That took place ten and a half thousand years before the original Dune. XP As for CG, the only thing I can think of off the top of my head that would need CG are the sandworms. Maybe some of the weapons and props, too. And probably the body shields. And as for actors, personally, I'd rather see actors that I either haven't heard of before, or are not well known.
