Your Role and Others You may be wondering now; "I have an idea for a character, but what do I do now?" Well, I am here to tell you there are several options available for you to fit smugly into the Role Play. Below are a list of occupations, jobs and fillers that will allow you to interact with other members effectively and insure an active and enjoyable time here at Out In The Black. Ship Crew Captain Crew Mechanic Hired Mercenary Medic The ship crew is not simply limited to Captain, Crew, Mechanic and Medic. The make-up of a ships crew can be diverse. Anywhere from extra mechanics to medical staff. The open positions for a certain ship should be determined by the Captain. If you wish to join a ship please contact the member that controls the ship, IE: The Captain, if the position is not listed in the positions thread. Outer Planetary Town Citizen Outlaw Citizen Constable/Peace Keeper Banker Bar Owner/Tender Entertainer Farmer Various Other Occupations Though relatively un-specified, use your imagination. It can range from outlaw to peace keeper. The towns are small and relatively isolated. The towns resemble old western civilization, gun battles, outlaws and the whole of it. Just keep it reasonable. Obtaining These Positions To obtain any of the above positions simply put the occupation in your profile. Also, please check in the 'Positions Thread' to see if the desired position is open. If it is not the occupation will be marked out. There are many positions that are unspecified but are available that we cannot simply put because we would never get finished with the list. In other words, be creative, if you have an idea, and are just not sure, just pm a staff member, or even the ship's captain! For now we won't allow new captains (thus new ships) as otherwise characters get spread too thinly, there are 2 ships and a town, so possibilities enough!
