So im kind of a noob, and was just wondering. wats up with the dinobots and grimlock and stuff? because theyre autobots (well they have the sign) but theyre "Evil" please help me out

I hope in season 3, they turn them kick ass again, and bring them in to more episodes and not just little cameos here and there, and not more grimlock loving blackarachnia or any thing else.
