 CoroCoro Magazine has revealed Pokémon Platinum, the third game in the 4th generation series of Pokémon games. It shows off the new “Origin” form of Giratina used in the upcoming movie, a revamped battle interface, better clothes for the male lead (thank God). Some other reported features include: September release (in Japan?), Giratina on the box Volkner is no longer the Sunyshore City gym leader The Underground is now Wi-Fi enabled Battle Island revealed; same concept as Battle Frontier in Emerald No new Pokémon (obviously), but some new forms including Giratina’s Origin Form, Regigigas’ Sky Form, as well as Shaymin’s Another Form. The former two gain the “Levitate” ability, while Shaymin’s new form is part Ice-type. This isn’t one of our jokes, but it’s not been 100% confirmed by Nintendo either. For now, we’ll stick it in the same category as Kid Icarus for the Wii: it’s coming for sure, we’re just waiting on the Nintendo announcement. Thanks to piplupmaster for the heads up. well there are going to be SOME differences. It is kind of like crystal ver: it is an updated and improved. It most likely will come out after the 11th movie premires in the US, which is in November, due to the fact that it includes Giratinas Origin form, regigigas's Sky form, and Shaymin, who will play a role in the game and movie. Most players don't know he exists! Also a heads up, Nintendo just trademarked the names DawnGold and DuskSilver. Maybe a G&S remake? |

yea... http://serebii.net/index2.shtml Serebii gave a better scan of the image. it looks incredible. they also hinted at a new redesigned battle system in the scan AND that Giratina's speical ability ISN'T going to be Levitate as assumed. we will have to sit back and watch this one play out. I will only look forward to a Pokemon game called "Pokemon". Here is what it would have. ____________________________________________________________ "Pokemon" would have all four regions, Kanto, Johto, Hohen, and Sinnoh. It would also have "every pokemon". All of them. All the commons and legendarys. "Pokemon" would have custumizable characters too, and all the features from previous handheld games. You could get 32 badges, and maybe a secret god badge that was nearly impossible to get. You'd get it from The Mewtwo in the first movie after beating his lvl 250 legendaries. It would have good Wi-fi, graphics, and sound. ____________________________________________________________ |
