was singing one of his original songs. At first it sounded like a serenade. "I know of a most beautiful maid," The singers blue eyes were closed, and his fingers were gently cycling through a few chords. "A debt to her in love I have paid." Some of those who had already drank a lot began to cry, even though it wasn't all that sad. "And yet my deepest affections are staid," Several were nodding. The boy's voice took on a more desperate edge in the last line. "Why, oh why, must I wait to get laid?" Some women laughed, but then were shocked to find out that he was serious. Luckily their embarrassment was interrupted by a rousing tavern song, a personal favorite, about the wonders of large bosoms. Many men joined in the chorus of flauntingly lewd lyrics. All the women, by now, had realized why they had never joined their husbands on Tuesdays.
