Welcome to Out In The Black, an RPG set in the Firefly verse. This is a totally original RPG, thus no canon characters or canon ships.
It's not mandatory to have seen the show or the movie, as everything you need to know is located on board! If you have any questions feel free to leave a message in the cbox or pm a staff member!
The first border system. The inner planets are more earth like then the outer planets and moons, also more civilized and more controlled by the Alliance, although a lot less then in the Core system. The outer moons are far less advanced and are mostly more desert like where life is hard.
The second border system of the verse. A mix between heavy alliance controlled planets, and more 'free' and less advanced (or civilized) planets. A diverse system of planets and moons. This system is also known for it's scrap metal industry and a lot of other 'fancy' things you can buy for some cheap prices. Becuase the main Alliance shipyards are located on the moon 'Ares'.
The highgate system is the system with the least ammount of habitable planets and moons, even though it lies relatively close to the core system. It is also the least civilized border system of them all, most planets or moons make their living in mining and factories. Some moons and planets also harbour very religions people. In this border system Alliance isn't very present either. People have to survive with what they have and what they can get their hands on. The only alliance controlled planet is the Penal Moon.
Not well known amongst the 'Verse, The Behemoth is one of the more top knotch Cargo and Passenger Transport Freights out there. With a brother-sister captain and pilot team and a crew from every sort of background, they've been holding up pretty well. Money may be getting a little tight here and there, but their reputation has been well guarded. This Durance Class boat has a strict no-questions-asked policy that they've maintained over the past two years that it's been in flight. They've not gotten into trouble from the feds or one of their customers yet. Yet.
