Transformers The Movie ruined everything G1 created. Sure, it was a good film(if you no nothing of Transformers or if you are accepting the fact that Michael Bay is stupid)

Please note, that this is STRICTLY my opinion on it, also note, that I would've liked the film(if I didn't know anything about Transformers) Please tell me why you agree or disagree(I am sure I am pissing off a TON of people, but it is just my opinion, and is subject to change)

The reason I HATE this movie is because:

First Off; Why I Think It Destroyed ChildHoods, AND The Whole Idea Of Transformers:

-G1 was all about creating personalities to these robots(making a giant, transforming robot more relatable to kids and adults alike) That was the appeal, having really good character development in "Transformering robots"

BUT, Michael Bay says,"NO, let's make this ACTIONY, and instead of making the robots have backround, personality(to give them a relatable connection), or any other trait that a "real" race of living organisms would have(or traits that the G1 cartoon set up). Let's just make these alien robots, with cool guns, transformations, and of course AWESOME cars(URRR), WHAT IS THAT?!?!. That doesn't have ANYTHING to do with Transformers... THAT MADE ME FURIOUS! AND, throwing in Samuel WhitWhicky, Makeala, and some other S**T characters(that have nothing to do with Transformers) ALL the story was: Is Michael Bay creating two HUMANS(that stupid teenagers can "relate" with) and having them find a "transforming robot", befriending this robot(that all we know about it, is his name) then they kill Megatron(HHMM... some little Shia Laboef killing a 45ft tall, super advanced, alien, leader of and EXTREME fighting force, robot!?!) WHAT IS THAT!?!

How this movie destroyed the "look" of Transformers, and the connection to us:

BumbleBee is not a FRICKIN Camaro, he is a bug(or a neat scion(somthing more G1) Optimus is SUPPOSED to be a flat nose truck(not some blue, peice of crap "cool" blue truck, with flames...WHAT IS THAT??!) Jazz should've been at least a white car, ratchet is a GIANT peice of CRAP(that stupid green, custom Hummer CRAP, is not an AMBULANCE?!?!) IronHide was okay, Megatron was a peice of CRAP(some stupid "protoform" alien, that Michael Bay dreamed up) Starscream was also CRAP...

Most of them were just, "cool" cars, flames, and "cool" looking robots(again; WHAT IS THAT!?!?) Also there was NO development in these characters, it was just a load of CRAP(because the robots had NO personality, NO feelings, and at the end of the movie, you just think of Transformers as, "COOL alien robots" WHAT IS THAT!!!!!!!?

The faces were STUPID... robots do NOT have EYEBROWS, TEETH, OR FACIAL EXPRESSIONS!, they have face plates, and light up eyes.

Overall, I HATE this film, cause it killed G1, gave millions of newcomer Transformer fans a terrible interpretation of TF, and was just made to make money, be "ACTIONY", and let Michael Bay F**K up a legacy.

sorry man....but i really have to disagree. and don't worry i have some reasons to back it up. first of all...it's NOT g1. bay or anyone else for that matter ever said it was going to be g1. it could of been energon or rid or anything else. but it wasn't. it wasn't classified under any of those things because it was it's own franchise. so comparing it to somthing it's not doesn't make much difference. second of all g1 isn't superior or anything. it had some flaws....*COUGH*NO*CONTINUING*STORYLINE*COUGH* *COUGH *UNLESS*IT*WAS*A*2-PARTER*COUGH* damn i must be comming down with somthing. if they were gonna make a movie based on a series for story it should of been beast wars.

WOHA WOHA WOHA i really don't think that if you're an adult who liked transformers as a kid and you went to see this movie i really don't think you'd go home and destroy everything that reminded you of your childhood because bumblebee was a camaro instead of a bug.....unless you play world of warcraft all day....in which case how did they find time out of their "busy schedule" of world of warcraft to find time to watch the movie? well g1 was about stealing japaneese toys and selling them as hasbro's own. OK ya they named it transformers....but MARVEL MADE THEM. they wrote all the tech specs and created all the characters....and did you notice when hasbro finally took transformers for a spin and tried to make some of their own they FAILED MISERABLY!!!! (g2 bruticus and superion ) and sam witwicky is spike from g1. spike is his nickname sam is his real name. and as sexy as shia lebouf is....we really needed some sex appeal *bring in megan fox* YEOOWWWWW I'D LIKE TO TRANSFORM HER VIRGINITY!!!!! that sounded WAAAAAAAAAAY wrong. (i apologise)

it wasn't me, it wasn't me!! It was robofeeney!!

but really, you have to get used to transformers changing, it is just the way transformers go. beast wars, beast machines, animated, and movie. in my humble opinions those were the best series we ever had. so really transformers will change and it is something you have to realize.
