At first glance, Nell liked this woman. Her mish-mash of accents were certainly pretty Core-heavy, but she seemed not to have the innate stick-up-her-ass-iness that most Core-worlders had. She must have been in space long enough for it to have worn off. But then Nell's eyes narrowed dangerously as the woman's gaze lingered just a little too long on her Pangu tattoo. She'd seen the woman's eyebrows raise. So, she'd heard of the Pangu, had she? Not too surprising, a lot of folks had... But what did this woman think of her, for surviving that mess?

There was a dangerous sort of silence in the medical lab. Nell watched the doctor warily, her eyes seeming to dare the other woman to say something, to make an issue out of it. Luckily for both of them, she didn't. She rather chirpily introduced herself, and Nell relaxed, putting on a friendly grin as if nothing had just happened.

"Pleased to meet you Doc." She said. "Nice to know there's someone around to glue us back together if we go get ourselves shot at. Last ship I was on, our cook was the one who stuck us back together, and he was real lousy with a needle and thread. Made great dumplings, though."

She shrugged, and then looked around the facility. It was small - no ship's med day was going to be partiularly large, not when they needed every inch they could get for cargo - but it seemed well stocked and clean. Pile of books on the table - seemed this woman had some books smarts, to boot. She squinted at the title, and then gave up. Nell liked her words in small, illustrated chunks, when she liked 'em at all.

"So, uh..." She said, jamming her hands into her pockets. "You're gonna want to bleed me or something?"
