Here is a few I have just uploaded. Only small version so I dont take up too much space but hope you like. I will write about them as much as I can. The first lot is images I did late 2008/early 2009. The theme was meant to be surrealism i wanted to do movement, but ive it an old look like an old movie. But I also wanted a black and white image with the hint of colour so I researched the movie "Shindlerlist" it's about the holocaust and it's a black and white film but the only colour in the movie is a little girl with a red coat. So I decided I wanted to have a female model. But as i changed the image to black and white, i errased the black and white over the shirt showing the colour. But it was a blue shirt, so I had to edit the image further to make it red. As I said these are like my first images I did "professionally" so they arn't amazing. ![]() Next set is something we had to do about us. About our personality... I did 3 things. How I think about my self, what objects mean most to me during an average day life and what other people think about me. Once again they are black and white. ![]() This one was what I thought about my self and how I felt about my own identity. At the time I had no idea, I personally didn't feel happy about my self, and I didn't know what to think. So you can see a question mark on my face and my facial expression and lighting I think gives it a bit of a dramatic feel to the image. ![]() This Image, as I said gathered objects that I use every day life on a average day. The MP3 give my own personality symbolising my style of music giving me my own personality, my bus pass, and my mobile phone with a text. ![]() Third one was about how other people thought about me. I went around to all my friends and asked them to describe me in one word. After I wrote down the words i just got a simple image of me sitting down (i look so uncomfortable in the image lol) and in the background you can see writting on the wall. On photoshop i edited the writting into the wall to make it look like graffiti on the wall. But the graffiti is all the words that I got from people. Next set is about buildings. This image with the bombed out church I thought was pretty decent for the fact it was all historical dating back to world war 2. On my final image I got a quote by winston churchill talking about the plymouth bombings and how running away wont win the war. I copied a little bit of the quote and stuck it in the image. Sadly on this image i dont have it but I think the image alone looks amazing. lol. And the other image I just wanted to take a picture of a modern building in a different way. ![]() Now this is just some random landscape photography. ![]() Thats it for now... Hope it isn't too rubbish and boring for you lol Edited by Jiki, February 22, 2010, 4:07 pm.

I ADORE THEM!!! Really! They're very artistic and I like the way you pass on messages through your photographs... About the first set, I love the combination of black and white with another color, I use that a lot too! I like the second set for the reason I mentioned above, the messages they give.. Especially on "what other people think about you" pic. I think it's very original, and don't worry: the fact that you look uncomfortable is what makes it perfect, because many people worry about what other people think.. The third set. Hmmmm, I don't really like buildings pictures, but I really like the aspect you gave on the modern building and the black&white combination with old church fits great. About the landscapes, I LOVE the long one and the waters... The colors are amazing, I certainly hope these are the real thing and you didn't edit anything... You are a very talented photographer, here is my essay about your greatness and I can't wait to see more from you. END. LOL. |

I try not to edit the image much at all. But due to being on a photography course and most photography these days is digital. There is also some sort of editing... I've got a few more on the way, a fake wedding shoot lol. But thanks, means a lot. Deffinetly when you teachers are like "oh this could be better" "oh no you should of done that it looks horrible" "I dont like it" kind of gets annoying after a while! Wedding shoot, tad editing. (brightened) ![]() not much of a theme here, just had to practice wedding photography. Most of them i told them how to pose apart from last one i said just relax, talk, kiss do what ever you feel comfortable and he decided to pull a face at her so i took a picture

I'm not really into wedding pics, but since you HAD to.... I like them, actually. They look like they were on a magazine or something.. Well, except the last one, which is by coincidence my favorite! I love randomness

I've used Nikon D70's and Nikon D80's. It's what the college provides for us i have also used a pentax k100 film camera and a many others. I would share but that depends on how much you know about film photography otherwise what i say would just confuse the hell out of you. I remember when i had to learn about it i was like And wedding photography is my least favourite, in fact i hate it. My dads friend was like "oh does your son want to do our wedding" and i was like "I dont care if he pays me for it i refuse to do it "
