Welcome to Out In The Black, an RPG set in the Firefly verse. This is a totally original RPG, thus no canon characters or canon ships.
It's not mandatory to have seen the show or the movie, as everything you need to know is located on board! If you have any questions feel free to leave a message in the cbox or pm a staff member!
If you are a part of FF.net, then you will know me as Miss Quartermain. I write for practically any book/movie that I like. Currently that list includes: LXG, Doctor Who (The Doctor ROCKS!!), Star Wars, and others. I am a recent convert to Firefly fandom, thanks to our lovely Dr. Gryphon.
I am currently attending university and studying English in the hopes of becoming a writer. When I am not RPing and watching TV/Films (I own all of Firefly and the film Serenity) I am reading practically any period drama or Mercedes Lackey book that catches my fancy. Gryphon has gotten me hooked on Sherlock Holmes. I blame her for a lot of my current quirks, actually.
I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (AKA Mormons). If that bothers anybody, I am sorry in advance and I will do my best to not preach. Just...don't let Gryphon mention polygamy near me. XD You have been warned.
Currently I am working on a novel that goes along with Gryphon's latest work of genius and helping her write her novel. We will be famous!!! *grins like a loon*
Well, that's me. You may call me Kathy, Chen, You Insane Mormon, or Jess. Signing out!
I tend to keep things clean, but if you want this to be messy, that's up to you.
Oh. Just a note: My wireless connection here at university doesn't allow me to use the cbox. If you need to talk to me, you will have to PM me. Sorry for the trouble.

*grins broadly* I take 80% of the credit for her current odditites. The other 20% is a combination of her own quirks and a few things rubbed off from some crazy British gals we enjoy associating with.
"I'm an optimist. That may be a crime to you twisted so-and-sos, but it keeps me from goin' crazy."
