The Narrator Posts: 110 Group: Creator Member #1 Joined: May 7, 2008 Gender Female	{Name} Araba Semmesut ~Suffix} The Witch (Her more common alias) {Gender} Female {Age} One hundred and two {Race/Species} Witch, though she's lost her powers. {Appearance} ~Height} 5'3 ~Build} Broad shouldered, average build, relatively curvaceous ~Skin Tone} Pale ~Hair/Fur Color} Reddish brown ~Eye Colour} Brown {History} Araba was born on an unknown island in the middle of the ocean. Her mother, the famed sorceress Arabra, conceived her without male partnership, and thus created her with a lock of her own hair and an assortment of other ingredients in a cauldron. Araba ran away with a young mortal when she was in her late teens, defying her mother's wishes. As such, Arabra's mother banished her to a distant place, the Kingdom, for loving a human. Later, when Araba was grieved with loneliness, she took the Mysterious Man's infant daughter from him when he made the mistake of taking her beans for himself. As such, a curse left embedded in her from her mother was finally put into place, cursing Araba with age and ugliness. She named the girl Rapunzel. However, she recently lost her daughter to a mortal prince, who eventually found Rapunzel after Araba had banished her to the desert. The curse from Araba's mother was also lifted recently, though the results backfired in a word, as they returned her youth and beauty to her, yet usurped her of her powers. ~Fairy Tale} Rapunzel: One day a pregnant woman asked her husband to get her some greens from the garden of the evil witch who lived next door. He does so, but unfortunately the witch catches him, and is furious. She tells the couple that the moment that their child is born, she will take it for her own. When this happens, the witch sticks to her word. She takes the infant girl who she names Rapunzel and locks her in a tower. When Rapunzel is grown she has the longest hair of anyone in the land. One day a prince walks by and finds the witch calling to Rapunzel to let down her hair to her. The next day, the prince does this, and meets Rapunzel in her tower and asks her to marry him. When the witch finds out about their encounter, she banishes Rapunzel to the desert, where Rapunzel bores twins. Later, when the prince comes to take Rapunzel to his castle, the witch appears in the tower and curses the prince with blindness. One day, the prince wanders aimlessly in the desert and finds Rapunzel. Rapunzel's overjoyed tears wet the prince's eyes, restoring his vision. They leave for the prince's castle and are happy from then on. ~Family Member(s)} Her "daughter", Rapunzel. {Personality} Araba is sour, spiteful, and passionate. She is reclusive and anti-social. With good reason. She sees humans as a race of foolhardy imbeciles, whose sole purpose on earth is to annoy her. She behaves slightly less sarcastically towards beings of magical heritage however, since they are closer to those of her own race. Though she isn't known for being the best mother, that doesn't stop her from having insurmountable love for her surrogate daughter. She holds reams of anger and resent for her mother, though continues to live life eternally under her thumb. Faults} See above. ~Quirks} Though she is a witch, the reversal of her curse has rendered her powerless. She is now seen as something of an outcast among other magical beings. ~Sexual Orientation} Bisexual
